Lovely inn for family with 2 kids and a dog. The find a duck was a big hit. The pool was lovely and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Walkable to grocery store and lovely nature preserve.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, room was clean and convenient parking was available. We liked the fact that we were able to do laundry unfortunately they were out of detergent which led to an additional trip to the grocery store which was close by. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay.

Lois in the office was fabulous. I had walked to Cedar Crest from town, on a hot, humid day, with two bag and was completely exhausted when i arrived. Lois was so kind and made my check-in a breeze. Her kindness made a huge impression on my stay. She brought in very yummy homemade chocolate chip bread the next morning! The pool was great. Warm, clean and just perfect.

Loved this place! We really like the old style "motel" where you can park right in front of the room. Super friendly staff and helpful. Nice bar on site. The pool was awesome.

Floors dirty, hair in bathroom, 0 facial tissues, tv not operational. Expedia info stated 24 hour desk, not the case. Arrived after 11:00 pm and checked out by 11:00 am next day. Well overpriced for what we received and regardless of any possible response to my review I stand by my statement. Obviously would never consider staying in the future.

The office area was cute, they had coffee and cookies, and a restaurant. The property looked nice and was well manicured, but when we go to our room we were disappointed. There was a pile of dirty rags in front of our door, and when we went into the room it smelled very musty. The bathroom floor looked really dirty, but half of it was worn tiles, but the other half was dirty grout. My husband also could not get the shower to work.

When we arrived there was one coffee splattered coffee cup in the coffee tray. The bathroom was dirty. There was standing pee around the toilet. We asked for the maid to touch up the room. The coffee was not replaced. We did not receive any more coffee cups. The coffee was left in the coffee pot. The bed was partly made. Crumbs were left on the table. There were two conditioners and no shampoo. I reached out to the front desk and told them the maid did not service the room correctly and they simply said, sorry we usually do a good job. The front desk was immaculate. The coffee and fruit at the front desk was good. The front desk was professional. The maid service was comparable to a fast food restaurant restroom.

The room was barely acceptable for comfort, but the cleanliness was unacceptable. It was obvious the room had not been cleaned thoughtfully for a long time - dust, dirt, and bugs were visible in the corners. When something fell behind the nightstand, moving it revealed layers of grime that had clearly built up over time. We also saw bugs in several areas, which was already disturbing. Most concerning, my daughter developed bed bug bites during our stay. While I can’t say with absolute certainty they came from the bed, given this was the only place we slept, combined with the visible bugs, dirt, and poor cleanliness, it is highly likely.

Nice place. Friendly check in. My only complaint was that our room had a musty smell to it. Not sure if it was the cleaning products used on top of a musty smell or what. It was not a pleasant odor.

The location is great. Staff were friendly and the property is nice and well kept. Everything in the rooms is just very worn. Specifically the bed is probably the worst I’ve ever (tried to) sleep in…the mattress felt like it should’ve been replaced in 2005. The AC units and fridges are extremely loud. It’s very quaint and if you’re not a picky sleeper it’s a nice place, but I wouldn’t personally stay again.

I know the area is pricey generally, but $800 for three nights at this place is a joke. We left after two nights because our backs hurt so bad from the beds they have. The room was damp and your feet felt wet when you walked across the rug. We only felt comfortable with socks and shows on. It was also just a dark hole of a hotel room.

Check I was phenomenal with Demitri at the front desk. Smart, with an affable personality. Hotel cost was low and we feel we found a hidden gem. Recently remodeled, extremely clean and great surroundings. We had an enjoyable walk to downtown Camden! Would recommend and would definitely stay here again!

No elevator for guests on top floor. No hot water. We were told it was being fixed. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told they were not available or on site. When manager was called the call when straight to voice mail. Desk staff only made excuses or said I’m sorry . When one pays that much for a room, one expects at least hot water for a shower. The worst stay of my adult life and believe me I will tell everyone I know how bad this place is. No one attempted to assuage my frustration …. Horrid customer service.

I had such a great stay at the Cedar Crest Inn! The price was reasonable for a traveler on a budget and the room and property were very nice and quiet. Dmitry at the front desk was super-friendly and very helpful, great person to have on staff. The inn was close to downtown Camden and many other beautiful spots. Highly recommended!

Our 4-night stay at Cedar Crest Inn was an enjoyable experience. The buildings are older, and yet each were well maintained and so was the grounds area surrounding them. All staff members that we encountered were friendly and engaging, and so were all of the guests who met. Cedar Crest Inn's geographical location was ideal to visit attractions in Maine's mid-state coastal region, including a comfortable driving distance to Acadia National Park farther north. We'll definitely stay at Cedar Crest Inn on our next excursion to Maine, and we've already recommended the experience to family and friends since arriving home.

In a town filled with charming inns, Cedar Crest is a reasonably priced accommodation that is clean. The room is not small. The biggest disappointment on arrival is that the rooms are surrounded by the asphalt parking lot. The grassy area in the photos is on the property, but not as prominently as in the photos. The location is convenient.

This was our 2nd stay at the property, and it did not disappoint. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. While the distance to downtown was just under a mile we did walk it one evening for dinner and it's not a bad walk for someone who's in shape. We also find the location a great spot for heading out to the surrounding areas for adventures and sightseeing as the traffic is lighter near the inn.

Great location, within walking distance to downtown Camden and Hannaford grocery store practically next door. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was comfortable and clean with a microwave and mini fridge and laundry machines available if needed. My only complaint is that the shower water wasn’t very warm and went cold only a couple of minutes into my showers. Otherwise, very nice and comfortable room. I would stay there again.

We enjoy Cedar Crest because it is a dog friendly place to stay that is an easy ten minute walk or super quick drive to all that Camden offers. The grounds are charming with a huge grassy area for the dogs and a pool for the rest of us when the weather is warm enough. Our only disappointment is that the restaurant on the grounds is literally never open when we stay here. Not quite sure why.

The restaurant. Amazing! It would definitely be in the top 10 restaurants in any major city! We had both dinner and the Sunday brunch. I can't get over hiw great both meals were! And the restaurant itself was rustic and beautiful. The room was spacious and had a large refrigerator and microwave. It was not fancy but very comfortable. The property also has a washer and dryer. A very enjoyable stay. We will return.

Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. They need to do a little painting on the outside. They advertised that there is a restaurant on site, but it was closed. It looked like it hadn’t been open in a long time. It certainly needed repairs. That should be taken off their website. The staff however couldn’t be nicer. We would recommend this motel and would come back.
