The little bottles of shampoo,conditioner, and lotion was used and never replaced for new bottles. The tub kept getting clogged. The room smelled like pet urine or musty smell. The place was quiet but didn’t have much parking since they have a bar connected to the hotel. On the website it says they have a pool. True but it looks like they haven’t used it for quite some time.

I was actually surprised that our room was nice. Looks like it had been recently upgraded a few months back. But the property outside and in lobby really need upgrading. If not for my room I would have left. The pool area was very dirty. Weeds needed to be pulled. Crack everywhere. Just old and dingy. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. Breakfast was really good and attendant was super nice. Front desk to housekeepers were extremely nice as well. I would stay again.

The front desk staff and the lovely lady assisting during breakfast hours were incredibly kind! The room was decent not a luxury hotel, but clean and comfortable enough to feel at ease. The only downside was the bar attached to the hotel, which made parking challenging. We had to park across from our room.

Customer service was excellent. The location is off the highway so you can hear the cars in your room. There is a truck stop right outside the hotel. We were on the second floor. The floor by the bathroom was rotted. It felt like you were going to fall through the floor. I opened the coffee maker to fill it with water and quickly changed my mind. The best thing about this place was the friendly staff at the front desk. There is also a bar attached to the hotel. We didn’t visit it cause they allowed smoking. There were a lot of cars for it every night.

Pool was covered. Room 116 smelled and my mother had some bites on her legs, lobby was covered in towels by the window, where it leaks, breakfast was ok but needs bacon or sausage. Appreciate our early check in. Thank You

This is an older hotel, the room i got was remodeled, looked updated and nice. Hardwood floors, new tile, and decor. BUT, it was dirty. Floor had never been mopped or swiffered. I had to step on damp towel to clean the floor myself cause I couldn't stand the dirt on my feet. Also, the hotel has a bar and is extremely loud and busy at night. I stayed alone, and felt uncomfortable due to the atmosphere and being surrounded by construction workers and other men that were outside loud and drinking. Just overall unpleasant...but I didn't have much of options to choose from, cause the nicer hotels were booked.

Terrible service, water heater was out so had a cold shower, water was coming up through the floor by the bed. Only thing they said they could do for me was bring me more towels. People were fighting in front of the bar in the parking lot. Then the outside traffic coming through the parking lot was shady. Lots of marijuana stench.

Sheets had hair on them, so asked for another set. The front desk was as helpful as she could be. There is a bar on the side of the motel so motorcycles coming and going. Extremely loud in the middle of the night. Very dated and old motel Will not stay here again…

They said it was the only room and the tv didn’t work and we could take it or leave it. Since I third party booked and prepaid it was non refundable. So we felt we had no choice but take it. The hotel lobby wreaked of smoke but that was sealing in from the lively bar. Our room was next to the bar so we were unable to sleep until 2 am. The smoke swapped into our nonsmoking room as well. The blackout drapes didn’t cover the window so… We left early this morning and will not be back.

The Quality Inn of Plainview was a very comfortable place to stay on our journey across Texas!! It was quieter than expected since it is near a thoroughfare. I heard no traffic noise through the night!! The shower was hot and the towels were soft, a delightful combination. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable!!

This property is in trouble. The rooms are dirty and our room did not have a remote control for the TV. The pool looks to be unused for 20 years and a mosquito lagoon. The breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast. I’ve had in many years stay somewhere else.

The scrambled eggs for breakfast are not real eggs, some kind of fake eggs, tasted bad. Skipped a free breakfast the second morning. Inside the room was clean but, old and dated. Hairdryer was broken, tried using after shower, going to event. Contacted office, waited 20 minutes, I unpluged broken hair dryer, took it to office, she was busy checking in more guests. Quality Inn should have more than one person to help guests, mid day weekends! Waited more than 30 minutes before one was brought to room. Next time in Plainview, I will pay a little more for better service.
