Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were clean and well appointed. We had the Panoramic Room, which lived up to it's name ... gorgeous views of the lake. A barstool height table and chairs would work better on the balcony, though. The only thing lacking is a pool. That would make this hotel absolutely perfect.

The hotel staff were so friendly, helpful and informative. The little extras that the hotel provided like complimentary mini bar in our room ( no spirits but still a great perk) and the free hot drinks station in the foyer was just the job after a day out ( not to mention the free sweets and popcorn). We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the food was delicious and service was great. Only downside was lack of inside lounge bar to unwind or have a nightcap . Location of hotel was excellent for the activities that we wanted to do , including visiting the Freddie Mercury statue which was on my wife’s bucket list. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel .

Great location on the water! Rented a boat for an hour. Nice upper deck. Free popcorn, juice, etc. Nice hot tub on upper deck. Very close to train station, bus station and ferry. Recommend eating at Coco Mama on the water! Easy walk from hotel along waterfront! Visited castle, Charlie Chaplin house, Olympic museum, outside of United Nations in Geneva. Don’t go to casino… unfair rules for black jack!

Mona Montreux was the best hotel experience we had while in Switzerland! Its location was ideal! 5 minute walk from train, right on the promenade near restaurants. The hotel was spotless, there were a lot of complimentary perks: bike and stand up paddle boards free of charge, free bottles of water and iced tea while on the sun roof/jacuzzi area, free popcorn and coffee/ cappuccino in lobby. Nice bathrobe and slippers included. Room was beautiful! And the view was amazing of lake Geneva. The front desk staff was wonderful! One small issue was our room wasn’t ready at check-in time but that was ok, the staff held our bags and we went to visit vineyards. Would highly recommend Mona Montreux!!!!!

Beautiful hotel. Some really cool amenities like a hot tub, candy bar, and free mini bar. The only thing we weren’t happy with was the room we got. We payed for a lake view and saw trees as they put us on the 1st floor. The bed was also uncomfortable as it was a Murphy bed. So low and rock hard.

Great location with amazing views. On a busy road but this didn’t bother us. Friendly, helpful staff, especially Cesar on reception at check in. Free hot drinks, pop corn and sweets in the lobby. Complimentary wine, chocolates and drinks in the mini bar were a very nice surprise. Decent gym with cardio machines, free weights and a cable machine but no air conditioning which meant it was very hot! Nice looking sauna and hamas area although we didn’t use these. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful hotel in walking distance to train, shopping and restaurants. Felt extremely safe. Only bad experience was trying to do laundry; only 1 washer/dryer so hard time trying to get a load in. Once I did the dryer wasn’t working.

One of the best views in any hotel we have stayed at. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast selection. Good to have the sauna and hot tub on site. Easy access to local area.

Beste Lage direkt an der Promenade. Das Hotel selbst ist jetzt kein schöner Bau aber die Zimmer haben eben fast alle einen Balkon mit Seeblick. Der Empfang war herzlich, César war fantastisch. Das Zimmer hatte wie gewünscht Holzboden, da wir mit Hund reisten. Leider war alles etwas schrabbelig und in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben diverse schwarze, lange Haare der „Vorbewohner“ gefunden (auf dem Bett und im Bad) und die Sauberkeit war nur eine 5/10. Das Zimmer war gut isoliert, das Bett sehr weich aber ok. Alles in allem war es gut und ok.

From the train station to the hotel there is a very long staircase going down to the street where the hotel located, if you have luggage you need to go a long way to find an elevator. We stayed four nights in this hotel. There are some ( about seven ) staircases before the reception desk, as seniors we had to bring our luggage up, and nobody offered to help. The receptionist (the older one) had a long face and looked very serious when we checked in, he gave us two vouchers saying that we could have two free drinks while we stay, turned out that we had to eat in the hotel restaurant then we could use it. Our room is super small but has a balcony facing the lake, and the view is beautiful. Outside our room is an outdoor restaurant/platform, and it was very loud when there was an event. The hotel has a jacuzzi but the water is just a little bit warmer than body temperature, not warm enough or a comfortable temperature. As a four star hotel there is no refrigerator in the room. There was a young lady receptionist who was nice to us when we checked out, and we think she is the only one who cares about her job and the customers. Overall we are not very happy about the stay.

Staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. The room was light, clean, had drinks and toiletries! Had a great sleep apart from people screaming on the street. The free coffee and sweets were a great touch and when we left they provided bottled water. I wish i had time for the sauna and steam! Across the road from Montreux train station and a bus stop right outside the hotel. Free local travel with the riveria card too! Cannot fault this hotel. Would reccomend to all x

Our room was clean with a view of the lake! It was spacious enough for three people to comfortably move around. There was complimentary water, juice and beer in the fridge. The staff was friendly, the food was very good The hotel’s location to the Christmas market and train station was ideal!

The hotel as a whole is fine. The front desk is very courteous and the location on the lake is pretty. Upon checking into our room it was very hot. We turned air all the way down. When we came back it was still hot. We changed rooms which took awhile. The next room had a terrible smell. Initially thought it was bc the air wasn’t on. Late that night we came back and the smell was awful. We figured out it was coming from the pipe in the bathroom sink. We plugged sink & filled with soapy water. We informed front desk next morning. Nothing was done to fix it. We asked that we be compensated for our inconvenience and two nights in a foul smelling room. They were very apologetic and said they would tell the manager as soon as he returned and he would get in touch. It has now been two days and I have heard nothing from the manager. I have traveled around the world and have never had to switch rooms. We stayed in 4 other hotels while in Switzerland and all were wonderful. This hotel however was not one of them based solely on our rooms.

