We chose this motel because their Expedia listing clearly says they have a laundry room. We had 10 days worth of dirty clothes. Upon arrival we were told no laundry room and no option of a refund. Had to find a laundromat in the next town. Most of the bussinesses around the motel are closed. Their listing also says "free parking". The only parking available was on the street. Had to park 2 blocks away. The few parking spots they had on site looked to be taken by permanent residents. Wifi was barely usable and no ice machine. Never in 3 days was anyone at the front desk. Had to call by phone to get someone to come to the desk.

This building has been standing since 1922. Once a brothel. The bedding was clean & comfortable. The shower was extremely small & so was the toilet area. If you're looking for somewhere safe & just need to sleep, this is the place. Keep in mind there are only stairs & no elevator if you can't walk up stairs. Very nice staff & not noisy at all.

The room was very clean and cozy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our one complaint was the wifi was very weak in our room, which was the furthest from the front lobby (211). The weather was very hot but our room stayed cool and the ceiling fan helped to keep us comfortable while we slept. Even though the hotel is very old, it was a very quiet night and we never heard any road noise. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Very clean, centrally located in Jamestown on Main street. With many different restaurants within walking distance to satisfy anyone’s culinary need. Very friendly staff going out of their way to meet your needs. The rooms have everything one can imagine for a short or long stay, including fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board. And to boot it all, a very sumptuous breakfast after which you can skip lunch. We did. The staff is very friendly, we were treated as personal guests with very personal service. I have travelled all over the world and have not experienced this kind of service. Dee, the lady in charge of the place is a gem, who goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. We plan to come back here next summer for a longer vacation.

Uh I mean, cute attempt at a historical setting for a historical town…but mostly just felt old and unkempt. The skylight over the bed dripped water occasionally and it’s not even remotely ADA friendly. Almost no parking. But it was there when I needed a hotel room in a hurry

The staff is very friendly. Rooms are outdated, but there’s not a lot of business in Jamestown. The bed is very springy and a bit uncomfortable. However, the couch was comfy, and the kitchen was really nice. You get what you pay for, it was a very quiet room. It was nice to have our own space. Lots of room. Parking was manageable, but a little crowded however we had a spot for every night.

Pros: The service was super friendly. The breakfast basket was brought to the room early in the morning and was pretty good. Cons: I expected the room to look at least what the photos showed. Believe me, it is NOT. Don't expect a clean bug free room. I will be washing EVERYTHING we brought due to finding roaches in the medicine cabinet under my toothbrush, on the kitchen counter and floor. There is also mold on the bathroom ceiling and door jams. I really want to give a better review but I just cannot.

Room reeked of mold and dust. Hallways and lobby reeks of cat urine. I am allergic to mold and cats and they would not refund me for this issue. My clothes and luggage reek of the odor and I need to clean and sanitize all my belongings.

It is too bad, the bungalows could be much more enjoyable, if the property wasn’t so dirty. Empty boxes, lying all around, trash, strung along the driveway, and it look like a junkyard in the back of the property. The owners need to clean this place up.

The room was dirty, spider webs with spiders included everywhere on the ceiling. Refrigerator top was gross! Door jams inside, filthy, floors were very dirty. Loud kids screaming outside our cottage. The adults were loud as well. Theb bed was like a brick. I can say the bed was clean, great water pressure in the shower and the breakfast basket was nice.

Checked in and was fine but got a cottage went to dinner and went to room. Dirty, no toliet paper, tv didnt work. Called front desk twice she said she was coming w our breakfast basket and tpliet paper and never came. I was leering of booing this place so I stayed somewhere else for 2 nights. Then I needed to extend and that place was full. So I got a room here. It was on the second floor with no elevators how ever there is an entrance in the back that gets you to the 2nd floor with very few steps. That was very helpful. The place was cute inside and the people were great. Right on main street with Balcony over looking the main drag in town. I was in town to visit someone at the Sierra Conservation Center. If you cam to Jamestown for this reason, I suggest you stay here. Free Breakfast and close to everything in this small town. I will stay here on my next visit.

Clearly these rooms are being renovated. The inbuilt heater smelt of paint. I guess thats why the portable heater was there. Bed was comfy and 3 feet of the ground. It had a kitchen as well which was decent. But the whole room point downhill, very noticeably. My drunk wife struggled with it. Having daid all that, ive had worse stays.

