The hotel is in a great location, though if coming by car, unloading/loading and parking could be difficult. The hotel’s lot was full, so we had to park at the lot nearby, which I cannot recommend. Breakfast was excellent.

Insgesamt war alles Okay, das Frühstück war Top. Das Zimmer war Sauber aber die Minibar nicht befüllt und das Kopfende des Bettes dirkt am Fahrstuhlschacht(nervt) .Tiefgarage recht teuer.

Sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Innenstadt fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist super und das Personal ist sehr höflich und sehr freundlich. Leider kostet die Tiefgarage extra. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Der Aufenthalt war gut die Freundlichkeit gut, leider wird auch in diesem Hotel immer weniger bedient und Selbstbedienung steht im Vordergrund. So wurde die Baar am Sonntag nicht bedient und am Montag war diese um 22:00 Uhr schon geschlossen. Man ist gezwungen extern zu gehen oder im Zimmer den leeren Kühlschrank anzusehen.

Das Hotel bietet eine ideale und zentrale Lage, das Personal ist freundlich und die Ausstattung okay. Für die Baustelle direkt vor dem Fenster kann das Hotel nichts, aber als Tourist will man ja eh nicht lange schlafen. Die Tiefgarage ist eng und teuer, besondere Highlights hat das Hotel nicht. Frühstücksbuffet war okay, aus anderen Steigenberger Hotels, sind wir aber qualitativ höherwertige Waren gewöhnt.

The hotel location is great. A friendly receptionist. Unfortunately, parking is not available actually. The closest parking is a little strange. It does not calculate 24 hour parking, it calculates two days and total cost was too much. I reserved a room for three people and it was not prepared. There was a mistake or the management is not great.

Surpassed my expectations. Stayed at the Maxx for a mini conference and was significantly impressed. My room was on the top 4th floor which provided a great view of the rooftops on Potsdam. Everyone and everything with the Maxx went well: clean room and hotel. Attentive staff. The best location in terms of Sanssouci Park, area restaurants, and easy accessible to the tram or buses.

Der Room-Service hatte Schwächen: benutzte Tassen u. Gläser wurden über Tage nicht abgeräumt, es gab keine neuen Kaffee-Kapseln u. das Duschgel ging beim duschen leer, so dass mein Partner keins mehr hatte! Da erwarte ich die übliche Voraussicht, dass vorher ausgetauscht wird.

Trevligt hotell med perfekt läge för att utforska Potsdam. Tillgången till parkering var inte riktigt som förväntat utifrån bokningen och rummet var väldigt varmt/svårt att vädra. Men trevligt hotell, väldigt bra frukost och hjälpsam personal.

Das Hotel ist schick und modern.Die Betten sind total bequem und auch das Bad großzügig im Schnitt. Das Frühstück vielseitig und lecker. Die Lage ist super. Genau zwischen Schloss Sanssouci und seine Gärten und der Stadt mit vielen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Havel ist in 20 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. An der Havel ist eine L’Osteria, die auch sehr zu empfehlen ist. Potsdam ist wunderschön. 2 Tage sind zu wenig. Und darum kommen wir sicher wieder.

We loved our stay in this charming modern property. The list of positives; room had AC as it was hot during our stay. Appreciated the daily small bottles of complimentary water! Shopping in delicious dinning were walking distance as well as the Sancucci park and castles. Public transportation was at the corner. The room was non smoking. The bed was comfortable. Daily breakfast was optional we chose to eat at the local restaurants. Desk staff was always so helpful a cordial. Shower water purified. Credit option at the bar or restaurant for not changing the linens everyday. Small inconvenience -The restaurant and bar did not stay open late. Thank you for a comfortable and memorable stay!

The staff was very slow and disinterested. Many times no one on staff was at the Reception Desk. There were staff members walking around the hotel, but they were not at Reception and not assisting guests. Often there was a line of guests waiting for service at Reception. In addition there were elevator problems. One elevator never worked during our stay, so all guests appeared to be using the one available elevator or WALKING THE STAIRS.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war nicht hilfsbereit und überfordert. Wir hatten 6 Zimmer im Hotel gebucht (und alle im Vorfeld bezahlt). Leider ist bei der Buchung etwas schief gegangen und 2 von 6 Zimmern waren storniert. Die Rezeptionsmitarbeiter meinten einfach, da hätten wir eben Pech gehabt und sie hätten jetzt auch kein anderes Zimmer frei. Kein Wort des Bedauerns, kein klärender Anruf bei Expedia, nichts! Ich bin selten so im Regen stehen gelassen worden. Wir mussten uns dann auf eigene Faust ein anderes Hotel buchen und anstatt der angedachten zwei Einzelzimmer mussten wir uns ein Doppeltzmmer teilen. Seitens Expedia gab es anstandslos den kompletten Preis für die zwei stornierten Zimmer zurück. Trotzdem hätte ich mir vom Maxx Hotel mehr Unterstützung gewünscht oder zumindest ein kleines Entgegenkommen, in dem man uns ein kostenloses Frühstück anbietet.

Wir mussten uns dann auf eigene Faust ein anderes Hotel buchen und anstatt der angedachten zwei Einzelzimmer mussten wir uns ein Doppeltzmmer teilen. Seitens Expedia gab es anstandslos den kompletten Preis für die zwei stornierten Zimmer zurück. Trotzdem hätte ich mir vom Maxx Hotel mehr Unterstützung gewünscht oder zumindest ein kleines Entgegenkommen, in dem man uns ein kostenloses Frühstück anbietet.
