It's a safe, quiet, affordable place to stay for a week or two. It's nice to have the little kitchen built in so you can cook some meals. I was impressed at all of the cooking accessories included (pots and pans, knife for cutting vegetables, can opener, cutting board, plates, silverware, dishwasher, etc. The room itself is... okay. The TV is not a smart TV so no Netflix or anything. Everything in there worked just fine, but it's all kind of outdated. It was all pretty clean, but we did see a cockroach in the bathroom. He scurried back under the sink. The water pressure was terrible so showers weren't enjoyable. We talked to people in nearby rooms and they complained about the same thing. The gym is pretty crappy. Even a few dumbbells would make a big difference. but the space in the gym room is limited so might be tough to make a good gym out of it. The staff was very polite. We really enjoyed the complimentary coffee and creamer. Good start to each day of our stay.

I liked that I could see my vehicle from my room. The parking areas are well lighted and safe. Greenville is a college town and can be busy. I have stayed here before and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Would stay again as the price is better than some of the other hotels. Convenient to Hwy 264

Great friendly staff and nicely appointed room. Hotel was in a good location for traveling with dogs as it’s not right on the road. They need to add coffee carafes in the morning. The only thing that made me crazy was that the a/c unit was right next to the couch which was super annoying when it was blowing.

I thought the staff at the front desk was amazing. Very welcoming and attentive. Great experience overall. My only critique would be to do something about the key cards. Seems its often a problem with doors and the cards not working. They had to switch our room b/c of this and then the new room was at times also having issues with the key cards

This hotel exceeded my expectations - I have never stayed at a Candlewood Suites. The room was very spacious, comfortable bed with roomy bathroom, big desk, a recliner and a full kitchen. Nice and quiet, free coffee in the lobby.

I started off unhappy because the floor of our room was quite dirty. I had to purchase some cleaning materials and give it a good scrub. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful, the gym was better than expected, and the bedding was quite comfy.

Stayed for one night. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room smelled damp and moldy. They came in to spray the carpet and drapes. There were bugs in the room and bathroom. Looked like small roaches. The curtains were stained. Looked nice in the photos. Good location and great staff. Disgusting room.

I did not like the roaches crawling on the walls, floor or in the room…period. I had to get on my knees and hand mop the floors because they were sticky. The bathroom door top hinge was missing the screws, so the door would not close correctly. The front desk did accept to fix. We were maintenance would come the next day, that did not happen. When I ask for fresh towels from the cleaning crew on my floor, I was told to go down to the front deck to get more. Not a good visit. Don’t recommend!

The floor to our room was filthy. My shoes stuck to it and I finally got a wet washrag to clean it thinking maybe it was the mopping agent they used but the washrag turned black after washing the floor. The bathroom was really out dated. I feel like they haven’t put much into this hotel as far as upgrades in a really long time. The staff at the front desk was very nice, I just wished our room would have matched. We lost $700 on this stay because we checked out after one night and found another hotel to stay at.

Location was perfect, Staff friendly, but not efficient. Had a auite and the air conditioner only cooled one room. Kitchen table/workspace fell off the wall, Repair was done but nobody cleaned the debris and left scratches on coffee table from the screws. Went to use another blanket from a bag in the closet and there was excrement on the blanket, disgusting. After a heavy rain we saw lots of roaches. Front Desk stated their "Sorry for the inconvenience and offer to add some reward points to our account. Other than that all was ok.

Nothing fancy, but nothing icky. My daughter and I had a one night stay for an event at ECU and this room was perfect. The suite style made it possible for her to get glammed and me to eat breakfast and get ready at the same time. The Walmart market across the street is great for fetching a little snack or drinks. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was great. However, charging for coffee is so short-sighted. Little thing like this will keep me from coming back. In addition, the walls are paper-thin. Could hear the next room "noises" until 2 in the morning.

The bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. A few hairs on the tub, broken toilet paper holder kept falling. The air conditioning worked well except that it only came into the bedroom through a small fan about waist high in the was. Most concerning was that we asked for no service was assured they only service the rooms every 5 days, and the second day someone was in our room, removed all of the towels and put the air up to 78. Not acceptable.. Also they do offer a discount for families of patients at ECU Cancer Center, but couldn’t because we didn’t mention it at check in. And it is not stated on their web page. We just asked at check out. Probably would not stay again. Oh and no breakfast with a room that was over $200.00 a night.

This property was closed to I584 which was the main reason for choosing it. Walmart basically across the street which was convent the next morning. The coffee in the lobby was like syrup at 7am and at that time it should have been fresh.
