Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham York

Had to wait until 8:30 p.m. to check in because there was no room ready (prepaid 2 weeks beforehand), check-in is supposed to be at 3:00 p.m. When I was trying to leave, my key didn't let me back into the room so I had to go back to the front desk to get it to work again so that I could leave and go to work. Cable terrible, shows kept skipping. No working ice machine anywhere to be found. Room faces Arsenal Road, incredibly noisy. I wouldn't use the WiFi, especially if you're using it to shop or anything involving banking.

Check in was fast and easy. I did NOT know there was No elevator with two floors. I am disabled and walk with a cane and found out after checking in at the front desk and went looking for an elevator. Room was clean, beds were double beds, and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and to the enjoyment of my 4 grandkids that joined me.

There is no pool.

Wasn't bad my only complaints would be no ice buckets in room or at ice machine

Overall misinformation about room, said pool was at this motel, didn’t state that it is not in use. Not a good spot to stay if you have little kids. Beware

This hotel was a disgrace to the hotel business. The staff refused to give me and my family more towels and wash cloths for a second night even though there were not enough towels to use for the remainder of the trip. They only gave 2 towels and 2 washcloths per room and expected that to be sufficient for 2 nights. The staff were rude, dismissive, and very unhelpful for the basic needs that a hotel should offer. It was not a safe environment either with drug deals occurring in the middle of the night in other rooms and a lot of foot traffic moving about at night. My room had no garbage can anywhere in the room and when we first arrived we though the key card wasn’t working because the door stuck so hard that you had to pop your hip into it to get it to open. One of the rooms had a stain on the pillow case and also had something splattered onto the curtain. The pictures of this hotel show a pool, however upon arrival it was clear that there was no longer a pool at this hotel. In one of the outside covered walkways leading from the inner rooms to the outer parking space was a huge puddle of dirty water/unknown liquid that sat there for the two days that I stayed there. I will not be staying here again and recommend that others do not as well.

An older hotel that needs some updating but overall a nice stay. Nice big rooms at a good price, comfortable beds and a surprisingly nice breakfast. Staff were friendly, plenty of parking and conveniently located. We would stop here again.

The only problem ww had is the dryer to dry the clothes was not working properly.Did not fix by the time we check out.If something is broken put an out of order sign on it.

The location. Pool hasn't been available for a long time. The first room had no shower curtain, no ash trays in smoking room, no ice bucket. The ice machine wasn't working any way

There's was a bad smell which was intolerable . Sheets were dirty.

First room I booked, walked in and the lights didn’t work. Then I looked at the bed, and it was covered in black hair as if the sheets were never changed. I brought it up and got my room switched. Second room was alright. Smelled bad and had an overall dirty feeling to it but the bed looked clean. Breakfast was good nothing too special.

Room was dirty , had holes in sheets and roaches in the bathroom. Made this aware to desk clerk and she refused to change room. We had to leave and go to another Hotel with no refun

The hallways litered with trash and cigarettes. The bathroom had hair on the sink and in the tub. Dirty had prints on both sides of the bathroom door.

The room was absolutely filthy and I mean filthy the microwave door looks like it hadn't been cleaned in months shower with some dirty I was scared to get in it. So please be warned do not staying this Days inn in York PA. I could have got a better room in the middle of Kensington in Philadelphia and I mean that.

I gave them a second shot. Now my body is covered with bites. The room had roaches and some kind of things coming out old the drain. I believe they had bed bugs. I can’t understand how you could rent a room like this to someone totally unbelievable

The place is a complete dump—old, rundown, and clearly not well-maintained. The pictures displayed online is not a true representation of what this hotel looks like. The carpets are stained, the furniture looks like it’s been here since the ‘80s, and there was a musty smell in the hallway. The room itself was filthy. I found stains and hairs on the bed. The heat was off and the room was 53*. There were cracks under the door so you could feel the cold air pouring in. The shower barely worked, and I had to ask for towels multiple times because they didn’t have any available when I checked in. This hotel needs a complete renovation, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.

