Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Youngstown North-Warren/Niles by IHG

This property was currently under construction when we stayed. I didn’t think to check prior to see if it was under construction and there was no information letting us know prior our arrival. The lobby was turned into a hallway which is fine but made it interesting to enter/exit. The pool has adult only hours the first and last hour the pool is open. My son (15 y/o) was calmly swimming AND was the ONLY person in the pool and was told to get out because it was an adult only swim. Overall, the room was nice and clean and breakfast was okay.

The breakfast was outstanding. Best I’ve had in a long time. The staff when I checked in was very accommodating and friendly. I asked for a blanket, went to my car and they ran it up to the room while I was outside. Outstanding the first day. The next day the people were pleasant and nice, but I went to get my room for another night and then in the middle of checking in, she said hang on and answered the phone in front of me and proceeded to talk to a guy about his canceled room for 10 minutes until I left. I took the time to go into the building and they put me on hold for the guy who was on the phone. I was not impressed with the woman. She was pleasant, but she charged me more than the night before. Still a great hotel.

It's a great hotel. Only issue is they are renovating so some redirected services are occurring
