Great place to stay. Plenty of area to walk my dog in safe well kept area. A little heavy of traffic noise, but as I live out I farming area.

Was an over all good experience! Would ask not to be by the pool there are some people who live there I think that gave me the creeps! But not the hotels fault! They were training a girl up front and they were still very fast and nice! I enjoyed the free breakfast and the pool was great! I’d stay there again for the price! Need a broom or something when you come for the sand (we forgot) good location to everything.

Worse hotel I have ever been to. My room was switched three times because the TV was not working in each room, the floor panels were coming up, the third room had no hot water, people were smoking weed outside my door and the treadmill was broken.

The hotel had roaches, thenair conditioner was stuck on freezing and could not be turned off, the pool was shut down. The Irish girl with a twin nrotjer working the front desk on check in very kind

Clean and nice pool

The staff was Excellent, when you needed something they were there to supply you with the item, pool was clean, great stay.

It was very nice all around except for some 16 year olds being belligerent and yelling curse words and starting fights even though they were taking care of 4 kids under the age of 5.

Staff was very polite ready and willing to address concerns or answer questions, bed was actually comfortable, and pool was good. Other than that the room was in horrible condition. Booked hotel for a week, Went through 3 rooms before unfortunately due to other circumstances we stayed in. Bought my own Lysol to clean the room. I think staff are doing the best with cards delt, I believe the situation/condition of the hotel is a corporate failure.

Our bed was broken. No towels in hotel. Had to wait til next day to shower. Room was not serviced while we were there. Had to ask for toilet paper. Room smelled like something died in room. Was nothing like the pictures on line. Staff was polite. Pool was filthy. Could not use

There was mold growing on the bathroom ceiling.

The room was dirty, bathroom had hair everywhere, the dirt on the floor was pushed up next to wall. Asked for towels for 2 days, they didn’t have any clean. Had 4 towels in room, 1 towel was filthy and folded up, the bath mat was grungy. This room was very disgusting!! Really no towels??? This place needs supervision & housekeeping needs to be trained o. How to clean..

Dirt built up on air vents. Mold on the shower curtian and bath tub.

Mold in the showers, rust on the walls due to ironing board, sheets were stained, hillbillies throwing parties in the parking well after midnight, cockroaches in the lobby, every evening the key card would be demagnetized, just a terrible place to stay on a family vacation.

Room was dirty, had to be moved to another room. You can tell that room was also not properly cleaned. There is mold in the bathroom. The beds are sinking in the middle. The room smelled so bad, when I returned home I had to leave my luggage outside because the odor was now in my apartment. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but the stench of smoking still lingered. There were also trash sitting out in peoples doors and a horrible odor coming from the “linen/supplies” room. Also the sink had a bad leak and a puddle would form on the floor. However, the assistant manager’s (Shoquanda) I think I spelled it wrong; but she did everything’s possible to assist me. She went above and beyond while being pulled in different directions to accommodate other patrons. She was the only one working the desk upon my arrival. Kudos to her for not losing her insanity.

Deep clean needed. Found dirt/debris under counters, desk, behind tv system, and in bathroom.

Room had hair in bathtub and there was scratched lotto tickets under the supposed clean sheets

The staff is the only reason this place is not terrible. My room appeared clean and neat. The mini fridge still had food and mold inside. The drawers were broken. The worse part is ROACHES. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, an overnight stay was needed. I stayed because i not mobile and it would have taken too long to get ferunded.

Our first room wasn’t clean at all.Food still in fridge, floors dirty, and bugs on beds. Staff was really nice and apologetic and gave us a different room which was better. But I won’t be coming back.

When I went to check in to the hotel, they gave me a key to a room that had not been made up or cleaned at all. I went back and they gave me another key to a different room and when I tried that, the key didn’t work. I went back a third time and got a new room with a new key and tried again but still the door didn’t open. I went back and they told me I had to really shake and lift up the door handle. I went back for the fourth attempt at a room and finally got in. The room was quite run down and I could hear dogs barking in other rooms all night. It was fine for just two nights but definitely would not recommend.

Tv did not work, door did not lock

The AC filter was very dirty and caused my allergies to flair up. We ended up cleaning it with a toothbrush. The AC was very loud and kept coming on and off. There were no washcloths, the first room they gave us the bed was broken and there was no linen. We luckily had some cleaning wipes with us that we used to wipe off the counters. The area was also very loud. Paint was chipped. The staff was friendly and the TV was good size and had HBO and Showtime though.

Our stay started out with , our room the refrigerator didn’t work, then my sons room next door , he got locked out of his room they changed batteries still no good , the WiFi what WiFi lol , then they moved us to new rooms , his room was full ok , his microwave didn’t work, them our room , had a real strong smell , one bad the frame was broken, and my wife killed two bugs on the wall .

If I could rate it as a zero, I would. The bed springs were broken on one side of the bed. The floors were “weeping”. Yes…weeping. They were constantly wet! When using a towel to try and dry them, the towel was disgusting!! Telling me, the floors were not mopped haven’t been mopped in awhile. My clothes hanging were damp, simply from being in the room. Hairdryer was a piece of crap! Overall… it was GROSS! I will NEVER stay at another Baymont!

The beds were comfortable. But the bathrooms in 2 of the rooms I rented had hair in them. The hot water and cold water in all rooms were mislabeled and when we plugged in the iron it electricuted one of my guest.

Tv didn't work. Frig defrosted in the room. Moved to another room and it smelled like dog

Very poorly designed stair rails. Rooms small with huge furniture and too much of it.

