The pool was under maintenance and the hot tub. The kids were disappointed, but overall it was a nice stay.

The breakfast was good. In my opinion, there is not adequate parking. I had to park on the side of the building away from the entrance

One elevator was shut down. The other was heavily used by the maids and maintenance. Stood there waiting for a very long time.

Pool was closed early, poor water pressure, & only 1 functioning elevator

Facility is nice. I wish the breakfast options rotated better. After 4 days it was a little old on options. Parking is horrible. If you aren’t in a spot by 8 good luck.

Amazing hotel, but the pool and hottub was out of service. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star experience.

Very large parking lot, convenient to the freeway, excellent customer service, pretty decent breakfast, cleanliness it's always amazing and having a convenience store and coffee stand in the same parking lot.. love it

Stay was very friendly and helpful. Elevators were down, pool was down for maintenance, and the WiFi was definitely struggling. Seems like they were having a lot issues during our stay. If not for that, our stay would have been perfect.

Upon check in the women behind the counter was not kind and was uncourtious. She was short with me and didn’t offer help or directions. Once we got into the room it appeared to be decently clean but the shower was FULL of mold. It was molding from the floor to the ceiling of the shower door. After running the water in the bathroom there was also a banging noice that would happen for a few hours. It happened into most of the night. When I checked out the same women was at the counter as yesterday and I did not feel comfortable talking to her about the standards of the room.

There's bug infestation! I sat just for a few minutes when I got in the room and felt something itchy and something crawling. Good thing I'm really sensitive and saw it right away. It's on my legs and feet attached to my socks. I removed my socks and walked. Every step the bugs literally surfaced from the carpet, and crawled to my feet! I got severe bug bites all over my legs, thighs, few on my arms, and neck. Very red and itchy. Until now, my skin hasn't recovered and I'm worried that the marks are gonna stay. Don't book your stay here. It's disgusting!! It doesn't deserve a single star.

The Hotel was clean and had everything I needed fro my quick one-night stay. Great Staff as well

We arrived got our room, noticed right away the SMELL IN THE HALLWAY FOR OUR ENTIRE STAY! There’s mold in the shower on the calking in the corner. The sink drained Slooooooow. The Bed side closes to the window, the mattress is worn to the point you sleep in a hole. Bad mattress

Continental breakfast was great- but the room was meh/ okay. Bathroom is very small, when you open the door it’s almost touching the toilet lol. Mold in shower + found white hair in our bedding unfortunately. Floors were kind of sticky but overall the stay did its job- just a place to eat and sleep. Great location (close to freeway) and kind staff.

The property is very basic and dated. It looks like they tried at some point to make some updates - they were minimal. Public areas were not kept up. The lobby furniture was dirty and stained and the floor tiles needed mopping. The 3 nights we were there, our second floor hallway was never vacuumed and it looked really terrible. I only saw one housekeeper and she looked overwhelmed. I really felt for her. The rooms and bathrooms are showing their age. The bathroom was very small, the shower is old and dingy, the toilet was very low. Positives - the bed was okay and the room was relatively clean.

The good: The guy working the night shift was very friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast selection was decent. The bad: First impressions are everything and as I was walking down the hallways looking for my room I noticed that the carpets were dirty and hadn't been vacuumed for a while. That made me question how clean is everything else in the hotel.

It's really close to The Cannery and I-5. Room had fridge and microwave and the breakfast was amazing! Sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, good coffee....we loved this hotel! We'll be back!

None of the USB outlets worked to plug in charge a phone or anything. Our couch that was off to the bed had some sort of white stains on them and there was a few of them. Shower door & trim are just slightly covered in mold and a lot of buildup of calcium hard water buildup

I booked a king bed and the double sofa bed for three occupants. When we pulled the sofa bed out, it was not made, completely bare mattress. We searched the room and there was no sheets or blankets. When we inquired with the front desk, we were given a duvet cover, and told there were no blankets. To be clear, there were no sheets, no blankets, no pillows. I gave my second pillow for son to use, and he was cold

Had a room at the end of the building, which meant basically no WiFi. I find that pretty incredible in 2025. Other than that, it’s fine

Great property, great beds; clean, nice dining area. We were in room 128, adjacent to the kitchen. The first and third night there were people in the kitchen; every morning, the kitchen staff woke me up between 5:30 and 7 AM as there was no sound-proofing. I attempted to change rooms without success. Needless to say, it was not pleasant sleeping.

Nice place for a business stay. Very modern and a decent breakfast.

The room I was given was extensively loud. I could hear the elevators, what I’m assuming were the washing machines, some sort of motor running on and off the whole time.

Our room was extremely small. It was very noisy. There is a train that is very loud. It woke us up 3 times during the night. We had a light out and asked for it to be fixed on the first day. We were there three days and it never got fixed.

A lot of noise. The noise isolation is very bad. In the room I stayed in, I could hear the stairwell door slamming very loudly at all times. And also the conversation of other guests passing by in the hallway. The night I was staying there, I woke up startled by someone knocking on the door of the room in front of my room at 2:00 am. The breakfast is very good and the shower is great.

Surprisingly clean, and new looking all around. 2 coffee machines that grind the beans on the spot, and pretty decent breackfast. We even used the hot tub and we are picky about it. The room had a view to Mount Reinier

I ordered a king bed and a pullout sofa. We arrived later in the evening and when we got to the room, there were no linens or blankets for the pullout. My child just slept with me in the bed instead, but you’d think that the linens for the pullout would already be in the room.

