Our stay was great. Oscar at the front desk went above and beyond to help me find a cell store after my phone was inoperable. Restaurant staff were amazing still serving us breakfast in a thunder storm. Just really great service all the way around.

Fabulous location. Room had a nice size bathroom with huge shower and a spacious balcony. Seating needed some wiping down but were comfortable. Very budget friendly too!

The hotel is located near the beach, so humidity in the rooms is unavoidable. And you can smell it. The furnishings are very basic; there were just enough towels. And you have to be prepared for the noise, because music played until 2 a.m. The next morning, the music started up again at 8 a.m. Bottom line: You pay a lot of money, but nothing is invested in the hotel. The hotel offers valet parking for $49, but we had parked just around the corner in a parking garage for only $20.

Review for Hotel Ocean Miami Beach Clean property, helpful staff, but very cramped room The property itself was clean, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating during our stay. The air conditioning worked well, which was definitely a plus given the Miami heat. Unfortunately, the room was much smaller and more cramped than we expected. There was very little space to move around, especially with our luggage, and there was almost no counter or storage space for personal items such as makeup, deodorant, toiletries, etc. It made getting ready each day more difficult than it needed to be. We also paid attention to the view, and unfortunately, our room's view was not very impressive. Overall, Hotel Ocean has a great location and helpful staff, but I would recommend asking specifically about room size, storage/counter space, and the view before booking. For us, the room itself was the biggest drawback. Would I stay again? Maybe, but only if I could confirm I was getting a larger room with better space and a better view.
