La Quinta by Wyndham Belton - Temple South

The main desk person was not as friendly as usual but was nice. The room was nice and clean. The pool was a little chilly but swimable the hottub was barely warm and the bubbler switch did not work. Breakfast had a nice variety.

I was in a business trip and this hotel was great. Indoor pool and hot tub was amazing. Clean bedding 10/10

The manager was very helpful and courteous when our A/C stopped working in the room. Breakfast was good and the hot tub was relaxing.

Nice comfortable room and bed. I loved all the 5 pillows. An older property but pretty clean and decent. Pool was out of service on the 2nd and 3rd day of my stay. Easy check in and out and courteous service personnel. Even though right off the highway it was fairly quiet.

We love this place clean, updated rooms and plenty of parking if you are towing a trailer. We will be stay here again!

Clean modern room, nice well stocked breakfast, quiet. Was hoping for an indoor pool, but it was open to the outside and we arrived on a very cold night, so we had a really cold dip in the jacuzzi!

Disappointing Stay – Did Not Meet Expectations My experience at this hotel did not meet expectations. I booked this property specifically for the indoor pool and, more importantly, the hot tub—neither of which were available during my stay. There was no work being done on either amenity while I was there, and I was not informed at the time of booking or prior to arrival that they would be unavailable. Additionally, the elevators were out of service. After traveling from Chicago in below-freezing temperatures to DFW and then driving an additional three hours to spend time with family, having to repeatedly carry luggage up and down the stairs was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. The breakfast options were also very subpar and added to the overall disappointment. Ultimately, the experience was so unsatisfactory that we did not even stay until checkout. We chose to finish our stay with family instead, as the hotel provided little more than a bed and warm—though not even hot—water. Given the multiple amenity outages, lack of communication, and overall inconvenience, I believe some form of compensation is warranted. I would appreciate a partial refund or appropriate credit for this stay, as the experience did not reflect what was advertised or paid for.

They could only provide a slightly firmer irregular pillow (three inches thick on one side & four inches thick on the other. Cleanliness is an issue. Our room was not vacuumed during our five day stay. Tub was not cleaned during this time either and was quite dirty when we left. Carpet in room was dirty and made our feet black on the bottom.

Stayed at for a night. The hotel is basic but extremely clean. The room was tidy, and the bed was comfortable. If you’re looking for a simple, clean place to stay, this hotel does the job.

Room was spotless and the staff was very courteous

The door to the bathroom would not stay closed, and the fan inside the bathroom was not working. The curtains were ripped and the sheets had a stain on them. The second day after room service came to clean, I noticed that they didn't clean the toilet. The breakfast was excellent and well stocked (very good coffee). The front desk personnel were very nice and helpful. They have a large beautifully decorated lobby with computers and printers if you needed.

This was a great stay. A little pricey for the level of hotel, but it was also a high demand weekend. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Everything was clean. Felt very safe. Staff was wonderful and worked to fix some issues with our booking from their system.

I booked this hotel for its hot tub. At no time was it posted or mentioned on the website or at check in that the hot tub doesn’t work. I was told after I went to get in it that it has not worked for a while and just hasn’t been fixed. The heater/AC in the room had a thermostat that was stuck at 58 degrees so when you tried to turn on the heater to 70degrees it would heat the room to 100 degrees and when you switched on the AC function it thought the room temperature was 58 so it didn’t come on. The staff was very friendly however the issues we had could not be fixed by amazing desk personnel. Room and hotel were clean and comfortable otherwise. The issue is that maintenance of the building is lacking.

Very nice facility. Everything looked new/updated and clean. We had a very spacious king room. I love the color choices used in the design (yes the aesthetics matter to me and impact which hotel I choose). Room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot on a slide out drawer and an easy to reach plug. I have seen other hotels try to put the coffee pot on a sliding drawer, but the cord didn’t reach a plug. The lighting in the bathroom was exceptional and great for applying makeup. Breakfast had many options including hot breakfast items. The front staff was friendly and very helpful with check in and check out.

Overall, the stay was fine. The rom was very humid.

Nice spacious king room! Got in late so didn’t use the amenities. The lobby was nice and bright. Breakfast was good. Located right off the highway but couldn’t hear it.

It was a beautifully kept hotel. As soon as we walked in we noticed how clean and how good it smelled. Our room was great. The employee Tony at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Sean was very accommodating with last minute changes including date changes. Check in was extremely quick! Thank you Sean!

We had a few hick-ups while staying in regards to our family within our several rooms. A shout out to Mr. Shawn and Mrs. Tina. They helped us quickly, professionally, & very friendly. This hotel will be on our list for future use.

The service and help the young man at the front desk provided was above and beyond. All staff were friendly, cheerful. The rooms were very nice.

The staff is fantastic, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast area was clean, well-supplied, and tasty. The housekeeping staff was also so friendly and helpful. We spent 3 nights there and we were impressed with the excellence of this hotel. We will be back to this hotel when in the area.

Hotel front desk was unwelcoming from the moment we walked up. Hotel smelled awful and when we got to our room it was disgusting. Something all over the curtains, lights didn’t work, smelled disgusting. Immediately l went back down to the front desk and said we’re not staying here give us our money back. They “offered” to get us a different room. No way we’re we staying there. Then the manager John Dossey refused to give us our money back despite the above and the fact we immediately left the room. Save your money and drive 10 minutes north to Temple.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. But they had trouble making keys to my room so they kept us waiting from doing what we wanted to do. The bathroom door would only open if u pulled up on the door handle.

When I arrived, I had to wait several minutes for somebody to check me in. No sign or ability to inform anybody that I was here. Our door into our room would not close unless I slammed the door. The ice machine on our floor, had no ice.

This is a great place to stay when attending an event. You can walk or drive. You are right next to it. Nice hotel, nice people, nice room, comfortable bed. I really enjoyed our stay.

Was in town for an event at the Cadence Center. Truly easy safe walking to/from hotel and Center. My room viewed the Center. Quiet hotel, no outside noise disturbance. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in shower. Room had extra TV for gaming. Hotel has gym, indoor pool and spa. Didn’t use. Breakfast was good!!! Lots of shopping and restaurants within 5-10 minute drive. Hotel staff all friendly. Had a maintenance issue that was resolved in 10-15 minutes. (Had friends stay in the new/under construction hotel next door. They hated it and left after one night). If in the area again, I would absolutely stay here. I recommend.

Easy place to stay if attending an event at the Expo

Great property to stay at if you have an event at the Bell County Expo Center. You can walk to event very conveniently.

Parking with a small trailer was not a problem. Breakfast was good and replenished as needed. Included fresh fruit, bacon, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. Easy to get back on the highway heading South. A little dicey finding your way into their parking lot if you are headed South. Comfortable and quiet. Would stop again.

I’ve stayed here several times; very nice and convenient. Staff is always very helpful. The area is a little noisy, but that’s part of being next to a busy road. I will stay here again.

This La Quinta Inn was clean and the rooms smelled great. I was going to the Bell County Expo, so it was in a very convenient location as well. Check-in and out was quick and easy.

Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, plenty of parking. Easy to get to but restaurants were several miles away.

One of the best stays recently. The staff was welcoming, the room very clean, the grounds and surroundings safe, and the breakfast had many options.
