Altitude by Krystal Grand Los Cabos – All Inclusive

The cleanliness of this facility was amazing! The housekeeping actually does a great job. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. Food options were good. Drink options were great. Hotel had different activities everyday. The pools were great as well. The only small downside was that even though there is direct access to the beach from the hotel the beach area outside the hotel was not safe to swim. Unsure if this is year round or just certain times out of the year. Overall great and would definitely return.

Some basics were missing like blenders, 24 hr food and very little evening entertainment. Happy we upgraded to Altitude as the rooftop bar was really nice and breakfast ala carte also nice. Beautiful view from room - due to the upgrade - and grounds/layout was nice.

Gabriel made our stay wonderful! We ended up having to swap rooms the first day, and he helped us to our new room himself. All the staff are kind and patient, and the beach has waves like we'd never seen before. The swim up bar was definitely a highlight!

This resort was one of the more affordable resorts. The location is right on the beach so it was easy to take a long beautiful walk. There’s no swimming (due to crazy waves). The only down side is that the resort has the beach on one side, and the highway close to the other side. The rooms weren’t sound proof, so you’d hear the constant waves crashing and loud traffic. There’s no special nights (white party/silent disco/foam pool party) but you get what you pay for! We sat by the infinity pool all the time and it was great. Lots of lounge chairs in the shade and in the sun. The buffet food was okay, the restaurant food was great!

We arrived at night, outdoor lighting in the garden was very pretty. In the daytime you can see the property needs painting/fixing/maintenance. Not a 5 star, maybe 3 1/2. Food was fine. Other guests either really liked the food or didn’t. Read other reviews about the drinks and I would agree, either drinks were very strong or seemed to have very little alcohol. We are not big drinkers so I didn’t care, after I saw they re-used all the plastic cups which appeared to be rinsed not sanitized I was less interested in having a drink poolside. There was a kids area but I saw very few children. There are very few activities organized …I mean if you have to list your single ping pong table on your website not much is going on here. Front desk staff seemed unhappy, waitstaff and housekeeping were great. My biggest complaint and in 10 visits to all inclusive Mexican hotels I have not had this - there is no evening entertainment, no shows, no magic show, no comedy show, no Vegas show, NOTHING! They have a tiny alley way area they that seats 10 for karaoke or they had someone playing a violin etc. Not enough poolside loungers. Also, the tables in the lobby areas are full of time share salespeople. For the guests who went on the “90 minute” presentation said they were there for 4 hours - for that they got a discounted or free tour. Not much to see in Cabo, the oldest church was built in the 70’s. If you are easily bored organize some things to do as the resort is boring.

Adult pool lounge chairs need to be replaced. Pools need maintenance , tiles missing. Buffet is not up to standard for a property like this. Very limited entertainment.

Great family vacation! Good food, service, fun time. The only bad part was that there is not enough lounge chairs around the pool areas.

This is a great property located in a safe area. We enjoyed every single moment of our stay. The property has direct access to the beach walk, along with a separate adult pool and a general public pool. We loved dining at Moskito The Grill and Japanese Ayami. While the buffet food was good, the service from the waitstaff could be improved. This might have been influenced by the excellent service we received from the Moskito The Grill staff. Last but not least, Paul, our butler, was a wonderful person who made our experience even better. Used uber for your ride cheaper and faster to every where.

The property has a nice rooftop bar area and the adult pool area was nice and quiet. The main pool area looked fun for kids. The Expedia Concierge Service did a great job also.

Let me start by saying Gabriel Avila was an excellent concierge and most of staff was so helpful. The property is the problem. My room would have been nice but it was infested with roaches. I had to purchase my own bug spray just to skill the vermin. Housekeeping was sent to my room and we were told because we had room service that enticed the roaches. No the floor was infested because when they switched me to another room on the hall, it had roaches too! I asked the hotel to provide me with a partial refund since we did eat and drink there and they decorated my door for my bday. The manager said he could not refund me but instead offered me a 3 night stay for free. Now why would I go back to a hotel that has roaches! I don’t know if I am able to put the video and pictures on Expedia but I definitely will on Trip Advisor.