We felt like we were tricked! The room was incredibly small. The covers didn’t even cover our bodies they were so small! The shower was ridiculous. The shower head kept moving down while trying to shower. We booked two days but refused to stay the second day. We moved resorts first thing in the morning! We didn’t get our money back for the second day but it was so bad that we didn’t care. We just needed to leave. Best advice don’t do it!!

The setting of the hotel is special except the guests can be heard closing the doors and even talking in the corridors. During my stay there were families living near me and they didn't keep their volume down.

Fun and stylish hotel right on the Lake. Easy walking to Funky Claude's, Freddy's Statue, the pier or casino. We stayed in the Cosy Mona, so we had a balcony overlooking the water - fantastic views! Only drawbacks - bathroom was SMALL, like really small. & Elevators are also quite small, but there's two and they move very quickly! But 2 people and bags is pretty much full any more people trying to get on is quite packed!

Five star hotel at a three star price. Everything about the Mona was superb. Directions to the hotel were clear. It’s a short walk from the rail station, right on the Montreux lake walk, and 5 minutes from the ferry landing. Staff was very helpful, helped us with our luggage and provided tips and information. They provided a room upgrade without us asking or knowing. The room was very large with ample space. The view was magnificent with a large, amazing balcony. The minibar was stocked and all complimentary. The hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Mona had unlimited coffee drinks in the lobby, so we ended the night with a hot chocolate and latte on our balcony. My only regret is I didn’t book another night or two. Next time.

It’s a short walk from the rail station, right on the Montreux lake walk, and 5 minutes from the ferry landing. Staff was very helpful, helped us with our luggage and provided tips and information. They provided a room upgrade without us asking or knowing. The room was very large with ample space. The view was magnificent with a large, amazing balcony. The minibar was stocked and all complimentary. The hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Mona had unlimited coffee drinks in the lobby, so we ended the night with a hot chocolate and latte on our balcony. My only regret is I didn’t book another night or two. Next time.

Hotel is in a great location in Montreax right on the lake. The staff were amazing. Romaine who checked us in was simply superb and all hotel staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was high quality with plenty of choice available. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent breakfast. Many options. Made to order omelets. Restaurant also excellent. Amazing views. We were upgraded from a “cosy Mona” to a lower floor panorama room. Many windows that opened for a refreshing breeze. You could almost step right into the lake from our balcony. Bluetooth speaker with good sound plus a comfortable bed and lots of room. Staff offered great service plus help with luggage especially down front steps of building. Easy to get to hotel from train station - follow the blue line on the sidewalk.

The free coffee and sweets were a great touch and when we left they provided bottled water. I wish i had time for the sauna and steam! The hotel as a whole is fine. The front desk is very courteous and the location on the lake is pretty. Upon checking into our room it was very hot. We turned air all the way down. When we came back it was still hot. We changed rooms which took awhile. The next room had a terrible smell. Initially thought it was bc the air wasn’t on. Late that night we came back and the smell was awful. We figured out it was coming from the pipe in the bathroom sink. We plugged sink & filled with soapy water. We informed front desk next morning. Nothing was done to fix it. We asked that we be compensated for our inconvenience and two nights in a foul smelling room. They were very apologetic and said they would tell the manager as soon as he returned and he would get in touch. It has now been two days and I have heard nothing from the manager. I have traveled around the world and have never had to switch rooms. We stayed in 4 other hotels while in Switzerland and all were wonderful. This hotel however was not one of them based solely on our rooms.

Hotel tries to be glitzy but has forgotten genuine attention to guest services. Only one employee extended kind service — bartender from Belgium. Thank you for making us feel at home. // We arrived at 1pm and, understandably, our room was not ready. We were told to come back at 3pm. At 3pm, again, told us room was not ready. An answer we would not accept and told front desk. In my opinion, the hotel doesn’t want to check in guests before scheduled time. We saw many people told the same prior to 3pm checkin. Bathroom extremely small. No place to hang towels to dry. Eco-friendly NO. Asked for silverware and told they didn’t have any!!??? What??? They have a restaurant. This hotel was amazing and exceeded all expectations! Amazing location, right next to train station and bus stops. Right on the lake with fabulous views of the town and mountain. Breakfast was an add on, a little expensive, but so worth it. A buffet with a ton of options to choose from and the view during breakfast makes up for it! Employees were all so kind and helpful. The coffee machine available to everyone at all times was a hit! Free bikes to ride around the lake! Very hip, chill, fun, vibey hotel!

The hotel staff were so friendly, helpful and informative. The little extras that the hotel provided like complimentary mini bar in our room ( no spirits but still a great perk) and the free hot drinks station in the foyer was just the job after a day out ( not to mention the free sweets and popcorn). We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the food was delicious and service was great. Only downside was lack of inside lounge bar to unwind or have a nightcap . Location of hotel was excellent for the activities that we wanted to do , including visiting the Freddie Mercury statue which was on my wife’s bucket list. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel .

We had a nice family room w/gorgeous views, but the restaurant was closed the entire time, so we did not really get what we paid for. Without basic food, we might as well have stayed in a motel. They were only two tiny operable elevators during my stay in this 10+ floor hotel, so the wait times when going down were bad. I just took the stairs, but for my elderly parents, they had to wait each time. Staff were nice and helpful.
