Had to be in 1000 Islands Clayton to coach my wrestling team…I book last minute just in case any of the kids need a place to sta. Booked 2 rooms at Super 8 in Pulaski. Was about 50 minutes away, but everywhere closer was booked up. Glad I did. Cuz about 8 miles away is the Pond Pit BBQ restaurant, and the food was amazing! Great location. Friendly staff. Nice enough rooms and facility. Only issue was the deposit. It’s the highest I’ve ever heard of…$250, PER ROOM…so there was a $500 hold on my credit card. Wasn’t an issue for me, but I could totally see it being an issue for others, so, BE AWARE…to stay, you’ll need to have an additional $250 freed up on a card.

The room was a good value for the price. The location is convenient to everything. All of the appliances (TV. clock radio, phone, mini fridge worked. Everything was clean. Wifi was sketchy. All in all, not terrible, not great, just good enough.

On the outside, the hotel looks fine. We walked into the lobby and it smelled of pot. The person behind the counter told me that there would be a charge for smoking inside the hotel (I don't smoke), and laughed as apparently she just finished smoking something (I'm guessing it was her). Even with a reservation, it took 10 minutes to check in as she struggled with finding us a room and couldn't process my credit card, took her a few times. Later we saw her sleeping in the chair when we walked by. Our room was dirty - mold in bathroom, hair in tub, faucet about to come off of the sink, dirty vents. The heater was very loud when it ran. I positively would look for other places to stay.

Filthy hotel from the carpets at the back entrance not being vacuumed to the very dirty dimly lit room, and hair infested bathroom. Someones towel was still hanging on the back of the bathroom door and their was obvious unwashed soiled spots on the top bed cover.

The place was dark in the halls and the room didn’t have much lighting. The beds were way too hard to sleep on. No breakfast in the morning. It was a little room to move when more than one person was walking in the room. Otherwise it was clean and the staff was friendly.

Housekeeping never came to our room… No one was ever at the desk…. We left early ( on Sunday) as there wasn’t even a clean towel to be had…. I asked about shortening our stay, because we came up to go fishing but the weather was going to be horrible horrible for later part of stay…. I was told to contact Expedia… which I did…. Expedia told me because we paid at the hotel we’d have to talk to hotel…. For two days tried finding anyone who worked at hotel to no avail. Would never recommend staying here again….

Had to be in 1000 Islands Clayton to coach my wrestling team…I book last minute just in case any of the kids need a place to sta. Booked 2 rooms at Super 8 in Pulaski. Was about 50 minutes away, but everywhere closer was booked up. Glad I did. Cuz about 8 miles away is the Pond Pit BBQ restaurant, and the food was amazing! Great location. Friendly staff. Nice enough rooms and facility. Only issue was the deposit. It’s the highest I’ve ever heard of…$250, PER ROOM…so there was a $500 hold on my credit card. Wasn’t an issue for me, but I could totally see it being an issue for others, so, BE AWARE…to stay, you’ll need to have an additional $250 freed up on a card.

Great stay for one night. Was there for a fishing trip. Room was clean as well as entire room. Although, this property needs a renovation. No coffee or free breakfast at all.
