The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the whole facility is a bit outdated and run down. The sink in one of rooms was backed up, tiles in both of our rooms were loose, the parking lot is full of holes, and the noise from the freeway can be heard over the television.

There was a dark red blood stain on the mattress that was exposed. There’s no WiFi. The indoor pool is FREEZING. The breakfast in the morning is awful. I stayed for 4 days and was told someone would come fix the tv and they never did. The elevators smelled bad and the hotel overall had a weird smell. It’s next to Celebration Station and the shut down building that used to be Posados. I was afraid of my car getting broken into.

This property is the most rundown Fairfield I’ve been too. But staff is great! Definitely needs a remodel the elevator smells like a mechanics garage

Out of the five nights we stayed,we had housekeeping only one day(4th day) we were told,it’ll be done alternate days while checking in,we had to go down to the front desk every time to get fresh towels or whatever we needed.The hallways were never cleaned,and so are the elevator floors,so dirty.This was not what we expected from Marriott.Would never stay here again.

There was a wet mildew smell as you enter the building. It was also in the room but not as strong. The carpet desperately needs to be replaced. Bed was not very comfortable.

The location was good for our purposes. The hotel itself was underwhelming. The staff was nice, the best part of our stay. The hotel was dated and needs major cleaning. There was stains on the towels which we didn't use, horrible smell to the water. We used bottled water to brush our teeth. And the beds were terrible. Glad we only stayed one night. We will not go back to this hotel.

Not a great stay. Housekeeping did not service my room for my entire stay, even after asking the front desk to have it done after my second night. I ran out of amenities and had to go up to the front desk to request replacements. The overall attitude of most of the staff was not great.

First night we had to change room after midnight as we came late from a graduation party and found the bathtub to be very filthy! Then the room keys to the new room did not work and had to wait again! The second room however, had a sink that did not drain well! We were told to either move again since they told us that they had no one to fix it on weekends! Then a housekeeper came to the room without knocking and fixes the sink! The first time a male from maintenance came without knocking on the door and found me with just my bra and panty on stating he was told the room was empty and he has an order to paint the room! The rooms are old with broken tiles in the bathrooms and discolored bathtubs! I asked for clean towels one night and was told they had none available since they were all in the dryer!! The breakfasts were lame and the old lady was rude and loud yelling my daughter how to pour her waffle mixture properly! This is the worat Fairfield by Marriott I have ever stayed in and will never come na k here again next time I’m in Mesquite, Texas!!!! Horrible stay!

What I booked is not what I got. I booked for a king suite with a queen bunk bed and separate room and living room, but I didn’t get it. I was switched to a two queen bed which was cheaper than a suite . The bathroom tub and sink were dirty. The drawer was damaged, the bathroom fan vent was broken and didn’t work. Just imagine taking a shower and the vent doesn’t work and the weather was in the 100s. I was switched to another room two days later. The third room was worser than the second one because one of the bed was squeaking every time my husband and I moved around. The worst part is when we saw a big roach but we find out it was a water bug that looked like a roach . I was screaming my gut out because it’s was disgusting. I was so disappointed about some of the employees were so rude and unprofessional. They were upset because I was complaining. Anyone all I want is the difference money I was owned from the suits room to the two queens room.

This hotel is in dire need of an update. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The hotel is centrally located but was surrounded by highway construction making navigation at night a little tricky. We usually stay at the Drury hotel chain, which has a great free breakfast. My husband, who usually loves breakfast, said the scrambled eggs were undercooked, and he only tried breakfast one day. There were dead crickets along the wall next to our table causing me to question cleanliness. The elevator was dirty the length of our stay. The sheets either had been washed too many times or just weren't clean. I noticed a blood stain in the corner of the comforter. I regretted not bringing a black light flashlight with me. We had driven a long way, were only staying for 3 -nights, and I did not have the energy to search for another hotel. There was a Dallas Cowboys game that weekend. Bottom line--this is the first and last time we stay at a Fairfield Inn & Suites.

The front desk clerk worked hard to honor our reservation when the computer system was challenging and was eventually successful. We had to wait 15 minutes for him to resolve it- not his fault. The beds were clean and comfortable however there was no internet access for phones or tablets, the bathroom was a little dirty and there was no suitcase rack.

My wife, two children, and I recently stayed at this property on memorial day weekend. We stayed for four days and three nights. The property was poorly kept, and for the duration of our stay, the room was never cleaned. When I asked the hotel staff why they didn’t clean the room the day prior they said they only clean it every two days, which is understandable but we were there for three and it was never cleaned. To the point that we needed to go ask for more coffee for the room and clean towels. Other areas of the hotel just seemed to lack upkeep: the vent in the bathroom didn’t function, some lighting in the room was out, and utilizing the couch pull out bed the mattress was very old, and the kids as light as they are, could feel the springs. But the worst of all were pillows. They were of incredibly cheap quality. I haven’t slept on a pillow so cheap since I was broke and in high school! My advice if you want a good nights sleep stay somewhere else.

The first two nights, there was a lot of noise, slamming doors, and loud voices, could not sleep at all. I reported it, but nothing changed. The TV in my room was not working, and after many calls, the staff sent me to another room where the fridge did not work, and I really need it for my RX. It was a horrible experience, the seven nights I spent there.

We really enjoyed our stay. Alexa made your stay so much better. She showed amazing customer service experience. She was very helpful and a pleasure to be around. I do recommend that your other staff by the name of Jorita ( not sure if I spelled it right) need to take pointers. She isn’t a welcoming person and very rude. She was on the phone while trying to complete transactions. She didn’t speak to the customers at all.

Hotel was clean and comfortable but unfortunately they don’t know what they are doing because I was charged double for my one night stay, I paid with Expedia and when I checked into the hotel the charged me again without letting me know or giving me an explanation, manager could not fix the issue so I’m in the process of a charge dispute with my back this is very upsetting I will never stay there again!!

The property and room was dated and needs a refresh badly. Even though we were on time for breakfast on both days that we were there, they were out of food at breakfast both days. And they did not have any soap in the rooms! No hand soap and no bars of soap and it didn't seem to concern the staff; we were told to use shampoo or the body wash our hands! They could have mentioned they were out when we checked in so we could have run out to get some. We don't plan to stay here again.

I was hoping we would have a nice stay. The pillows were so flat. The bed was very flat as well. What ticked me off the most was when we went down for breakfast…most of the food was gone and the lady wasn’t restocking. I went to tell the front desk they needed to address the issue because I paid for this continental breakfast. The lady complained that it was this persons fault and this person. I don’t care just fill up the food. Then she finally filled it. I had 5 people in my party and two rooms. I expected better from Marriott. No, I do not recommend it!

breakfast could be better. The only hot-cooked food was a cheese omelet and bacon. Everything else was slim pickings by 8:30 a.m. There was a huge wait for waffles. No other complaints beside the breakfast. I would have liked to see biscuits and gravy and sausage myself!!

They really need to fix the room key situation. Tried swiping both room keys dozens of times each. They never worked. The front desk was helpful. But through the two-night stay, we saw many other guests also struggling to get in their rooms. Not the biggest deal, but inconvenient. Cleanliness was fine. Breakfast eggs should not be microwaved in front of guests. Seems like a back-kitchen kinda thing to do. The rooms were inexpensive so you get what you get. We may not stay again but it wasn’t too bad for the money.
