Immediately upon walking in front desk insisted I pay $30 more due to arriving at 2:00pm CST instead of 3pm I explained the situation in detail, only car in the lot, only guest in the lobby, she did nit care and was rude, told her I’d just leave and get another hotel after driving 7 hours to get to her before my event which started at 3pm. She finally let me check in. Poor customer service skills, no elevator had to carry everything up by hand and no air in hallways, 100 degree weekend.

It’s just tired. There is NO elevator….couuld have been disastrous but managed. I did not see any mention of that on your website. Breakfast just adequate but not nearly enough for those who wanted to eat the full meal. Ran out of everything. So if it were an emergency I might stay again because of the cleanliness but otherwise a no.

When I got to my “clean room”, there was a used hand towel on the bathroom floor and one of the bed pillows was laying in the middle of the bed for unknown reasons. In the lobby, I counted 4 “out of order signs” within ten yards. These included the trans fund machine, snack vending machine, soft drink vending machine, and the fruit juice dispenser in the breakfast room by the lobby. As it turned out, there was another “out of order”. When I asked for a receipt, the printer was out of order. I have stayed here numerous times in the past. It appears to be under new management. I will not return. I have a 10 second video of the “out of order” signs if you find this unbelievable.

The indoor pool and the fulll breakfast are why we booked here. The full and hot tub were murky and not appealing. The breakfast, the gravy was watered down, half the juice dispensers never worked, the waffle machine wasn’t plugged in the first day until I asked about it. It never warmed up enough to actually cook a waffle all the way through during the three days we were there. Sausage was floating in grease. We had a light over the bed burnt out asked for that to be changed it never was repaired. We booked a handicap room. It had a tall bathtub to negotiate to use the shower. The bed was so tall I had to climb up to get into it and I am 5’8. Was a huge disappointment. Do not recommend.

The staff that I did interact with were very friendly and quick to assist. However, the room was not that great. We had to kill a roach and the bathroom was dirty. Someones bar of soap was left. There were also mysterious stains on the floor. We didn't bother asking to move as we arrived in late, were just staying the night, and left really early.

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Stained bed sheets - hair on the bed. Stained towels - and not just random individual stains, but some were literally a light tan color compared to the other whiter ones. Remote control was grimey, room was in disarray, the hot water dispenser in the morning was rusty...I mean I stayed at some lower quality hotels in my time and generally am not that hard to please, but this sucked. It looks WAY better on the outside than it is on the inside.

My window had no curtain. I got in so late and was tired that I just dealt with it the first night. Next morning I told front desk my window didn’t have a curtain. She went to laundry and handed me one. I looked at her then went upstairs to figure out how to hang it. Turns out I needed 2 curtains as the one she gave me didn’t cover the whole window. But I needed to leave so I hung it in the middle of the window and checked out early the following day.

It was ok. It was loud. Apparently the guy across the hall thought he was a Spanish opera singer. He in fact wasn’t bad but it was 5 am. It was a little awkward that there was a futon bed behind the front desk. I also opted to pay in person and they wouldn’t honor that. They charged my card anyway. The room was just alright. You get what you pay for. I’ve definitely stayed in other places that were kept up a lot better.

The lady at the front desk was pleasant enough but, what got me was I told her I had a service animal and she stated that I had to pay a $15. fee. I told her No I do not. Service animals are free. Then she looked on her computer and asked for my papers. Which I had. She made a copy and gave me my key. She asked me If I was the only one staying. I told her yes, just me. I had a friend with me who was going to help me get my things into the room. She said Well, there would be an extra charge if there were another person. I told her No just me. Like she didn't believe me. And, I felt like She was just trying to get $15 more out of me. Because I don't believe she did not know about the service animal policy. Then, I get into the room and it is nothing like the room in the photo on the website that I paid for. Also, the door frame and bathroom door frame looked really nasty. It needs a good paint job. The T.V. is small. The microwave was atrocious. Overall, I was not happy with my room but, I was too tired to get a refund and go some place else.

Upon checking in, the young person at the front desk insisted that there were no bugs in the hotel. Before we rested in the room, we inspected the beds. Upon inspection we decided to check out right away. Upon check out, the front desk argued with us and two older staff members came out and told us we could have a full refund. We left the premises and found a different hotel

When we arrived in our room, the smell was awful! We had to go buy Ferberize! TV didn't work, but they came and cheerfully fixed that right away. The bathroom is in need of repair, old and scuffed up. our stay was because we attended a concert at Buffalo Run Casino.

I was expecting a bottom line property. It was very clean, there were no sloppy or rough edges. The room was small but well appointed. The bathroom, shower and all just seemed to fit. When I go back to Miami, OK for business, which I will be doing, I WILL stay here as opposed to the higher end properties across the street.

Stayed here for one night during a family road trip. There are no elevators. My niece looked at the pool and immediately decided against taking a swim because there was mold growing in it. Upon entering the room, we were hit by a very chemical-like smell, akin to what you would find walking into a hair salon. One of the comforters had what looked like cookie or bread crumbs and spare change all over it. The bathroom walls were visibly filthy. There was no hot water, only lukewarm. The following morning for breakfast, the food was practically inedible. The sausage was the one thing that tasted decent. Waffle batter was watery and produced hollow waffles. Gravy was the consistency of chicken broth. Needless to say, we did not finish breakfast and ended up at McDonald's instead. The cleanliness of the breakfast presentation was, for lack of a better word, questionable. I understand that Microtel is a budget choice for hotel stays, but the lack of cleanliness is really inexcusable. We will not be choosing this chain for any stays again.
