The rooms are dirty and aged. There were smudges, stains and marks on the walls everywhere. The chair and couch had nasty food and something on them. The pool was closed all morning when we had planned to swim. Very disappointed.

Was going to be a great memorial day weekend until i noticed a constant drip in the ceiling tile above the pool. I informed the front desk after we got out of the pool since nobody was available and my kids were having a good time i felt if there was a danger they would informed us and the staff seemed like they were all busy on the second floor .we went to our room and had food delivered and the pool had a closed sign on the door i was alarmed why. I called the front deak but our room phone didnt work so i used my cell . I was informed that a room on the second floor had a sink or toilet backed up and had been leaking into the pool. I almost threw up me my wife and my 2 boys were swimming in waste water for the last 2 and half hours . I was told this and hung up. I packed all of kur stuff up and proceededto leave and talked to 2 different people at the front desk askining for a refund and they shrugged there shoulders ans said id have to wait 7 to 14 days . They said they were reopening the pool in a few minutes if i would like to stay . I threw up and demanded a refund ..ooh healthcode violations and safteu is not their priority. .

A fine stay for single night. The property has signs up that they are in the middle of renovations. Our room (king suite with hot tub) had not been updated yet, but it was fine with only cosmetic issues - cracked tiles, not perfect caulk & grout lines, etc. Only minor complaint is that there were several youth sport teams and families staying so it was loud and chaotic in the halls, pool, breakfast area. But that is more of an issue of poor parenting than the fault of the hotel.

Plenty of dining options nearby. My main complaint would be the bed. It was super hard. The property is in need of a refresh. It’s very dated. I would stay there again.

The pool and hot tub were closed due to a problem with the ceiling. This did not appear to be a new issue, so I wish they had notified us in advance to give us the option to book elsewhere. The beds were concave in the middle and none of us slept very well, but the rooms were clean and reasonably quiet.

Fresh fruit and cookies to grab upon arrival we're appreciated. Friendly receptionist. Room was clean and beds comfortable. The pool and hot tub were warm. Slightly dirty as we found some hair floating in both and we went swimming at 8 am so would expect it to be cleaner Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. Staff was friendly. Even the staff doing the upgrade work were kind and helpful. I would stay here again.

Our first room we found a bed bug and numerous crumbs in both of the beds. The room also had a weird smell. We ended up getting moved and the next room was better but had a broken chair that ended up cutting my son. Front desk was nice at check out and took my info saying they would call me back. Absolutely no word from them. They said they would refund me and then would not contact back hotels.com to give me the refund or answer my calls.

The room was disgusting. The red armchair in the front room was covered in what looked quite exactly like dried sexual fluids. When we opened the freezer, there was loos ice and blood in there. There were no other suites for us to go to, so the poor front desk attendant, Skye (who was the best part about the hotel) had to load up a different refrigerator on the trolley and replace the refrigerator in the room by herself. I couldn’t help because I have physical deficiencies. Poor Sky was covered in thick dust when she pulled it out and dust went everywhere. Furthermore, the fire alarm went off three times in the very early morning (I was told it was a wiring problem). I tried to speak with the manager who was not there. I left my number with the front desk attendant. I still have not been contacted almost a week later. Ps. We were also told that wasn’t the first blood issue the front desk had to daa was l with that day.

The door from the parking lot was open for anyone to come in/out without a key. The room had a bad smell (mold/mildew)…but then so did the hallways. The bathroom had large areas of mold along the tub.

The first room we were in the air conditioner the belt sounded like it was going, they quickly put us in a new room. The second room the bed was hard as all get out. The staff there is friendly and in honesty if the bed was more comfortable we would always choose this hotel. We come to Peoria 2-3 times a year.

We had a soccer team on our floor that was loud and disrespectful from 10 pm until 1 am. Running races down the hall, shouting outside the rooms by parents and kids. NO GOOD!

Checked in to find out the water was off and would be off for a few hours. When the water was finally turned back on, there was no hot water. We were in town for a wedding and several family and friends of the couple were staying at the hotel as well. We all came back to the hotel gross and in need of showers after helping set up the wedding venue. But there was not a drop of hot water in the hotel. The staff told us they were sold out and had lots of guests using the water at the same time and that’s why it wasn’t hot. That is not a valid excuse. If a hotel cannot comfortably provide hot water for all of its guests, they should be shut down. No discounts for the inconvenience we’re offered and nothing was ever done to fix the problem. Several of us complained and were met with shrug of the staff’s shoulders, and zero apologies, only ridiculous excuses with no merit. This is a small hotel and this should not have been an issue. For the all the money they made over the weekend being sold out and not providing any type of discounts for failing to provide a basic nessesity that everyone staying at a hotel expects to have access to, I hope they at the very least invest in a new water management system. Having worked in hospitality for over 2 decades, I was shocked at how poorly this was handled by staff.

Check-in was smooth & the front desk staff was friendly & very accommodating. Unfortunately, there was no mention of the renovations going on during our stay. The price for the overall state of the hotel & smell of the paint was a bit much in my opinion. The one detail which made this an okay experience was the attitude of the staff. I cannot say enough about the politeness, care, & professional service from every member of the staff we encountered, from the front desk to the maintenance & housekeeping, all were very friendly & pleasant. The breakfast is well worth visiting, also. David ran a tight ship, keeping everything fresh & friendly, which made breakfast both days a fantastic experience. I'll definitely wait until the renovations are complete, but I shall give this place another shot. It's in a good location & plenty of services are just minutes away.

Staff, breakfast and David who attended the breakfast room. He was very polite, when he let some younger girls know they needed shoes when they ate. Kept the tables clean and the food well stocked and the coffee hot and fresh!! Clean linens and hot tub room was great!

The breakfast was included and surprisingly delicious. Also if you are one who likes to sleep in the timing for breakfast isn't super early like normal. Didn't get to use the pool/hot tub but it was also there. The bed was nice and comfortable. The shower was clean and plenty of hot water! All around a good stay.

The Breakfast was the best since before covid. We travel cross Country as a family of 5 at least once a year. This facility & the one bedroom double queen room more than met our requirements. Many dining choices nearby. Staff very friendly & helpful.

The place was filthy and very noisy due to children and teenagers running around the hotel until 11pm. This was not the staffs fault and the one employee on duty was overwhelmed with everything (kids coming to the desk to ask for things every 5 minutes. Trashing the pool area, etc). The room itself was clean but shows its age... The breakfast was ok but it took forever. As the eggs and sausage were emptied, it would take 10-20 minutes for it to be refilled. Overall, I was unimpressed and wont stay here again.
