The property’s pictures are SEVERAL years old. There is only 1 housekeeper on duty per day. The room floors aren’t cleaned well. The shower needed a better cleaning. There were no sheets for the pull out bed. The attendant had programmed our key for one night instead of 3. They ran out of breakfast on day 2 30 minutes before breakfast closed and didn’t refill. The pool was closed for two day for ‘maintenance’. The pool was one of the reasons why we chose The Clarion. When we asked the receptionist, she was quite abrupt in her non-answer. Overall, will not stay there again. Would not recommend.

The front desk staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Right off we noticed an odd chemical smell so they moved us to another room. A lot of humidity in the rooms. The bath tub had been freshly painted. Nice floors but filthy. We walked from the bed to the bathroom with bare feet. Black on the bottoms. The pool felt great but was in desperate needs of a good cleaning. Breakfast was decent.

My room was okay. The staff were polite and professional. The only thing that bothered me was that darn pool. Like seriously I get the season for pool time is over but why not get it cleaned out. The pool site was just nasty, other than that, it's a fairly decent place for 2 nights.

Owner took almost 2 days to change out our fridge. After waiting and mentioning it every half day until I demanded he come and do it. There was cobwebs on the lights and dirty floor when we walked in. Almost the sink was barely draining and the toilet was so loud it would whistle after flushing for anout 5 minutes... extremely loud so we closed the bathroom door after exiting due to that. The pool was nice but all 4 days no one cleaned it or skimmed it.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming of our two large dogs. Inexpensive per dog fee of $15. Many places say "dog friendly" but then charge $75/per dog and only if they are tiny dogs. This Clarion was truly dog friendly.

The room smelled moldy and the bathroom like pee. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was cleaned, but old and discolored in the edges etc. Swimming pool was clean, but also old. The breakfast buffet was good enough: waffle iron, muffins, toast, different cereal, instant oatmeal, eggs, sausage, and good coffee (dark and regular roast). It was simply the most economical option, but I would not stay again.

Room was exceptionally clean all except a water bottle left in the trashcan. But overall everything else was very clean. And I say that having been an executive housekeeper for hotels. The staff is the best for customer service of any hotel around the Cleveland area in my experience. I highly recommend the hotel for cleanliness and staff. The breakfast is an added bonus too!

The front desk staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Right off we noticed an odd chemical smell so they moved us to another room. A lot of humidity in the rooms. The bath tub had been freshly painted. Nice floors but filthy. We walked from the bed to the bathroom with bare feet. Black on the bottoms. The pool felt great but was in desperate needs of a good cleaning. Breakfast was decent.

Roaches crawling on the wall and strong cigarette odor. It is non smoking now, but fresh paint on cigarette tar walls does not resolve the smell. Even the lamps were sticky (and rusty) from previous cigarette usage. For your own health, pass on this place.

No issues except for the rooms could have been cleaner. Had "grocery store" feet after walking around barefoot on the LVT. The bathroom toilet was not very clean under the seat (dried splatter at the back where lid and seat attach, along with hair). Bathroom floor was as dirty as the rest of the unit's floor. Just needed a real good mopping and bleaching of the bathroom, that's all.

When I booked this motel the pictures looked good. However the rooms were nothing like the pictures. Our first room was dirty, walls in bathroom were dirty, the caulk in the tub was black, the shower curtain was filthy. The whole bathroom smelled of pee. The tub was not suitable for elderly people. There was dead bugs on the floor. Asked for a different room and while it wasn't as dirty the bathroom smelled worse than the first room of pee. I would not recommend this motel unless some major renovations have been made.

The hotel was older, which in itself is not an issue. When this is a fact, maintenance is a must. The closet door handle was off on the inside, making it difficult to use. The shower rod was hanging loose from the wall, one of us held it for the other to shower, we reported it but it was not repaired, the toilet didn't flush unless the handle was held down and "wiggled", The sink had a dead fly crushed onto the counter. The hotel was full but no attempt was made to make up for the issues. We left a day early, I couldn't stay another night. I personnel were polite but nothing was taken fixed. The hotel was open corridor and the noise by 7 am was enough to wake the dead. So no we didn't have a good stay.

