Breakfast was bad Hot tub was cold Wouldn’t recommend

It was an older hotel that is being remodeled in stages. Everything that has been remodeled is really nice. The room was nice and the lobby area was very nice and updated and clean. The pool area needed to be updated, but repaired at least. The pool was absolutely freezing. I like cool water but this was even way too cold for me. The kids almost didn't even go in it and that was the entire reason of getting a hotel instead of staying with family.

Hot tub was too hot to enjoy for long. Needs to be updated.

We stayed here to attend the Iola car show. While the pool was a little dirty and our room was damp even with AC on, we still found it a great hotel to stay at and at a great value. The hotel attendant was attentive to keeping the complimentary breakfast well stocked, and since we stayed multiple nights, they made up our beds, changed out our towels, and provided more toilet tissue without us asking. The hotel is also located conveniently next to a very reasonably priced diner and in walking distance to Walmart. Thank you!

The only thing I did not like was there was no elevator and I'm disabled. I was also on the second floor. Other then that the place was perfect! Awesome staff. Good breakfast! Nice pool. :D I will stay here again!

The water in the pool and hot tub should have been a lot warmer. I will comeback again.

The owners seemed to have the family living there, young kids in the hall screaming alot. Pool area needs updating and the pool was not heated. When we arrived there was 1/3 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Everything appeared very clean so no complaints there, just needed to have some things repaired or replaced.

The room is nice and clean and has everything we need. The hotel is older but has been updated.

Hotel smelled as soon as we walked in and the Room smelled like it went through a flood absolutely the worse conditions that I have ever been locked into because I booked it through Hotel.com

Nice comfortable clean room at reasonable price. Decent breakfast offered and friendly staff.

The hotel itself wasn’t bad but the room smelled like mold and was always damp. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work and the breakfast was continental but didn’t taste very good.

Shower was hard to turn on and off. The shower head had many holes plugged up. Shower head dripped most of the night. There was some black mold on the top of the bathtub. Light around the sink mirror was inadequate and made it difficult to shave and apply make up. There was a dime size hole in the bed sheet. Refuse cans at the front and rear entrance/exit were full and over flowing.

First, the staff are very nice. My room was visited daily by the housekeeper however he/she did not vacuum my room, did not clean the sink and vanity, never replaced the soap or an ice bucket liner, did not wipe down my table/desk area and very lazily made the bed. Other than leave towels, and empty trash that was about it. What bothered me the most is that each day I had to walk past a large room that contained their utility items like washer/dryer, linens, etc and what looked like an employee desk. The room was filthy with linens to be washed strewn all over the floor, total unkempt mess of things used to service hotel rooms. The floor was all full of large stains. All full of misc.items/junk. This door is left open all the time! When you walk past this open door you see this revolting disarray and it tells me what they think of their guests and room presentation. (This room almost everyone has to walk by, located just off the lobby). Keep that door shut! Other than laziness (?) there is no reason to not keep that door shut and locked! And for safety reasons, if a child wandered in there! I can't comment on the breakfast area being a late riser. Be aware that this location does not have an elevator. Carrying tons of stuff up and down stairs was not something I was expecting.

Bathroom wasn’t fully stocked room smelled smoky and musty

I stayed over the weekend recently and it was a rather upsetting stay. First, our toilet leaked so we had to use the bath towels to clean it up , and the bathroom had a stench to it. Then there was a pigeon nest in the metal part of the roof above the room we stayed in so it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. Also, there were flood lights shining right into our window and the light seeped under the curtains. The final annoyance was a dog barking half the night in the room across from ours, maybe 1 or 2 doors down. The staff interactions were all pleasant.

Our room had a terrible smell that lingered our entire stay even with the purchase of Febreze and baking soda. When we used the pullout couch there was a pair of dirty socks along with crumbs. The sheets had holes and were very worn. I would not recommend staying at this hotel for any reason.

