The Blue Magnolia Lodge: Luxury Retreat on Lake Whitney with Hot Tub, Fire Pit, and Private Cove!

We needed a large home that was clean, up-to-date, and private for a large family birthday celebration. This place was spot-on with a great view!.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home--it's a beautiful place and worked great for our group. The house itself was comfortable, well-kept, and we had a great overall experience. That said, there were a couple of minor issues worth noting. We were especially looking forward to using the hot tub, but unfortunately we couldn't get it to heat up and didn't find any instructions to help troubleshoot. It was a bit of a disappointment since that was one of the reasons we chose this property. Also, there was a very friendly stray cat that spent a lot of time around us whenever we were outside. While it was incredibly sweet, several members of our group have cat allergies, so it made it a bit challenging to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces. The view of the lake was obstructed by brush and trees unless you were on the second floor deck, and the road leading to the house is tricky to navigate. Overall, though, we had a great stay and would still recommend this property to others!

This was the perfect home away from home. They had all the amenities you can like of. From kitchen appliances to games, just what a family need when traveling. Great host that made sure everything was handled with care.

The view of the lake was beautiful.
