SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Airport South

The grounds was very clean. The room was clean and the beds was comfy. The pool was cloudy was the only thing I had found wrong. It was very quite and warm feeling. Would definitely stay again.

The facilities were clean and decent. The pool was small but adequate.

The pictures are misleading when it comes to the pool. Pool is very small and weird. Do coffee stands in lobbies usually not have coffee in the morning before the continental breakfast? 6 am and no coffee when the room only has one cup/pod?

Everyone staff member I had contact with was very friendly. Breakfast was standard. The pictures made it look the there was a hot Tub, but it was just a shallow area connected to the pool. We came with two preschool aged kids who were excited to swim. The pool was closed until noon in the morning. They were draining it for some reason and refilling it. The kids were very disappointed, but the staff let us know we could use their sister hotel next door and swim. That made our morning! Both beds in our room seemed very comfy. Only complaint would be the frosted doors in the bathroom. Could not turn on the light when it was dark without the risk of waking everyone up. Lots of restaurant choices within a mile. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in the area.

We called the hotel for a airport shuttle and waited over an 1 and it never showed up spoke to the hotel 4 different times and they said they were not sure why they were not there and said if we took a Uber they would reimburse us. We were a family of 6 at 11pm and it was 80$ the hotel refused to reimburse us us very disappointing.

This hotel is great for both Creation Museum and the Ark. Great breakfast. Small pool

Tv didn’t work, toilet kept running, toilets also flushed loudly as our neighbors flushing sounded like it was in our room, the room wouldn’t cool properly or evenly making it hot under the covers, and the pool was cloudy. Also, the Wi-Fi password wouldn’t work and they had to give me the “code” instead which did work. The issue with this is that the staff seemed to be aware of the issue but the company wasn’t doing anything to fix it, so why not just give the code out to begin with and save everyone some time. The staff was helpful and friendly enough and the breakfast was “meh” for fake eggs and frozen sausage and ham. Overall, the stay was fine as I find most of these things to be rather minor issues.

Front desk staff was so helpful and pleasant! Airport shuttle was very convenient. The hotel was super clean and was walking distance to Target. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Hotel was clean with nice rooms. The shuttle service was lacking. I had to wait almost an hour at the airport to get picked up while watching at least 3 Marriott, Doubletree, and Quality Inn shuttles pass by. I called two times and it still took too long. Also, I asked the front desk what time I should leave in the morning to catch my flight and was told at 5. Our family was ready to go at 5am to be told we had to sign up for the shuttle and it was full. I didn’t trust it to come back in time so we took an Uber. The main reason we chose this hotel was because the shuttle to and from the airport and that was a big let down. If you need to take a shuttle, I recommend staying elsewhere, otherwise it was great.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to have the shuttle service to the airport. I called to verify that this was an option only to discover that the shuttle was not available until after my flight boarding time. There is a sign on the check in desk. Not acceptable

Clean rooms

Staff was friendly. Super clean public area and rooms. Good restaurant choices in driving distance. Housekeeping was shortstaffed I guess, so only every other day trash/towels service.

Very comfortable with clean rooms, dinning and pool. Rooms are cleaned ince a week and serviced every 2 days. Breakfast changed every day so as not to get boring. Couch in the room was a plus.

It was fine, but we found hairs in all the towels and the price was very high for the condition of the room.

Great hotel, friendly staff. Suggest that rooms have more towel racks to hang up wet towels as housekeepers do not clean every day.

The hotel was good overall. The housekeeping skipped us twice on a 6 day stay. We only wanted housekeeping every other day, but they didn't come by. The one time they did by, they missed cleaning obvious issues in the bathroom. The separate shower room has a light switch over the sink, that turns on the fan in the shower. the shower light operates separately. And the fans sound like a 747. If you get a room with a king bed, the A/C blows directly on whoever draws that side of the bed. Nothing major, but you asked.

Easy access to airport, clean and quiet. Rooms were large. Did not like the bathroom set-up with pocket doors and toilet being separate from shower.

The room we stayed in was on the first floor with a light right outside the room, the blackout curtains did not help with keeping the light out. The curtains also had little holes in it from wear and tear which let light in also. I did not go ask to switch rooms because as I understood they were sold out for the night.

This is the only place my family and i want to stay from now on. Its so spacious, clean and you have to love the divided bathrooms - one was a toilet and sink and the other was a sink and shower. So convenient when travelling with the family! Super comfortable bed, decent breakfast. Great stay overall!

