overall a nice hotel. right off route 40. near the pueblo cultural center. when it gets busy you have to park in adjacent sites which is ok. we booked here partly because it had a pool and hot tub and were only informed that they were closed for maintenance 2 days prior to arrival. and, the kicker was not a bit of work was done on them while we were there. otherwise our room was quite nice and the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again. the property and room were quite wheelchair accessible. my wife was able to get around quite easily in her standard size travel wheelchair. elevators were present and easily accessible. our room was not necessarily handicap accessible but it worked for us. the toilet did not have bars for transfer and the shower had one bar at the side for helping with transfer.

I was disappointed that the swimming pool was not heated as advertised. One of the main reasons I chose the site was because of the heated pool I even called and they said it was heated, but it was not a heated pool.

Our stay could have been so much better, we booked the property based on it had nice indoor pool because we have 2 children, but the pool was green, cloudy & so strong with chemicals the boys couldn’t get in. Then we were give a handicap room that we didn’t ask for and the shower was the worst I’ve ever been in. The shower head wouldn’t stay hung up, the water had 2 temps burn you or freezing & we had no shower curtain. Otherwise staff was very friendly, great breakfast bar, comfortable beds and it was quiet.

What I most enjoy about this hotel is the parking. Security patrols the Holidae Inn’s lot and the surrounding areas such as Starbucks & Laguna Burger. I never had to worry about my vehicle being broken into unlike other places I’ve stayed. This location is also close to Old Town and many dining spots! We stay at this hotel every time we have to pass through!

The room had bed bugs! Disgusting!! My son and grandson had to leave at 2 am. We didnt sleep all night. My Down Syndrome son had Special Olympic State meets at 8 am. He had hardly any sleep! We were finally moved to another room the next day. Breakfast was sausage only the two days, no bacon. Items were constantly out, people waiting over 30 minutes for coffee icluding myself. Items were over cooked and oatmeal was like glue! The absolute worst Holiday Inn express ever!

The room was very spacious, we had the 2 queen suite. The beds were comfortable, The sofa bed was not made, we were given linens when we checked in, though no pillows. I did state that we needed a room for three people. The rooms were very clean, the bathroom also. Enough towels and washothes for everyone. The breakfast had a variety of food. Scrambled eggs and egg white omelets. Turkey sausage and bacon. Bagels and English muffins were avaliable, along with coffee, bottled water, orange and cranberry juice.

We were excited to stay here after staying at a similar property in Amarillo the night before. We were sadly disappointed. I wouldn't stay here again. It was a very run down hotel, the tile in the bathroom was coming up and the windows for the 'mountain view' were so clouded over it wasn't worth paying any extra. There was a light shade missing and no room darkening or curtains at all on our windows. The only nice thing about this evening overnight was Taylor and her pleasant demeanor upon checking in. I would not recommend staying at this location and hope to try another Holiday Inn Express & Suites again.

The woman who checked me in did not greet me with a smile and was very short and curt with me, she just wanted me to fill out the check in form and move on. That evening I discovered my key card didn’t work, I had booked for two nights, this I found very inconvenient, a different woman at the front desk assisted me, was a bit rude in her manner towards me and quickly reactivated my cards without any kind of apology for this inconvenience. The room I was given looked out over 12th Street, the traffic noise made it difficult to sleep. I would have asked for another room, but I was afraid to ask at the front desk due to the employees attitudes. I will never again stay at that Holiday Inn.

When they cleaned our room at the day after we checked in, they did not replenish any washcloths or hand towels, etc. and I called down to the desk to say there’s three of us. We’re trying to get ready for an event. He said oh they ran out, but he’ll make note And we never had anything new even till check out the next day. Also, somebody upstairs was stomping and stomping and stomping, nonstop, walking and stomping until 1 AM so that wasn’t great wasn’t quiet no towels, etc. no follow up so not great.

Love the native dress display in the lobby. Also the person working the morning I left was very nice, they let me go back to the room after I’d checked out because I thought I’d left something behind. Staff excellent. Very helpful with questions about local attractions and were always professional. Complimentary water available at the front desk. Great! Staff at Breakfast very attentive to what was available and ensured all options were available throughout breakfast. Continuous cleaning as well. Would suggest a power exhaust fan for the room we stayed in for steam build-up during showers. Roving security vehicle gave an extra sense of security even though we never felt that there was a security issue.
