Pool and hot tub permanently closed but hotel amenities has indoor pool listed. Disappointment.

The staff was TOP NOTCH. Check in and check out was extremely pleasant. 4 stars because the treadmill didn’t work and the elliptical worked but the computer on it was shot. One of the main reasons I picked hotel was for the gym. Some cosmetic issues in room but nothing to worry about. I’d gladly stay again.

Swimming pool was not open, and one of the two elevators was out of service. Additionally, the address is the same as a street in York.

Treadmill was sticking in the belts and I almost fell off backwards because it would go forward the stick and go backwards the forwards again. We notified the front desk. Handles on the bicycle and elyptical machines are rusty at the connection to the machines. Left elevator would not respond when hitting the button to go to the 3rd floor or vice versa to go you floor 1 from 3. It worked sometimes. Breakfast was really nice. The room was excellent. TV only worked once in the room. Notified front desk.

Very courteous staff, plenty of parking, large tv and close to shopping centers.

We chose this location because of its proximity to York ExpoCenter and convenient to other restaurants. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast could be better but still good. I liked that they have lemon packets available by the tea/coffee area. The shower’s water pressure is very good and Dove toiletries were provided. The room is quite dated and the beds squeaked. The pool area looked dreary and seems to be under construction with a piece of wood covering the smaller area of the pool. Gym is small.

Outside had a lot of garbage and no where to walk the dog. Elevator broke while I was there and the front automatic door stuck closed on us a few times

Great service. Pool and spa closed! Coming from Alaska,I was really looking forward to going swimming. I was extremely disappointed!!! No mention of this on their website. No tv guide,no cups in the room for risining mouth after brushing your teeth,etc. Continental breakfast not so good. I checked out early and moved to another hotel. For the price I would not recommend this property!

Room smelled very musty and door latch was missing. Breakfast was intolerably cold.

The hotel was fairly impressive for the money on both outside and inside. The room included a mini fridge, microwave and bathtub. However, house keeping needs to step up it's game as they were some toe nail clippings on the rug and some black mold on the bathtub caulking. Interrupted satelite TV signal was annoying, but WIFI seemed to work well. A lightbulb in the room flickeded and needed to be replaced and there was a nightstand on only one side of the bed. Extremely nice staff. No pool but there was workout room. And complimentary breakfast was better than a lot of other hotels.

Plus: room was clean and bug free.. TV worked well, A/C worked well, Shower head worked great...common areas and hallways clean....outside was well-kept..lighting all worked Negative: large permanent unsightly stain in tub that did not come up with scrubbing.....some stains and burn marks in carpet.....alarm clock did not work at all.....

The room had a very bad musty smell as soon as you opened the door. Also the room was very dirty. There was hair in most corners of the room and bathroom. There was dried urine and hairs on the toilet seat, dried soap scum and tooth paste in the sink showing it obviously had not been cleaned after the last guests. Coffee pot and Ice bucket were dusty. Mini fridge had crumbs and dried liquids leftover someone else. There was some kind of a white chunky spill half dried up in front of the fridge. The maid area was directly across from our room where all the doors were kept open while the workers argued and cursed loudly. Very very disappointed in this hotel, the pictures were obviously not current.

Stayed 2 nights because it was affordable and decently convenient to the area. I’ll start first by saying the staff were all friendly and seemed to be doing the best they could with what they have. I could have used without the loudly complaining about each other in the halls. The condition of the hotel was beyond disappointing. More than just desperately needing to be renovated, everything felt dirty. The hotel room floor was sticky in places, the bathroom had literal dirt (I HOPE) streaks on the walls and all over the floor, the grout was cracking and black, the faucets and shower heads were all in desperate need of a scrubbing. In addition, the breakfast buffet left A LOT to be desired and we had to ask for things to be replaced several times. The exercise equipment room’s elliptical and stationary bike were both broken. Overall, I would exp at this to be priced as a motel instead of a hotel. Hopefully they are able to renovate and get a deep cleaning.

Staff was very friendly, but the room had not been dusted in a very long time. Top of curtains and lamp shades had thick dust on them.

Some of the staff knew their job and were good but others did not and made checking out very frustrating. The hotel said had just upgraded their rooms and the pillows were massive and extremely uncomfortable. We asked for others and were given old ones the staff told us. At least you could rest your head on them. GPS had trouble finding the place for us and our guests.