Alysha was AMAZING! We had to travel on Christmas and she was so kind and patient and accomodating. We were grateful for her after a long day of travel! The room was clean and crisp and so was the rest of the hotel. We have stayed at this hotel repeatedly and will continue to do so!

The front desk girl working in the mornings was rude and unfriendly. Housekeeping tried to make my room at 7:50am!! Actually opened my door and woke me up. My room was next to conference room and there was loud noises coming from the hall- some type of equipment? Kept me awake both nights.

I locked my passport, and wallet with $300 cash in the safe in our room. I just returned from a missions trip to Africa, and still had these items in my purse and we had tickets to a concert. After returning home, I realized I left the items locked in the safe in my room. I called the hotel and let them know right away. The man I spoke with told me someone else had already checked into the room, but he could go gain access to the safe with a master key. He called me back an hour later and told me the safe was still locked and he was able to obtain my items with the master key. He would lock the items up in the office and I could pick them up the next day. The next morning I got a call from the manager stating he recieved a note about my lost items. I let him know I had called and my items were retrieved by their employee and secured in the office. He then asked if the employee had gone over what items they had. I let him know that he had not specifically, but I had let him know what was in the safe, my passport and wallet with $300 US and when the employee called he said he had retrieved all of my items. He went on to tell me that he had my passport and wallet but no cash. He let me know he would call the employee and discuss when I arrived to pick up my items.When I arrived at the hotel the manager gave my my passport and wallet and let me know I could file a police report for my missing cash, and there was nothing else they could do for me. They STOLE my money

Our stay was to attend the Puyallup fair, great location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff Catilyn she went out of her way to get us an early check in as my friend was not felling well!!

I've stayed here several times and every time its excellent. The staff is great.

My stay wasn't as good as it has been in the past. I was woken at 12:33am by a dog barking and again at 12:53am. I continued to hear people and a dog barking for the next 20 min as I then fell asleep. I had good enteraction with checkin person. She stated that I would be able to get a paper copy of my receipt the next day. The next morning during checkout I asked for a paper copy of my receipt. The two men at the counter said since I was third party I could not get a receipt. I used Hotels.com to order room. I stay at other locations and never have a problem getting a paper copy of my receipt. The counter person was a jerk to me the last two times I stayed at the Sumner, Wa location.

I have stayed at this property many times over the years. The last time was 6 years ago. The hotel has been completely refurbished and looks wonderful So bright and cheerful. Staff was friendly and the breakfast area is so attractive.

Drove to the Seattle area from Alberta (family road-trip), and wanted a quiet place to settle and call home during our stay. This location fitted the bill. I should first note that the staff here (front desk/cleaning/kitchen) were all very friendly, which gave me a great first impression. The cleanliness (in the common spaces and the suites) also was a good sign I booked the right place. Our stay didn't disappoint and validated our positive first impressions. The area was quiet (but easy to get to from Route 167). Staff we met throughout our stay were all polite. One thing we particularly appreciated was the breakfast (as we were disappointed from a Vancouver BC area hotel we were at prior, where breakfast seemed to be an after thought - just yogurt, cereal, and/or toast)... Holiday Inn had great hot breakfast options (eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.) along with a variety of pastries, oatmeal options, cereal, and other options. If you are not satisfied with breakfast here, you have an issue. Their breakfast saved us (time and money) from having to look for a restaurant. Parking was also a non-issue (you are given a piece of paper to place on dashboard). Overall, no issues here. It was a very comfortable stay. Anytime I am in the Seattle area, I will default to this hotel for my stay. If there was one negative thing to say, it was a train on one night that sounded its horn after midnight. But this not the hotel's fault, so I cannot hold this against the hotel. (*****/5)

I had an excellent experience during my stay all thanks to Kristen who was outstanding. She was short on staff and during a busy time was truly professional and efficient. She went above and beyond to make sure that there were no fragrances sprayed in the room I was staying in. When the toilet didn’t function well, she was swift to move us to another room all while multi tasking and helping other guests. So thankful for Kristen! Nick the front office manager was also very helpful and professional who was able to give a lot of local sightseeing information. Solid, clean, tasty breakfast. All around a 5 star experience. Thank you Kristen & Nick!

Convenient, close to highway and 7 Eleven for fuel, water and other essentials. Also, Starbucks in same parking lot. Included Breakfast is a plus for this property.

Horrible experience. Windows bashed out of Truck first night staying there. Staff stated “our parking lot gets hit often” defiantly will not be returning

Very close to highway and good halfway point between Seattle and Tacoma.

Great stay. Clean, good breakfast. Perfect place to stay if heading to the fairgrounds as it’s opposite of the very heavy traffic in morning and evening.

Beds were fine, breakfast was fine. Room and lobby were clean and room was quieter than expected, given that it’s right next to the highway. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is industrial - nothing to explore and nowhere to eat - but safe.

Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel and room clean. Excellent buffet breakfast. Quiet. Restaurant within walking distance few.

The holiday inn express was clean and good condition. Theincluded breakfast coild have been improved, yhe juice machine was oos and the pancake station was oos also.

The breakfast was terrible. Under cooked sausage, the pancake machine kept breaking down, there wasn’t any kid friendly cereal or food options.
