Suburban Studios Cary – RDU Airport

When entering the room, it seemed OK. The room had an odor to it and it was partially renovated surrounding the bed and television. The bathroom was horrible. The toilet was not stable to the floor, which was not covered with tile or vinyl. It looked like it was partially built up like they were supposed to renovate it. The cover for the fan on the wall was missing, and there was stains in the tub. My fiancé took towels because we only had two towels and two washcloths in the room for a three day stay and he was told that they could only give us one tower set because the washer and dryer were not working. Upon checking my bank account I found that they only refunded me $15 of the $50 deposit. I just called today, October 10 to find out why it was told that they charge me $35 for a sheet and a couple towels that they said they could not get stains out of. I asked the lady if they had used any soap to wash the sheets and towel towels because the only thing that was spilled that was cleaned up in the room was ketchup from us eating. I’m going to email the property about this $35 for one sheet and two or three towels because that’s ridiculous to charge anyone for linen first of all. Secondly $35 when you can buy a complete bedding set for $29.99 at Walmart target or any of these other stores. The parking lot was very dim at night and none of the doors to the building, except for the door at the office was locked, even though their sign posted that said use your key to get in.😡

Would love to give an actual review, but drove 6 1/2 hours with 5 kids aged 15-1 and couldn’t even check in or get in touch with anyone because the front desk is only staffed until 3pm-11:30pm. What kind of place does that? There was another couple that were also stranded outside because their flight was delayed and they booked the room without knowing the check in restrictions either. Needless to say, trying to find a room to accommodate 6 people at 2:30am on a Friday night was next to impossible. Went to the Red Roof Inn and had incredible service. We were cramped, but at least we had a room.

It had roaches and old furniture and air unit didn’t work and mattress was horrible

Offered no coffee in room or out of room, had a small soap and tiny bottle of shampoo but it was a good deal for the price. I would stay again it was roomy and very clean offered a kitchen, that was nice if your stay more than a day.. Also a small table to eat on which was good. Staff was not that friendly but I guess you have to pay for that although everyone else in North Carolina were very nice. Parking was very easy.

Room booked was not the room I received. No elevator for disabled mother, she had to walk up to the 3rd floor. Spent about 30 mins there including walking up the stairs because the room smelt disgusting, like mold & smoking, there was mold on the lampshade, red stains on the bed. Housekeeping & Receptionist decided to text back and forth while standing next to each other. They ended up cancelling my reservation & now I'm worried about my refund. Ending up having to pay double at another hotel last night. 7 year old ended up having an asthma attack due to the smell & condition of the room. Was handed 2 keys for a keyless door, so I had to go back down. Text that the hotel sent looked like a scam text, it was someone else's name. They said we could not leave without checking the room first & had to text about it. Another guest was having an issue as well but I'm not sure what that was about.
