I have always loved this property but they have taken away one pool, yoga studio - fitness area and two yoga classes and made them just for residents so hotel guests lose some of the most best parts of the property. I won’t pay the higher price if these things aren’t included.

The pro, the service was quick and friendly. The cons, looks like it was a 5-star hotel years ago, but definitely more dated and worn now. The spa was very crowded and not inviting or relaxing. For a wellness resort, there were so many kids - definitely not the relaxing environment I was hoping for. The adult pool had a lot of garbage around and no service.

Property has direct access to the beach, rooms and property was very clean, staff were very nice. Front desk service was excellent specially Sheneika was very helpful to my family!! The optional upgrade for room were not available but she managed to give us alternative options. The amenities were great, and we have enjoyed the rock climbing, and the wellness for the adult. The only exception was the outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi close at sunset time. There are multiple pools in the property but only one accessible to the hotel guests. Restaurant and grocery stores are located near the property and there wasn’t need for driving or taking rides.

Everything was great except they don’t have a pool for kids 11-17 years old. They have a pool for small children and an adult pool and are very strict about who is allowed to use the adult 18 and over pool. Also they close the pools at 6pm which is when it’s finally bearable to be outdoors in Miami in August. Same with the beach chairs and umbrellas.

Staff was unjustly rude at times. I’ve stayed here before and their rudeness this time was unusual. The elevators smelled due to their stinky cleaning solution. I even had to carry my own items downstairs to checkout due to the Bell-Man being to busy. He then made a scene by asking for a tip and yelling for a tip in front of people. Shameful. Not staying here again!

A/C didn't work, terrible smell of mildew when we got back to the room one night, a light fixture just fell off the wall, with no warning. Spa was just okay. Didn't feel very high-end at all. Also has a ton of residences, so there seemed to be a lot of people in their 70s and 80s with grandchildren visiting. Food at The Strand was average. We had a dinner that cost $250., and we had NO DRINKS. WAY overpriced for thequality. Manager was very nice, though, when I let him know about all of the issues in our room.

This property charged $400 per room for incidentals during a 2 days stayin addition to full payment on arrival. Haven’t received the credit yet. There is a $98 plus tax resort fee. Housekeeping woke us up before 9am despite having DND light on . Front desk never picked. Loud banging in bathroom. Rooms were nice but not worth it.

Beach was nice, but sand could have been cleaner for the price point. Drinks at the beach were not good. I got a facial and it burned my face and left welts, but I signed a waiver so nothing I could do. Pools we’re just ok. Restaurant was out of a lot of the food we selected. Too expensive for level of service and quality received.

The view of the room #212 was the ROOF of the building. Then, after I complained the view of next room#1003 was next building CONSTRUCTION. The Bed mattress was too soft causing back pain to both me and husband. At 4am had to go to the sofa. The app to modify the hardness of the mattress did not work. Next morning went to reception to explain and the attitude (I believe Chris) of the front desk young lady made me to make my final decision: CHECK OUT. My reservation was for 3 nights and we stayed one night only. The suit was beautiful, the restaurant The Strand was excellent: both the service and food. But our experience with the room selection, bed, and front desk person was not good. Tip: take drinkable water as there is no Water bottles in the room,

Nice hotel spacious suites, only option to park was valet which is a bit over priced . Bathrooms in the room were lovely but the furniture in the rear of the room was dated and in need of replacing particularly the kitchen area. Nice beach are but the sun loungers and sunshades needed replacing very old and used looking and the numbers behind each bed which may be useful made the area looks cheap and tacky . Shame as some simple adjustments would really up the luxury feel and at over £450 per night it’s not cheap . However location was ok, near to shops and the staff were very nice. Would also like them to have put the complimentary water in the room and deducted my $50 resort credit towards food and drink off without me having to ask- that’s a bit disappointing - not much I know but still . Kids loved the on-site rock wall this was a great plus as were the gym and the classes . These were great

The greatest staff we could ask for. EVERYONE there was professional friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. Chris the door guy ensures that we were taken care of everyday. Very professional and courteous. Helped us figure out where to go for our week of R and R

Everything was great except during check out when the front desk insisted we did valet parking. He walked around asking workers and it was shocking that no one knew what was going on. He also didn’t want to answer any of my questions and just ignored it like he didn’t hear me. Anyway, he didn’t seem like he liked his job nor had any customer service training. It’s too bad because the hotel was great but he left a bad lasting impression. Not the way to end an amazing trip. To HR: you need to coach this individual or give him a back role where he doesn’t interact with clients.

The best hotel in Miami Beach. This place is located in North Beach, so if you’re looking to stay in South Beach, this might not be the right spot for you. However, South Beach is only 20 minutes away. This hotel has its own private beach, unlike many hotels in South Beach. It’s also conveniently located right across from a Publix, which is great. There’s a fantastic Italian restaurant called Café Prima Pasta just a block away — try the Fiocchi Rapera if you go! That said, North Miami Beach is very quiet, so don’t expect a South Beach vibe.

We had the best time. Food was amazing and very healthy. Our Kids had a blast. You don’t need to pack pool or sand toys because they have you covered. We used their crib for our youngest and it was an actual crib. So thankful because most places only have pack and plays. Just an all around great stay! We can’t wait to come back.

The spa was great. The rooms very comfortable. Location fine. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday which I guess are considered slow, so the nicest restaurant in the hotel was closed. However the bar food was very good.

The food was extremely subpar especiallh given the price! I decided to order salmon Benedict, crab benedict and the whole wheat pancakes from the onsite restaurant, the strand. I ordered it to go. I get the bikl and there is an 18% gratuity. Not fee, gratuity. While I inquired about it and they removed it, seems a vit dishonest and greedy that you would charge gratuity whej im the one who did the work. Now about the actual food. I kid you not, everything was about the size of a silver dollar. The crab cakes could fit in the middle of my palm. Im a small woman. I tried smoothies from the corner store on site and those were watery. They have no business center and maybe its because its focus is wellness, people will get called for work at times. You do not get champagne at the spa as so many spas do provide it. In the room, there was no creamer and only 2 packets of sugar for the coffee atation. Theres so much more I could say about why this place was just not worth it. The beds and bedding were fantastic though
