Quaint little hotel. Room was on the small size but cozy. Sadly restaurant was not open yet and really wanted to try that. The building is older and can hear every door and step by all the other guests. Close to everything and the Parkway. Didn't use the game room or breakfast but looked nice.

I appreciate Skyline keepings room costs down though various methods. Not providing any chairs in rooms certainly reduces cost, and providing one half roll of cheap toilet paper and 5 Kleenex tissues to last for four days/three nights also reduces costs. In addition, I appreciate the owners for providing a TV in the room but not including any cable or satellite service, rendering the TV as a simple and useless room decoration. The air conditioner, with the ball bearings in the motor failing, made for a steady noise throughout the night. Oh, and only having access to a shared microwave oven outside the room in a common area also made extra space available in the room. The wadded up dryer sheet in the micro-refrigerator was placed there, I'm sure, to be sure that whatever was inside smelled nice. There were two stacks of towels, two make-up cloths, but no washcloths. I improvised. Somehow, the room had hot running water. I was quite surprised that it was included with the room, as the other observations led me to expect only cold showers.