I just want to start off my saying Thank you so much for having me BelAir sunclub Hotel Cabos . I appreciate your hospitality and the staff they were amazing. They made feel so welcomed and love there I had freaking blast ! The property was amazing and beautiful the view from hotel room was breathtaking. Therefore the only thing I think need be worked on is the food, it didn’t taste that good at all. I would like better tasting food. I also would’ve like if things stayed upon until 12am instead of 10am at night like restaurants and adults pools. I don’t think that very Inclusive at all inclusive hotel and how much money I pays for such. Lastly cleaninesss my sheet in my room were dirty and it took the hotel whole day to change. I had to ask twice to get my sheet change so I didn’t really like that. Other than those couple things that can all be worked on and fixed. I had a wonderful stay at the property. I want to say thank you all so much for my stay and I shall be back again!

We loved all the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Always helped with our luggage and answered any questions. Our room was just ok. Didnt have hot water, and shower pipes were leaking from the ceiling. But it was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. We absolutely loved the pools and restaurants as part of the Krystal grand resort! Overall we absolutely loved our vacation here.

We had such a great time meeting other guests from all over. Food was great. Views were incredible. Staff was amazing. We had a swim up garden view room and was so nice .. hope to be back soon!

We arrived on thrusday 18 de room wasn't ready to be occupied, the refrigerador wasn't working they had no soap and toilet paper we were on third floor and the elevator never worked, they never cleaned the room until sundey when we asked very bad experience I'll never use expedia again...

Super clean, friendly staff, altitude worth it, and the best view from our hotel room in the altitude tower. Daniela was the best and we loved the senses restaurant :) Will definitely come back!

Loved our room with a swim out pool, exactly what I was looking for a relaxing getaway. Resort was no crowded and amenities were available for use at all times.

We had a great stay at Krystal Grand Los Cabos. Check-in was smooth despite a delayed flight, and we were upgraded from the Bel Air section to a spacious room with a partial ocean view. Housekeeping was excellent, cleaning daily and restocking the mini-fridge without being intrusive. While our balcony lacked outdoor furniture, we used chairs from the dining table, so it wasn’t a big issue. The food was decent. The Mexican restaurant was our favorite, and the poolside snack bar had great lunch options like burgers, nachos, and pizza. Although the resort seemed short-staffed, the team worked hard and delivered great service. It was also easy to explore local dining options in San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. The staff were fantastic. Poolside service was efficient, and the bartenders at the lobby and sports bars were friendly, even during busy times. The entertainment staff made the stay memorable with fun activities like aqua aerobics, bingo, and a Super Bowl party. Nighttime entertainment could use more variety, though karaoke nights were enjoyable. The location is excellent, just a short drive from the airport. The sunrises were breathtaking and visible from almost anywhere in the resort. The beach was beautiful but unsafe for swimming due to strong currents. Walking along the shore and spotting whales was unforgettable, and the “whale bell” at the buffet was a charming touch. Overall, Krystal Grand lives up to its 4-star rating, and we’d happily return.

Room was a one bedroom suite 750 sq ft. Run down furniture , small bathroom air conditioner sounded like it was getting ready for take off. Rooms are along the highway and all you hear is traffic noise all the time. Room is nothing special maybe a step up from a hostel. Food options limited , buffet sucked , sit downs were just okay. Good thing for the staff it’s about the only thing that made it all right. Older run down property which is charging an arm and a leg , you can find better properties fro same money. This one would be a 3 star at best.

We get there with are family had to wait 40 minutes for someone to check us in then put us in two of the worst rooms they had by the garbage cans that a truck came every morning at 7 o’clock and woke everybody up. The toilet didn’t work properly. Had somebody come up twice to fix it still didn’t work. The shower was plugged holes in the floor in the bathroom from the tile balcony door did not shut properly are open properly. The food at the buffet was very poor and limited, and the service was not very good. and before we left the air conditioner stopped working and the TV shut down. I would not recommend the hotel to anybody.

Lack of communications, limited english, not oriented front desk. For those Expedia travelers double check the hotel advertisement before booking. As we booked Belair Sunclub hotel but they put us in Krystal Grand..

It was quite an eventful process to get checked it. Staff was helpful but we arrived at noon and got a room about 4. We were able to use the property until we checked in which was nice.

We had a very good vacation!! Our concierge, Gabriel, was amazing!! Upstairs bartender made the most AMAZING mojitos!! Food was delicious and lots of choices!!Our only complaint was housekeeping!! They “missed” our room several times. All in all I would highly recommend staying here!! !