The room was clean but the bed and tv were on the same wall so it was difficult to watch tv. It looked like they were trying to refurbish the property. Had to walk down a road that was hard to walk on. Water gravel and tar coming up. Also a bit dangerous if a car had to go up the as it was only wide enough to fit the car. The proprietor talked real fast and did not give me a receipt for our stay. Said we had to go online and request the receipt. The place was quite the best thing at this facility was the Farrell cats roaming around the grounds. Will not go there again.

Room was clean and super cute. Dee, the gal that checked us in was amazing! However, the air conditioning was not sufficient. No, they can’t control the heat but guests should be comfortable. Photos are from the night we checked in and then following morning. People were in the hallway sweating trying to cool off at 8:30 in the morning. Do not stay here in the Summer.

This was a unique upstairs motel. The room was nice and clean and bed comfortable. It had a lovely front deck you could sit on and watch the town. The front desk lady was exceptionally nice. We were able to park directly in front and that was convenient. The room could use more electrical outlets. Some of the plugs full of appliances were a bit scary.

Very clean, centrally located in Jamestown on Main street. With many different restaurants within walking distance to satisfy anyone’s culinary need. Very friendly staff going out of their way to meet your needs. The rooms have everything one can imagine for a short or long stay, including fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board. And to boot it all, a very sumptuous breakfast after which you can skip lunch. We did. The staff is very friendly, we were treated as personal guests with very personal service. I have travelled all over the world and have not experienced this kind of service. Dee, the lady in charge of the place is a gem, who goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. We plan to come back here next summer for a longer vacation.

We really liked this place right in the heart of Jamestown so everything was right there. It is a older hotel so different from the usual hotel or motel experience. Breakfast basket was nice it was brought up in the evening so you could just wake up and have breakfast in your room. Customer service was amazing I will definitely stay here again

My stay was fantastic. Great place to stay in Jamestown. They went above and beyond as I left a backpack and they personally delivered the backpack to my home a week later. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was leering of booing this place so I stayed somewhere else for 2 nights. Then I needed to extend and that place was full. So I got a room here. It was on the second floor with no elevators how ever there is an entrance in the back that gets you to the 2nd floor with very few steps. That was very helpful. The place was cute inside and the people were great. Right on main street with Balcony over looking the main drag in town. I was in town to visit someone at the Sierra Conservation Center. If you cam to Jamestown for this reason, I suggest you stay here. Free Breakfast and close to everything in this small town. I will stay here on my next visit.

The last sad hotel in downtown Jamestown. The property appears to be in its last legs. The room was clean but beyond dated. Clearly the new nearby casino has decimated the historic town. Hard to recommend.

Pleasantly surprised by the environment here. Rustic little town with good number of vacant shops, yet clean and charming with its old west feel. Hotel’s maintenance hasn’t kept up with its wear and tear, but overall it’s clean and staff is friendly. Really good value too!

This place look very old which made this place very unique but yet very comfortable. WE loved the outside porch that’s located upstairs. It has thin walls so we couldn’t be too loud at night but other that this place was really good

This was a unique upstairs motel. The room was nice and clean and bed comfortable. It had a lovely front deck you could sit on and watch the town. The front desk lady was exceptionally nice. We were able to park directly in front and that was convenient. The room could use more electrical outlets. Some of the plugs full of appliances were a bit scary.

Very nice family running it . Pretty clean drawback was that most everything in town was closed including the winery due to the winter weather and days of the week I was there ( Monday, Tues)

Pros: The service was super friendly. The breakfast basket was brought to the room early in the morning and was pretty good. Cons: I expected the room to look at least what the photos showed. Believe me, it is NOT. Don't expect a clean bug free room. I will be washing EVERYTHING we brought due to finding roaches in the medicine cabinet under my toothbrush, on the kitchen counter and floor. There is also mold on the bathroom ceiling and door jams. I really want to give a better review but I just cannot.

The cottage is cute but does need some repair. The mattress is hard. Some make prefer that. Breakfast is prepared and brought to you the night before which is a cute basket filled lots of goodies. Staff is great, friendly, and helpful. Outside the cottage does need to be cleaned up.

Breakfast were marginally healthy w a basket of grocery store bought products: packaged muffins, bottled juice (apple +), sugary cereals, etc. it was helped by including milk, oranges, apples, bananas, and 2 boiled eggs (overcooked w green rings) for the 3 mornings.

Do not stay here if you’re trying to get some sleep. Very loud! The next room over had the tv on all night and it was so loud. There was a window on top of the door that was so bright and a window on the ceiling I could hear the rain. Very noisy. Would not recommend. Blinds were dusty. Spider webs in the corners of the room. Hair in the shower
