The property was a unique cave with all modern facilities. Hot tub. The most exceptional views and fabulous staff who cannot do enough. Breakfast was delivered to room every day by very helpful male staff member, sorry can't remember his name.

Amazing views! Location was awesome, quaint rooms, delicious breakfast, and very friendly staff, Ada gave lots of great recommendations! We were here end of season when it was a bit chilly, wouldn’t call the hot tub hot… it was only warm.

Really enjoyed my three nights in paradise! Amazing views from the hot tub and very private. Close to all the action and great staff. I especially enjoyed having a breakfast tray delivered to the hot tub area each day!

Location is superb, right in the heart of Fira, so many shopping around and just 2 mins walk to the Main Street. The only down side of the property is so much narrow stairs up and down makes it hard to move big suitcases. Ada who was our contact person during the stay was gorgeous, she took care of us even before we arrived. She sent us a lot of good info about car rental, activities to book, dining places, and arranged transportation from the port for us. Breakfast menu has a large variety of choices and we loved it being served till 11am. The room is lovely, spotless clean and our plunge pool faces to the caldera which was a bonus for enjoying the ocean and sunset. During the night even it is in the center of Fira, it’s so quiet probably due to their building construction. We rented a small car for 2 days which I recommend to do so as it made our life easier to get around between Fira, Oia, and the beaches. Parking is sketchy though, we parked at the lot across the McDonald’s which was suggested by Ada but that parking lot is popular and people kinda park “very freestyle”, glad that we had a small car. Overall we enjoyed our stay so much, we definitely will come back.

This property has an amazing view of the caldera with its own plunge pool. The breakfast was delivered every morning and was delicious and the customer service was impeccable! It’s right out the door to all the shops and restaurants.

Hot tub is room temperature, was a bit cold when getting out of the water. Breakfast was amazing! We were helped with carrying luggage down the stairs. Lots of stairs.

Spectacular view. Private. The Perfect place in Santorini! Close to many restaurants, bars and shopping. Delicious breakfast and amazing service. Will be back as soon as possible. The view from the jacuzzi is incredible. Spent 4 nights there with my family and they loved too.

Loved staying here and would stay again! The hotel staff was excellent, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were exactly as pictured. It can be loud at night so might not be the place for you if you want quiet! Also, the pool/hot tub discolored our swimsuits so wear dark colored ones.

They watched our luggage so we could walk around while we waited. Right next to the cable car to the port and close to downtown Fira main street. Easy access to taxis and the bus stop. Wear good shoes cause the steps are many and the cobblestone steets can get you. Would stay here again!

Excellent option for an excellent view and right in the heart of town. There were three of us and we had one of the larger rooms as pictured on the site. Modern boutique style which I like. Vladimir was very friendly and helpful. Concierge is not on site all day if that is something you desire (we didn’t care and our texts were always acknowledged and assistance was provided when needed). There are STEEP steps as expected so caution to people who can’t handle that. The breakfast was a la carte and you had to order the day before. I felt the options were good. This was my third time in Santorini. I recommend this boutique style hotel.

Vladimir and Peter are amazing, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel has a beautiful view of Santorini and the volcano. The rooms are spectacular and cozy and gives you a feel of how its like to live in Santorini. The breakfast they offer is very great and tasty. I high oh recommend this establishment to anyone.

We made two, one night reservations at this hotel and two other couples made their own reservations directly through the hotel. When we arrived, they only had one room available and said that we 'broke their system' by reserving too many rooms. The only saving grace is that it was low season and the owner had family members that owned hotels close by. One couple was given a Room at the Modernity, one couple was at another hotel and the third couple was given a room at a third hotel. All were fairly close by, but there is no excuse for this. All of us had been in contact with the hotel via email for a couple of transfers. They did send someone to meet us at the airport but didn't tell us about the hotel mixup until we tried to check in. In fact, the owner blamed us for the issues, never really accepting his errors. Again, we were very greatful that it was low season and the owner found an acceptable resolution.

Can’t say enough good things about it. With only four suites they are able to provide a level of service that is perfect. Ada and Alex take such good care of the guests. The location is great. The view is great. The breakfast was great.

We had to check in late after a flight cancellation, and from the beginning, Ada was so helpful setting up a late-night transfer from the airport and providing check-in instructions so that we could get into our room after hours. Throughout our whole stay, Ada was responsive and provided excellent recommendations. We LOVED our room and patio - the view was phenomenal and we enjoyed eating breakfast there each morning. This hotel is very close to the heart of Fira, but removed enough that we never had issues with noise at night. I can't recommend it enough! We would never stay anywhere else in Santorini - our stay here was absolutely perfect.

Location is superb, right in the heart of Fira, so many shopping around and just 2 mins walk to the Main Street. The only down side of the property is so much narrow stairs up and down makes it hard to move big suitcases. Ada who was our contact person during the stay was gorgeous, she took care of us even before we arrived. She sent us a lot of good info about car rental, activities to book, dining places, and arranged transportation from the port for us. Breakfast menu has a large variety of choices and we loved it being served till 11am. BOOK THIS NOW!! It is absolutely, hands-down the best experience. The views are breathtaking. The breakfast and delivery make you feel like you are royalty. Upon arrival, the manager sat down with us and gave us a complete tutorial on the island, where to go, how to get there, suggestions, etc. She was able to get us a great discount on a tour that was the highlight of our stay. She was always available if I had questions during my stay. Mr. Alex was so sweet and carried my very heavy suitcase up all the stairs for us without a whimper. I could not have been happier with my stay and if I could give them more stars, I would. If you are even remotely thinking twice about booking here, do it! You will not regret your choice.

"Hot tub" was not hot so more of a plunge pool but still cool to sit and watch the sights. Room was clean and comfy and they were able to get us in our room early. They watched our luggage so we could walk around while we waited. Right next to the cable car to the port and close to downtown Fira main street. Easy access to taxis and the bus stop. Wear good shoes cause the steps are many and the cobblestone steets can get you. Would stay here again!

We had to check in late after a flight cancellation, and from the beginning, Ada was so helpful setting up a late-night transfer from the airport and providing check-in instructions so that we could get into our room after hours. Throughout our whole stay, Ada was responsive and provided excellent recommendations. We LOVED our room and patio - the view was phenomenal and we enjoyed eating breakfast there each morning. This hotel is very close to the heart of Fira, but removed enough that we never had issues with noise at night. I can't recommend it enough! We would never stay anywhere else in Santorini - our stay here was absolutely perfect.

Loved staying here and would stay again! The hotel staff was excellent, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were exactly as pictured. It can be loud at night so might not be the place for you if you want quiet! Also, the pool/hot tub discolored our swimsuits so wear dark colored ones.

Vladimir and Peter are amazing, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel has a beautiful view of Santorini and the volcano. The rooms are spectacular and cozy and gives you a feel of how its like to live in Santorini. The breakfast they offer is very great and tasty. I high oh recommend this establishment to anyone.

We booked our two suites at the Modernity based on location and capability to accommodate our family of six. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay assisting with getting our luggage down the steps and meeting all of our requests. The sunset views were spectacular as we were right on the caldera and could easily make our way to all the sights in Fira. The provided breakfast was a nice touch but there are many food options and coffee shops throughout the area to explore. Lastly, we enjoyed the outdoor tubs especially in the early mornings and after the sun sets.
