It smelled like mold, there was animal hair on the comforter. The bathroom was so tiny that you could barely open the door. No place to park in front of room. And they overcharged me.

The motel room was filthy the shower curtain was moldy the rug hadn’t been vacuumed for months. Garage under the chair and loveseat. I had to clean before I would sleep in there.

Rented a room on Expedia. The photos posted of this hotel are very misleading. It looks nothing like the pictures when you pull up to the property. It’s run down. The lawn isn’t very well maintained and there are garbage cans sitting outside of the rooms. Junk sitting out in front of the rooms. I’m assuming people rent rooms that live there. Sitting out on folding chairs smoking. Not inviting at all. Went to the office to tell them we were not going to stay there. Walked in and it’s filthy and smelled of urine. Front desk person told me I had to call Expedia and walked away. It’s cheap yes but does not have a good vibe at all.

We felt fortunate to find a motel for a reasonable price. The others we had looked at were ridiculously high. The motel manager was very nice, honest, and helpful. The bed, sheets, and pillows were clean and comfortable. The towels were big and thick. However, although the air conditioner worked fine, the filter needed to be changed. Also, the carpet really needed a good steam cleaning.

Well I guess the sheets and towels were clean. That's about it. The tub was dirty, the drain was clogged with hair, it clearly hadn't been vacuumed, and the room was dusty. The proprietors are putting minimal effort into this motel.

Do not recommend. It seems like the place is trying to update things, but as of now would not recommend. Charged extra for 2 adults, but was not provided extra bath, hand, or wash towels. Tried to get more towels, but no one would answer in the office or by phone. TV was not working. Musty odor to room.

Water was leaking on the carpet whole visit. Conjoining neighbors were loud and you could hear them talk to midnight. Weird stains on walls. Bathroom had pieces of debris on the floor when I checked in. But hey, at least there wasn’t bed bugs

Good location on the southern end of town. Several fast food restaurant within walking distance. Walking distance to GAC if motivated. Property is old and unimproved but maintained minimally. Office is old and unsightly with pet smell. Building is old and also minimally maintaned. Linens are old with small tears but clean and no bedbugs. Wifi was very weak at our room, unuseable most times. 4 nights no housekeeping.

There was a lot of outside noise by I believe mgmt and since I needed to be up at 5:00 a.m. the next morning, I was trying to get to sleep early. I noticed you could see the outdoor lights between the door and the doorframe, so the place really needed some work. I couldn't close the curtains completely as the sheer and the curtains were on the same curtain rod. The room was clean at least, butI don't know if I would stay there again.

Room smelled of cigarettes, long black hairs on the bed, furniture strewn around the parking lot and hotel like it was a dump. Pay a few dollars more, and stay somewhere else. Viking Jr. Has lost its way in the hotel business

The motel is dated and the rooms are small. Beds and furniture was ok though. The main issue is that I think some people are living there. We had people up late talking outside their rooms and then up again early in the morning talking. We didn't get much good sleep.

I showed up to check in, but no one was there. I had to drive to Mankato and rent another hotel room. I would like a refund for my stay and reimbursement for the other hotel I had to book. Will not recommend this to anyone else.

I didnt like the bed. It killed my back. Ugh. I mean atleast give 4 pillows if the bed is going to suck that bad. The staff was nice but they said ring the bell at anytime for help and theyd help and that wasnt true. Understandable but inconvenient when u assure me youd help anytime i ring the bell. Other than that it was decent for the price. Also its an old place so it smelled old. It could definitely use an update.

One of the bath towels appeared to be blood-stained. The other was practically threadbare. Road construction noise woke me at 6:30 am on Saturday morning. It's a bit difficult to navigate the neighborhood around the hotel due to road construction & associated street closures.

This is very much as 1950s/60s roadside motel. Rooms are small and parking is right outside your room. With that said, this is a surprisingly well maintained motel. The outside looks it’s age, but the room was clean and well maintained. Bathroom was small, but obviously recently renovated with modern tile and everything worked. Staff was very pleasant at checkin. Room was very quiet, which was unexpected as the motel room as full. I stayed here 30 years ago with my dad when I was looking at colleges - this trip was my child looking at the same college. If anything, the motel is in better shape now. The art is decor has been updated and we felt very safe and comfortable. It is not luxurious, but it is a funky blast-from-the-past kind of place. My 17-year-old absolutely loved the experience! I did miss the fiberglass deer that used to decorate the lawn in front of the motel, but that’s probably mostly my nostalgia.

Very quiet & tranquil location. The coffee machine in my room had been left ON by the previous occupant & by housekeeping. There was a used coffee bag in the filter basket and burnt on coffee sludge in the bottom of the carafe. FIRE HAZARD!

Although on interstate, could not exit there due construction causing 8 miles out of the way. Should have sent notice on that. Room 27 bedroom was fine; bathroom tile moldy and needs renovation.

I stay here a couple of times a year. The rooms are always clean and stocked with the necessities expected for a comfortable stay. The people who work here are some of the friendliest folks I have encountered in my travels. This is not a high-end hotel, but is a good value for the money and close to local activities.

Relocated expected to stay for a few days..ended up being longer than expected. It was quiet, the showers were exceptional!! Felt safe. 1 thing was I felt the rugs needed a fresh going over with a clean machine.. over all good

It’s no 5 star hotel but it is clean it’s been years since I’ve last stayed there it’s been updated since then but over all it was a fast stay just somewhere to rest and shower no breakfast might have to ask for extra towels if your bringing someone with you