Nice spacious clean room. Only complaint, the shower and toilet doors are frosted glass. If you turn the lights on in either room at night you’re going to wake someone up. Close to the airport but didn’t hear planes only car traffic. Not loud enough to keep me awake. Turfway Park Racetrack immediately adjacent if you’re going there.

There was no hot water for the shower. I was told this was a common problem when large groups of people used the facilities at the same time. Isn't this the purpose of a hotel? To accommodate large groups of people at the same time? I could hear the toilets flush from other rooms above me very clearly, very loud and very often. I could here others thru the walls. It is like the place was constructed out of tissue paper. Not how a hotel should be and not how other Springhill Suites presented.

This is a nice hotel but the layout of the room is odd. The bathroom is small and then there’s another sink in a super sma bathroom with no counter. The tv is not near the bed.

The sofa was a joke. The most uncomfortable thing I ever sat upon. There was one cushion to be shared by two people. The sofa was as hard as a brick. Useless. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast servers were very attentive and accommodating. The common areas were comfortable and relaxing.

The free breakfast was very good. The suite was excellent, comfortable with a large shower and separate toilet area.

Room was a good size. Beds were way to soft and not comfortable. Breakfast was just ok.

The hotel was very nice, walking distance to Turfway was a plus. The heater in our room must have had something wrong with it, everytime it kicked on during the night it made such a loud clanking noise for a bit when it started up, it kept us up throughout the night.

Janitorial staff, and all of the employees were absolutely great! I will NEVER stay there again or recommend it due to a terrible experience with the manager on duty 12/23/22 in the morning - tall woman. The heater in our room was not working, I suffer from asthma and the cold room flared it, having to use my inhaler to make it through the night. Did not call front desk because I knew the hotel was full. In the morning on our way to breakfast we ask the front desk person if we could get it checked. I asked for another room and the manager said NO. The tech said that the unit would need to be replaced and that it would take several hours. I waited 3 hours in a conference room and in the lobby. I replied to an email stating that I was denied another room and the manager came and yelled at me, she said that I had posted lies, which I did not. And because of it she kicked us out and said she would give me 15 minutes to leave her property. We barely said anything because in her rant she yelled to me from across the lobby. She called the police to kick us out in the middle of a snow storm. They did not come so she said she would let us stay but if we posted anything on hotels.com that we would have to leave. NO ONE SHOULD BE THREATENED OR FACE RETALIATION for posting their experience. What she did was unprofessional and uncalled for and give that hotel a really bad name. Our stay at the SpringHill Suites was absolutely amazing. The staff, especially the ladies working the front desk overnight, were absolutely fantastic. The hotel was very accommodating, the pool was wonderful for a trip with little ones, and the breakfast was fantastic. We will stay at this property the next time we are in the area!

Rude night staff. No trash cans or liners. No extra blankets or sheets for the pull out sofa and pull out had crumbs in it when pulled out. O

The front desk person Monika was so nice. She even came to our room when we had an issue with the heating. She was the epitome of what service should be. Service with a smile. Great place to stay

They didnt tell u about the amenities. If you needed something, u had to get it yourself. I put dirty towels in the the hall, they took them and didnt give me clean towels. The staff wasnt friendly.

Convenient to walk to Turfway Racing and Gaming

Right in front of Turfway Park and far enough away from interstate for peace and quiet. Clean throughout and decent breakfast.

Perfect location, close to everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean and update facility. Breakfast was good. The king bed we had was not comfortable. It was hard, lumpy and the sheet kept coming off. Airport is very close and loud during the night.

We chose this property because it was located in between the Ark and the Creation Museum. Great location!

Good location to area restaurants

It is a good location and very clean…just seemed loud as it is near the airport and gets a lot of traffic in regards to guests. Lots of running down the hallways and talking you could hear thru the walls, but it is clean and safe, so we appreciated our stay.

Close to Turfway

It was very nice and spacious. The breakfast was an amazing selection of hot and cold foods and beverages.

This airport hotel is only a short drive from the CVG value parking. It is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is only OK, but the staff seems nice.

We were only there for a very short stay prior to an early flight. Everything was great except the mattress was very uncomfortable and the coffee was not hot. Otherwise, we enjoyed our very short stay.
