We stayed at this hotel for a trip to shop and visit Great Lakes Crossing Mall. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and hot items were switched each day. The pool was saltwater and clean. My only "conplaint" would be that the photos show a hot tub in the pool area, but the hot tub has been filled in, and the pool is small and very shallow. This made for a very crowded pool. Also, the pool was constantly out of towels which we never seemed to notice until we were already wet, and the pool area floor was a smooth tile which was incredibly slippery for our little ones who fell even when walking. Overall, great hotel but the pool let a little to be wanted. I would recommend updating the photo so that expectation matches reality for future customers. Thanks for a grwat stay!

The picture listed on the website shows and hot tub in the pool area, there is no hot tub!! Need to update the picture as that was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Will not be going back.

Only disappointment was the pool. So much smaller than the typical hotel.

Family of 6 traveling. 3 adults, 3 kids ages 11, 5 & 4. Booked this hotel for the pool which looked like the water was dyed blue to hide algae. The pool definitely needs an remodel upgrade. As for the room; really bare minimum and not detail cleaned as I would expect for a hotel. Ice bucket wasn’t deep cleaned. Room was very dusty. Ants covering the heat unit below the window. Outdated shower. Zero amenities in the room. Fridge did not keep cold. The front desk staff was very kind. The cleaning staff was very very old which explains why the room wasn’t detailed. Bare minimum cleaning. The complimentary breakfast was good but the breakfast staff was miserable and did not want to be bothered. This hotel as a lot of potential but it’s only as good as it’s management and it appears that management is not a hospitality passionate one. Darn!

We were really hoping for a hot tub which was one of the main reasons why i booked this hotel but it turned out the pictures were outdated and there was no hot tub. Other than that everything was great.

Staff was wonderful. Awesome room. Pool was slimy and unusable during our staff. Very disappointing.

The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The breakfast was pretty good but not a ton of variety. Can’t complain considering it was included. Our main concern was actually the pool. We have two children so the pool is a huge draw of any hotel. The first day we went for a swim, the pool looked super murky and you could not see your feet in the shallow end (~3ft deep). The second day, same murkiness and this time the entire surface was covered in a fine layer of silt/bubbles (whatever it was, it didn't look inviting). The maintenance man said that the pump had stopped and so it would clear up in a while as he got it going again. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait around for that considering we had to check out shortly thereafter. The front desk staff were friendly enough.

The staff was great and accommodating. The rooms were nice! The pool on the other hand wasn’t pleasant. It wasn’t temperature regulated and very cold so it wasn’t enjoyable at all. Otherwise the stay was great!

We traveled as a family 4 hours and book this hotel after checking all in i then find out the pool is closed number 1 reason we picked this hotel for the pool and there wesite didnt say anything about it pretty disappointed in that

I went to bed to wake up in the middle of the night and was being eaten alive by some type of bug in my bed. My legs were all bitten up. Upon examination of the sheets and matters pas it was obvious that there was hair from someone who's hair was much longer than mine. To say the least it was a terrible experience. it has been almost a week and my legs are still itching.

Friendly staff, clean updated room

The room was only serviced once in the 7 days. I had to ask to get it done. I also had to ask for towels because it wasn’t serviced.

Front desk staff were lovely! Hotel itself is quite nice, bed was comfy.. only issue was I think housekeeping could’ve done a slightly better job as we found a bottle wrapper on a chair and crumbs on the couch!

Room was nice and clean.

Loved the size of the room, it was alot bigger than i thought it would be. Couch has a pull out which was convenient. Great hotel for the price. Woman at the front desk was exceptionally nice. Zero noise issues. The only complaint, which really isnt a big deal, is that they didnt have a blow dryer in the room.

Wonderful staff, clean and well laid out rooms. Comfortable and modern.

Very clean and comfortable. I really liked the layout of the lobby and the room. It’s perfect for anyone staying for business. Both the room and the lobby are very work friendly. Staff was great and breakfast was good.

Everything was great. My only recommendation would be a new mattress on that bed. The one on it now is very soft & dips in the center.

Noisy AC/heater, bathroom was below average in terms of condition. Large stain - main room rug.

We love this property we have stayed here many times. The problem is if you stay more than one day they do not clean or restock your room, We were there 4 not good. It is no longer new and the finishes are getting tried. The staff is very nice and food is good but she is getting old.

We stay here at this hotel quite often when we fly in from Boston to Rochester hills. Its been always pretty much friendly and accommodating but this one time myself and a couple of friends were sitting in the lobby where they serve coffee and the manager on duty this day was a white heavy set female with black hair and blotches on her face walked into our area and threatened to call the Oakland County Sheriff's dept on us for being loud. At this time we felt that she wanted to start a problem with us due to if we were to loud why wouldn't she just ask us to please lower our voices and not just threaten us with the police. By the way it was around 10am not midnight and there was no one in the lobby that we were disturbing. In all honestly we felt threatened and intimidated by her throwing her managers position at us. We have been staying at this hotel for the last 3 years since the location and hospitality had worked for us but i honestly feel that corporate Marriott should send this manager to anger management and learn how to speak to customers. Or in all honesty maybe she'd be better off working in house keeping. Once again being in customer service for the last 25 years this is unacceptable and we felt that she was looking for a problem. Late decision to grab a room after a concert. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. They even gave us a 2-hour checkout extension.

Great visit other then we had some very noisy neighbors stay next to us wished the staff would have told them to quiet down as it was 2am

The staff was amazing, especially our breakfast host. So friendly and helpful with the young kids we had.

Rooms were very clean. We could not find the light switch for the white light at the desk… And our only issue was pretty usual, I called during the day to add a staff member‘s name to the reservation so she could check in when she arrived, and it was not done correctly. I had to go down and finagle the reservation to allow her access to her room. Just frustrating because I may not have been there and she would’ve been out in the cold.

Everything was as expected. Room was great, just like the photos. Daytime staff were awesome, night staff- rude, arrogant and judgmental because we returned to the hotel at midnight, she assumed we were all in intoxicated and treated my husband terribly. Old lady needs to find a new job. Other than that beautiful room, beautiful stay and I would highly recommend.

We needed a place to stay after a concert at Pine Knob. We’ve stayed at this location before and find it quiet, convenient and the staff are super friendly!

This was a quick trip for a school event. My family of 5 had plenty of room and the breakfast was awesome. Will stay here again if in the area!

Hotel was in a convenient location. Room was spacious. Bed wasn't comfortable at all. Breakfast was much to be desired. Had better at lesser hotels.

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend in town visiting family! It was a beautiful hotel! The lobby was clean, modern, welcoming. The breakfast was amazing (adios covid)! The pool area was clean. Rooms were amazing! We will def be back!

Breakfast with few options but generally good

I was disappointed that there was no hot tub unlike the picture. Also the pool is tiny! The beds are uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok, my kids were not impressed with the options.