The staff were very kind and helpful in getting me checked in and out. The hotel was okay except that with my room I had to force it open and shut every time I had to leave the room or was just coming back. The TV never worked when I was there either. Overall the stay was fair for the price but could use some improvement in some areas.

The place was quite but the morning lady was rude as hell and refused to give me my cash deposit back until house keeping arrived after we was told that she could go and check herself by 3 different people through our our stay made me late for a funeral because I had to contact customer support and have them call and tell her to do her job

Our room wasn't very clean. The smoke detector had been stolen and the wires were just hanging from the ceiling but hey, the room served a purpose and the staff were very accommodating!!

Upon arrival there was a broken light but as soon as it was reported; staff made arrangements to repair it the next day.

Receptionist morning also night time was very helpful and respectful the room was as the pictures showed the breakfast was a plus

Hotel called a while later after I made the reservation to tell me they were overbooked. First after traveling 40 miles to get to the property and I was already at the property when they called. Not fair Also why did Expedia allow me to book if there was no availability?

Great staff and cheap rooms

The manager was super nice and accommodating! She made sure me and my dog were taken care of. Can’t remember her name right now but she definitely runs the place! Everyone I’ve met that works here was also super sweet and cool as well. There is a younger girl who works during the day who is so sweet and she definitely makes my life easier when paying the stay over fee thing. I just so happened to see her mom as well, who is hilarious. I’ve stayed at a bunch of places in Jacksonville where the staff was rude, rooms were gross, and the price was much higher than this. For the price you’re not going to get a better quality stay in Jacksonville. Don’t see why anyone would go anywhere else! 😭👎

Staff here is awesome, rooms are cozy and it’s super close to everything!

Although having to wait for our room upon arrival due to high turnover the staff was great at getting us into the room as quickly as possible.

The ladies working here both day shift and night shift were amazing and friendly welcoming and kept things under control. The floor was dirty from the beginning because someone dropped a white towel and it was no longer white. So shoes were required. At least one pillow case had a stain on it. When I seen the cleaning ladies carts I didn’t see any fresh clean blankets on it so that makes me wonder… We were there for two nights so I tried not to wonder too much. The coffee station was supplied nicely but the coffee pot didn’t work. The microwave was dirty on the inside top of it. The pool was beautiful the people there seemed very comfortable with semi loud music and alcohol. Although it wasn’t said I do strongly believe the majority of the people I seen stayed there permanently. When we did go to the pool one morning we seen two of the residents argue one hit then it grabbed the attention of one of the employees who stopped it before it became a full fight. So that was entertaining although I was more entertained by the grounds keeper who was a man just watch it and watch the lady break it up. I rated semi low but really the employees were just amazing and I loved the pool. The loud music and hanging out outside of my room I eventually fell asleep. Easy parking nice location. It was really cheap with a good breakfast. Would I stay there again???? I really don’t know. Maybe. I do feel like if I would’ve complained about the alcohol and partying they would’ve stopped it.

Although the hotel was conveniently located, the overall condition of the hotel was poor. The doors didn't close easily. You had to pull it hard or kick it open or closed. The floors were sticky, the countertop on the dresser was broken and poorly repaired instead of replaced. The morning of our departure we found a roach crawling across the floor. We will never return to this hotel.

Solid property, nice people, and quiet.

The staff was terrific. However, we got our key and walked in the room and were hit with a horrible odor. There was dirt all over the bathroom floor, the light was broken, the door to the hotel looked dented like it was kicked in. People were outside blasting music and smoking weed right next to us. Needless to say, we got fully refunded and trekked to a different hotel.

Always try to stay here when in town visiting my son. It's close to camp legeune base, clean, friendly, very reasonable, and complementary breakfast is always good.

The check in was great and fast. The lady up front was very kind and knowledgeable. The room was nice but had a few issues. Could tell the place had not been wiped down well. Then we saw roach crawling across the top of the tv. The breakfast was not that great. Coffee was terrible, juice machine was broke, and the yogurt in the fridge was warm.

Unfortunately, my husband and I’s stay was AWFUL. My husband is in the Marine Corps and I come up to visit periodically, we usually stay at a different hotel, but decided to try this one since it was cheaper. When we first got there and checked in, the room we were given was absolutely trashed and we had to go back up to the desk to be given a new room. Upon entering our new room, there were several issues, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, the sheets were not cleaned well, there was evidence of dirty paw prints (presumably a dogs, I have no issue with pets in hotels, just uncleaned sheets) on the bed, several lights didn’t work, there were bugs, dead and alive that we had to get rid of, it’s clear the room isn’t cleaned throughly as we found a pair of women’s underwear on top of one of the cabinets, the A/C unit leaked and flooded part of our floor, there was a piece of flooring missing, the breakfast wasn’t well, stale cereal, odd tasting eggs and so on, luckily Jacksonville is a beautiful area so we found things to do to spend as little time at the hotel as we could, but it was a truly disappointing and frustrating stay, and we will not be staying again, we were trying to save money on a cheaper hotel, but we learned it is definitely a “get what you pay for” situation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have one good thing to say the bed was comfortable. After the first 2 rooms we said no to due to bugs all over the floor we took the 3rd. But the sink would not drain, the toilet was slow to flush and missing things like hair dryer. Both days went down to breakfast early and they did not have things. Cereal out but no bowls or milk.

First room they gave me had not been cleaned, still had things in it from previous people. Second room the door would not open. Third room was clean but no towels in it and someone had left a vape on the sink counter. Breakfast muffins were stale and dry, biscuits and gravy that i tried had very dried out biscuits. All in all not a good experience with this place, will not be using it again EVER