The only concern is the curtains in the room. They arent able to be fully closed. There are sheer panels and the solid curtains couldn't be pulled across. If you need dark to sleep you atent going to get it here. I also cant comment on the breakfast offered as I didn't take part.

Breakfast did not have simple meat option such as boiled eggs/bacon/ham - also yogurt was not in individual serving pots, but bulk poured into big bowl to scoop out (open to easy spoling, contamination, etc). Hotel smelled 'damp.' Worst was being placed by stairwell I assume because I booked through 3rd party, but stairwell door and all room doors are heavily weight and slam extraordinally loud when closing. Stairwell slammed only once or twice before I retired - but looudest next to room. Later, after ebing awake since 4am to travel, was awoken several times after 1am due to guests few doors down running between rooms frequently. Worst sleep while exhausted.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. the shower pressure was great. We did hear some traffic noise on the side we were put. Breakfast was OK but could have had more options. Overall for the price we were pleased with the hotel.

We went early for pool n hot tub. Found that it was broken. The. The light from hotel shined soooooo bright in our window. We got no sléep. No curtains to shut. Sheer only

Needs renovation. Aged property. Poor entrance from main road. Staff never cleaned roon day to day or made beds. Poor service. Staff not helpful. Internet didn't work for Samsung phones. Poor internet connection. Breakfast bar food was synthetic, poor quality. Coffee was ok. Cereal ok.

First night one of the beds was terrible so I asked the Manager the next morning if something could be done. When we returned to the room at 6pm, the mattress had been changed which a huge improvement. Thanks to the Manager on duty and the Wingate staff.

When we first arrived we went to the front desk, which had no one available. We went back to the car after waiting a few minutes, then called in. When the lady answered she was rude “I was in the bathroom”. Completely understandable, a sign would have been nice and maybe a better tone. Went in, she was extremely rude, not personable, not welcoming, almost like she was annoyed to do her job. Hospitality was not great. The room was clean, breakfast was fine. Plan to hear car horns going off several times in a row for about 10 minutes in the middle of the night, and hear people walking down the hallway talking loudly. Would I go back? Definitely not.

Check in was easy and all of the staff was very friendly.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel and this time was even better than the 1st. Pam and the rest of the staff was solid and caring.

The employee that checked us in was quite rude and never even said hello. The gentleman checking us out however, was wonderful! He was cheerful and friendly. The young woman who checked us in should benefit from some customer service training

I called on Saturday morning to cancel my Saturday reservation, if possible, because of a last-minute change of plans. I was told that I could not do that but that the front desk manager would try her best to get me a refund and she would talk to the general manager on Monday. And she would call me back. I never received a phone call Monday, and had to call back Tuesday morning, only for the GM to tell me that even if he refunded me, Expedia probably would not. I inquired about a possible credit for future use and was also told that was not a possibility. I will make sure not to book with this company again. Highly recommend you don’t book them through Expedia either, as it will become Expedia that’s the problem if a last minute change/problem arises. Both the front desk manager and general manager were polite. I’ve learned my lesson though. The recommendation is that you book directly through them every time. Don’t use a third-party site. Strangely enough, I had the same experience with Hilton and they were able to accommodate a refund. I guess it depends on the hotel chain and how much they want to do to ensure guests return to their hotel for future bookings.

The staff was very friendly. The shower was excellent. The heater was old and noisy and made it difficult to sleep with it on. The breakfast was much better than most hotels. Very congested area though.

This hotel is very clean and it is convenient to i-83 and plenty of restaurants shopping and entertainment close by. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. The staff is very professional and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Close to US 30 and I 83. Clean and neat. Friendly staff at check in.

Everything about the hotel itself was fine. The problem is that leaving the hotel is very difficult. There are two exits. One exit allows you to go only north on George Street. The other allows you to go only west on US30. If you want to goo in the opposite direction you have to make a risky Upturn, In my opinion this is totally unacceptable. I felt in danger various times.

Checking in at 1230 was quite an adventure. Room was clean and in good condition overall IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF THERE WAS SOAP IN THE SHOWER !! Breakfast was also nothing to talk about... some of the worst sausage links I've had.

Clean well maintained facility. The breakfast was good, but not exceptional. The eggs looked like pancakes, a little dry, and didn't have that typical scrambled look or taste, but tasted OK. Liked it overall and would stay there again

Dirty bathroom, especially the counter behind the faucet and the floor around the toilet. The breakfast was a joke with no fruit and stale bagels. The room was very noisy and there was constant vibration from an unidentified motor 😳