Everything was good except the bathroom. The toilet didn't want to flush, the shower was stuck on power wash and the shower curtain didn't want to stay closed because the rod was loose and sagging making it really easy to flood the bathroom floor.

The room was clean. The condition of the furniture and older amenities made it feel a bit tacky. I would probably choose a nicer hotel next time. The price wasn’t that much less than the Hampton or other places at the same location. We were across from the pool that was supposed to close at 9:00 but at 9:30 kids were still yelling and playing at the pool. They were just having fun but we were very tired and it was a distraction. The bed was comfortable and clean. If you don’t want upscale it’s ok. I just prefer something a little nicer. Not a lot of highway traffic which was a plus. The toilet made you feel like you were sitting on the floor. The elevator wasn’t working but we were on the first floor. My wife has trouble with stairs so it would been an issue if we were upstairs. Evidently, the elevator has been broken for a while.

Owner took almost 2 days to change out our fridge. After waiting and mentioning it every half day until I demanded he come and do it. There was cobwebs on the lights and dirty floor when we walked in. Almost the sink was barely draining and the toilet was so loud it would whistle after flushing for anout 5 minutes... extremely loud so we closed the bathroom door after exiting due to that. The pool was nice but all 4 days no one cleaned it or skimmed it.

The property’s pictures are SEVERAL years old. There is only 1 housekeeper on duty per day. The room floors aren’t cleaned well. The shower needed a better cleaning. There were no sheets for the pull out bed. The attendant had programmed our key for one night instead of 3. They ran out of breakfast on day 2 30 minutes before breakfast closed and didn’t refill. The pool was closed for two day for ‘maintenance’. The pool was one of the reasons why we chose The Clarion. When we asked the receptionist, she was quite abrupt in her non-answer. Overall, will not stay there again. Would not recommend.

Room was exceptionally clean all except a water bottle left in the trashcan. But overall everything else was very clean. And I say that having been an executive housekeeper for hotels. The staff is the best for customer service of any hotel around the Cleveland area in my experience. I highly recommend the hotel for cleanliness and staff. The breakfast is an added bonus too!

The front desk staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Right off we noticed an odd chemical smell so they moved us to another room. A lot of humidity in the rooms. The bath tub had been freshly painted. Nice floors but filthy. We walked from the bed to the bathroom with bare feet. Black on the bottoms. The pool felt great but was in desperate needs of a good cleaning. Breakfast was decent.

We were looking for a convenient place to stay, near I-75 and with an EV charger. This property checked all the boxes. When we arrived at 9 pm, the charming front desk agent helped us quickly and thoroughly. Our room was on the second-floor, overlooking the pool (which had just closed but looked beautiful). Our bed and pillows were delightfully comfortable. For the "star rating" of this property, our room and experience were excellent. The breakfast was ample, hot, and just right for a long day's drive.

The room smelled moldy and the bathroom like pee. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was cleaned, but old and discolored in the edges etc. Swimming pool was clean, but also old. The breakfast buffet was good enough: waffle iron, muffins, toast, different cereal, instant oatmeal, eggs, sausage, and good coffee (dark and regular roast). It was simply the most economical option, but I would not stay again.

The room looked clean but there was hair in the bed and the two rooms I booked both smelt very poor and out side the rooms also smelt like urine it was fowl. The toilet paper holder was coming out the wall and the toilet barely flushed. Pictures online made the place seem pretty nice and it was very disappointing after arriving.

I really can't say good enough things about this place. It is not a 5 star establishment. But it is really nice for where it is located. The staff is extremely friendly. I absolutely adored the guy behind the front desk. He was very welcoming and I noticed that he was very sweet to all of his customers. The place is clean. The pool look good. My kids enjoyed it. I enjoyed it.

It's a cheap overnight stay for an Interim stop, it's close to the exit. Rooms were pretty Clean. If NOISE bothers you, get a room facing WEST, not one facing EAST (closer to I-75, more noise from trucks etc) Breakfast was "OK" the Standard Eggs and sausage, etc with muffins or toast or yogurt. Coffee was good, that's VERY important to me !