We Stayed at the BelAir Sun Club for one week. The baggage handling staff carried our bags, we were greeted with welcome drinks, the concierge upgraded our room to a nicer one with a better view for free and all of the staff were friendly. The hotel is in a great location. Close walking distance to money exchange, OXXO convenience store, around 2.5km to Walmart and 4km to lots of shopping at the Art Walk in San Jose Del Cabo. We had a great trip and would stay at this resort again. Thanks, Gabriel for taking great care of us! Brad.

We stayed at the Bel Air/Krystal Grand in San José del Cabo for three nights in late April/early May. It’s a family-friendly, budget-conscious resort with nice pools and kid areas, and thankfully not a party scene—quiet and relaxed. Beach access was great, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The buffet was decent, rotating between Mexican and Italian themes, though options for picky eaters (like our 9-year-old) were limited. Room service nuggets were $15 with tip. Outside of the buffet, dining was underwhelming—the grill restaurant served a thin “New York steak” with five fries, two wings, and tiny ribeye skewers. We laughed and went back to the buffet. We initially checked into the Bel Air side, but both pullout sofas were broken and one bathroom latch didn’t work. Front desk staff there (notably Tania) was unhelpful and dismissive. We were eventually moved to the Krystal Grand side, which was more spacious but oddly laid out—we had to move furniture to use beds and dodge a low-hanging chandelier. Overall, we had a decent stay and enjoyed the beach and pool. The resort isn’t luxurious, but it’s fine if you’re after a mellow family trip. That said, hospitality on the Bel Air side could use improvement, and next time I’d check more reviews beyond just Expedia.

We have booked with BelAir and ended up at Krystal Grand..don't know why but I guess its okay. Either way we won't go back. Our rooms were Very,very noisy.not only because the highway was very close but because of all the noise people-staff from hotel were making while doing their chores. Food was ok. I got sick from my stomach. Lots of flies around the food area. Only once we were able to eat at the Italian restaurant and it was a joke. Missing a lot of plates from menu. Almost all of the staff was nice. The one who got our trust was this youg guy from the pool named Urias, Daniel and Cecilia from the Buffet O were really really kind too. Urias was very friendly and he even recognized us from the distance and always wave at us. I didn't like the area because there was construction on the highway. And everything was very far away. So we wont go back soon. We have stayed at better hotels.

Everything we could possibly needed was covered. Breathtaking room view. Clean room and facilites. Courteous staff. Buffet was excellent especially for breakfast and lunch, always staffed well. The ceviche did not disappoint. The sushi restaurant was also very good. Daniel in the Cafe and Alfredo in the bar were tremendous at taking care of us. Excellent location into San Jose del Cabo, short uber rides to good swimming beaches. Definitely reccomended.

The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. However, I got disappointed with the food..few options to choose from ( besides buffet), very small serving and not tasty.

Good food (options and quality), good service and activities, room was spacious. Liked the pool options and was kid friendly with a small kid slide pool and kids club. Great stay overall!

Had a great stay here at the BelAir. We actually got upgraded to the Krystal Grand along with some friends we went there with. The food and drinks were excellent. Overall had a great vacations and would recommend this resort.

First off, I would love to give a huge thank you and appreciation to the care and attentiveness from Gabriel, from the front concierge. He was able to answer all of our concerns and worries before our arrival, during our stay, and even for the checking out process. Truly was a pleasure and made our vacation plans much smoother. The patiences and helpful hand from his service made the stay safe and like another home away from home. Thank you! For an all-inclusive package, the food for the week was limited (from my knowledge) to the “O buffet,” for most meals like breakfast and lunch. Which isnt so bad, considering it would change from day to day. It was cool that dinner is open for every restaurant on the resort; however, to have the best experience early arrival is recommended otherwise you might wait longer than expected. The drinks, non-alcohol were much better than the alcohol ones. The resort is family friendly for sure. There is an adult only pool, spa has to be booked in advance, wasnt able to visit the gym, but there is plenty to explore if stay for a short period. Overall, i would come back.

The restaurant the Grill is very underwhelming for the time you'll wait to get a table and to order. Don't expect your steak to be tender. I got half a fork worth of carrot puree with my steak main course. I feel bad for anyone who spent the extra 2600 pesos on the tomahawk steak. Or the 2800 for steak and lobster.