Stains on the sheets, dead bugs in the bathroom, the people staying a few doors down were screaming at each other outside. Not a great stay.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! I wasn't looking for Ritz Carrolton treatment for the price but expected the room to be CLEAN! The room was filthy I'm surprised there were no bedbugs. The bathroom door was broken off the hinges, someone stole the iron out of the room, the room smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in months, the phone cord was cut, and there were stains on the pillowcases and the sheets! BLOOD on the sheets!!!!! When I tell you I will NEVER book here again I mean it !!

There was nothing we liked about this hotel. 1st off our room had no electricity when we entered the room. Called the deck and were told to give them 15 minutes and they would turn on the circuit breaker. In the mean time my grand daughter and I check the room with the flash light on our phones. It was filthy there were chicken bones rotting beside a chair. thick dust and dirt every where. The refrigerator was filthy with sticky goop every where. Before they even turned the lights on we were out of there. It was disgustingly filthy. Shady people walking around out side. Did not feel safe. Offered us a second room which had cockroaches running around it. We left them know we will not be staying her, They would not refund our money because they said we used the room for 20 minutes. Stay far away from this hotel it is unsafe and filthy.

Shower handle fell off in my hand, changed rooms. Security bolt was missing ball on door. No cylinder to put through toilet paper to hang it up. Only one very small trash can, other rooms had two. We overflowed it. Of course not listed as a 5 star. You get what you pay for. Had to prop open drain plug in tub for it to drain.

Verry slow check-in, unable to understand desk person, Tv wouldn't turn on, extreme highway noise

Very noisy due to the nearby roadways. There was a funky odor that could easily be smelled while walking up the steps to the second floor.

Fire alarm beeped constantly, no internet at my room, no coffee maker, Kleenex, or toilet paper holder, very noisy, roaring bathroom fan, A/C difficult to set or regulate, security fastener on door placed so that it didn’t close, bed not comfortable, no shelf in bathroom for items. Room was spacious and clean.

Bathtub / shower required several hours to drain the water out after only one shower.

The room was clean. However, there were holes in the walls, pieces of the trims broken off, big chunks out of the bathtub, and the toilet would randomly drain super loud every 20 minutes or so, which kept me up most of the night. I definitely will not be staying here again.

Will not stay here again. It was a handicap no smoking room. We don't smoke, so that was fine, but really didn't need the handicap shower that just had a hole in floor, no drain strainer. The sink was falling off the wall, the bathroom fan was screeching in need of replacing. The people next to us were smoking pot all night, and it was seeping into our room. No coffee pot or tea. TV had channels, but no guide. Very disappointed by my usual choice as preferred. Room was on the traffic side and noisy. Ventilation system(AC/Heat) showed on, but no adjustments.

Security chain on door had no latch to secure the door. Phone was not connected and connection wire could be used. No wi-fi connection. Bed and covers were ok.

Very bare bones room. No coffee maker, no hangars, no iron/board, one cup.

The room was quite cold (60degrees) when I entered. The heater could not be set above 74 and the heater was not capable of warming beyond 72 degrees. No toilet paper, no tissue paper, no coffee maker, no hot water for the shower. The breakfast room was also cold, maybe 65 degrees. I had to knock on the office door to request a remote for the TV in the breakfast room and when the door opened it was significantly warmer in the office, to the tune of at least 10 degrees warmer. Breakfast was ok. However, the waffle batter ran out before breakfast was done and not refilled.

The staff Lisa and other staff provided us extraordinary customer services, they were very polite and helpful. the breakfast is great with the price we paid, no commend on food and drinks. the room is very clean. We were all very happy and we thanks staff for their services, we paid tips in the room when we left early in the morning. We definitely will come back to this Days Inn the next time, I will recommend my other friends to stay in this hotel as well.

We were given a key to an occupied room. It let us in, which was a safety hazard. Switched rooms missing couch to sleep 5. Dangerous property with sketchy illegal atmosphere. Dirty, smoky, broken down.0 Stars. The check-in lady was courteous, but it was unsafe and gross.