The overall feeling was housekeeping needs to step it up and the hotel needs to update some things. The price was great, breakfast was good, and they had friendly staff. However, there was food splattered on the curtains in our room (had been there long enough to dry and start molding), the lampshades were cracked and broken, there was a splatter of something on the ceiling, and stains on the bedspread. The pillows stunk of years of old sweat, and all the pillow covers, sheets, towels, etc. were thinning badly, dingy and scratchy. Why can't they use bleach?

"Breakfast" was abysmal. Clean room. Decent bed. Just OK for what we needed. Basic. Rates during EAA week were crazy. This is an $89/night room at best.

One of the nicest properties I have stayed at for under $100 in a long time. Big room, ok breakfast, didn’t use any other amenities but was very pleasantly surprised by the room. Desk personnel was kind of inpersonal but not rude.

The staff was friendly and nice! It’s an older hotel they have attempted to make more modern, but the rooms were clean even though the stranded 2queen room was small. The beds were comfortable and the pool and hot tub were great!

The property was clean enough for one night, but the room needs quite a bit of updating. We couldn’t charge our cell phones, because the equipment that they had that had USB ports was dead. The lamp in the room had some rust on it. The desk was in very poor condition as well.

My back and leg was killing me, the mattress was comfortable. I slept very well.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and we're traveling for Airventure in Oshkosh. We got a room with a hot tub which was great and used it multiple times.The room was big and everything seemed to be updated. The king bed was comfy and I loved the blanket. The only thing we really didn't like about the room was the corner shower in the bathroom.Very small and the walls of it were bowed. The breakfast was just ok but you can't expect much with this type of hotel. We just had the waffles every morning. Overall was a great stay and would stay again.

Easy to find and good service.

No cleaning of the room during our 3 night stay. Couldn't understand the front desk person during check-in. No receipt!!!!! Entry door at side of building never locked, though it said it was locked 24 hours!! Uncomfortable beds. We have stayed here every year for 3 years, just keeps getting worse. Not planning on staying here next year!!

Room was very nice clean. Breakfast was really good. Allowed us to eat in pool area and have a few drinks just no bottles allowed. The only real issue was ether the computer system was really slow or it was the lady helping us. Over 20 mins to check in. Everything went great once the gentleman behind the desk took over. Would recommend and will stay again.

Satisfied with all aspects. Everything in our room looked clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Service desk was very friendly.

I paid for the room with Travelocity, and when I checked in I was charged again at the property again. I am now waiting (hoping) for a refund

There was a drunk man that came into the pool, with alcohol and drinking it. He offered it multiple times to people under the age of 21 and talked about wanting to kill a woman. When staff was notified they did nothing about it.

Managing couple are very friendly and genuinely wish you well on your travels as you leave. Place was super clean and worth the extra drive to have somewhere quiet to relax after the GreenBay Packer game.

Awesome, best word to describe my stay. The room was exactly what I wanted. It was clean well maintained in a good location. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I was looking for a hotel in Green Bay, but i am so happy we found New London. There are so many good restaurants, stores, and awesome sights to see in town. We will be coming back again.

The hotel was 20 minutes out of our way, but well worth the extra time. The front desk staff was courteous, efficient, and personable. The room was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator that worked well. The pool area was very clean and well-maintained.

Nice clean quiet hotel.

Clean rooms and good amenities. Pool was nice along with the hot tub. Continental breakfast was more then I expected with warm options; waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and sausage gravy.

This hotel was clean and that’s my number one priority for picking a place to stay. The mattresses were a little firm for my liking, but again clean. The breakfast was less than desirable, but typical for these types of places. The staff was more than friendly, so overall I’m happy with my stay.

Just needed a place to sleep so wasnt there long. Clean, husband enjoyed waffles for breakfast

Room was good for the price and location of property. Only negative was the lack of options and quantity of food for breakfast. Food containers were low both mornings I was there for breakfast.

The eggs were rubbery, the sausage full of grisle. The waffles were good. No hot chocolate and only one kind of tea. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.