There is work being done around the property so there are pallets of things laying around. The front desk wouldn’t allow me to use a credit card so I had to use the atm across the street and get cash to pay for the room. It only gave me smoking room online and when I got here there were non smoking available. I prefer non smoking. The lobby was empty and didn’t feel warm and inviting at all. The curtain did not meet so seeing both in and out wasn’t that hard to do. The key to get in the room did not register the first two attempts I tried to get the door open. You have to move it around for it to work. When the air was set to 75 degrees high fan it blew out cold air for 10 mins before it got hot and heated up the room

Lady at front desk was very rude and unhelpful when asked for things

In line at 3 to check in. Couldn’t get in until 4:15i was told 10 min. Then 5 more min. Then given the key. But still had to wait. Just terrible

Ppl next door to me were up s screaming and fighting all night called front desk with no answer so listened to it for hrs even after cops came so needless to say was not a good night of sleep very disappointed that no one at hotel was able to be reached

First room we were given was not cleaned trash and all still in the room. After getting attitude from the front desk we got a new room and the door would not lock. The bathroom was full of nasty hair and just not kept up. No coffee pot or even phone in the room. Breakfast options were very minimal. Would not stay here again

The second lady who helped us move rooms to first floor when toilet messed up was very nice.

The staff were extremely helpful and very professional. They were in need of our room since it was a double beds and called to ask if we would mind taking the accessible king instead as we had only 2 people. They were very accommodating with our larger vehicle as we towed a race trailer and arrived later due to the race.

I called everyday last week to ensure that I could check in early due to me being in wedding. Not only did they not have a room ready for me to check in early the house keeper Craig was very rude and disrespectful about the length of time it would take for my room to be ready. The only person who was actually helpful and courteous was the lady Lisa at the front desk.

The hotel is located near everything we needed during our stay (restaurants grocery etc). The room was spacious with a microwave & mini frig.

Convenient location. Comfortable room.

This hotel is just for sleeping. Nothing more. Convenient to gas and food.

Thr reception was friendly and helpful, the site well lighted.. The only real negative was a sletchy neighbourhood.

Nice and convenient….. close to interstate…. And eateries

The room was very nice. The breakfast was great. Staff was very professional. The only problems we had was when we checked in the floors was very dirty we had white socks on and they turned black we told the office to have them mop our floors and they said that they might not get to them today and they didn't get to do them so i said something when we got breakfast the next day the cleaners was told to do them they came in and gave us clean towels but they didn't mop our floors the other problem was that we seen roaches in the room which we also told staff about.

The bed was comfortable and clean, and the room was clean, but we noticed some dirty spots, particularly on the mirrors and in the bathroom. Unfortunately, there was a smell of smoke, despite having booked a non-smoking room. It seemed like we were placed on the smoking side of the hotel, as there were many smokers around. Breakfast was also disappointing — when we arrived (still within breakfast hours), there was no coffee available. After asking the staff to prepare more, we were served very watered-down coffee. Overall, we did not enjoy the breakfast. Additionally, our friends staying in another room reported finding small cockroaches.

The property itself was appropriate for an overnight stay. The sidewalks and some parts of the building could use some repairs. However, for the price it was not bad. Breakfast was limited but could use adding additional options on food choices.

Did not receive a receipt at check out. No housekeeping after requesting housekeeping except for once during a five night stay. Breakfast was incomplete. For example waffle batter needed refilling; orange juice was only water.

The only thing i will say is the noise at night by others staying at the hotel. I requested a non smoking room because i was with the baby but when we walked in the room it was a strong cigarret smell. It say free breakfast until 9am my husband went to grab coffee at 8:30 and the lady told him she wasnt doing another pot, because it was about to be 9.

Breakfast is good for such motel, the coffee is provided for breakfast ONLY. No coffee during the day. But there is a SHEETZ in 2 min walking distance. I thought information about coffee would be useful for coffee lovers. In general…. not bad , affordable for budget.

The place was not even close to what I’ve enjoyed at other Days Inns Breakfast was not close to what I expected. Compared to other Days Inns
