Check in was slow and they do a $100 hold which I\'m used to.. not a big deal. BUT, this hotel charges a $2 state fee separately. So... Three transactions to stay and no receipt for the "state fee" so can\'t expense. Texas hotel. I travel a lot for work, and this is the only location I\'m aware of that has this $2 state fee. Had problems with the key to enter the room. Had to return to front desk 3 times. She kept trying to reprogram it. I told her it looked worn, could she just give me a different key. Lastly, if you want to work out in their fitness room, you have to go to the front desk and have them go upstairs with you to open (unlock) the door. Another hassle after a long day.

There were small blood stains on the walls in the bathroom and bedroom. The floor had not been cleaned. The wall next to the mini fridge looked like something had exploded on it. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and it was a nonsmoking room. The hallway reeked of weed. The website made everything looked like it had been remodeled. The lobby yes, but upstairs, the hallway has chunks missing out of the wood molding all the way down the hall. I would not walk barefoot on the floor as it clearly had not been cleaned any time recently. There was dirt build up on it. 10 out of 10 do not recommend. Given the state of my room and the facilities I didn’t even look at breakfast.

The water came out yellow when I went to take a shower. I had to let it run for a few minutes before clearing up. The inside of the bathtub had some rust around the tub. I will say it was very interesting say the least.

I stay here often. This time the shower ran for 1 minute and then stopped running. I tried turning it back on ..it made very loud banging sounds in the pipes..brown water came out and then it just completely died again. I called the front desk . she's very nice - and I know it was late but she didn't offer to move us, just said it was really nothing that they could do so late..it was about 3am. I was going to reserve a 2nd night but I got up at 6am and left so I could get back home all the way back to Texas..AND SHOWER. I have started looking at different hotels in the area to try because 1 time they gave me a room with a dirty bed ..they quickly came and fixed it but it had been slept in. I had a room with bugs in the tub before. I was up all night once because a couple was literally fighting...that only happened once but it was not good. They did not call the police and it lasted a long time. The staff is really sweet but the rooms definitely need a little attention... especially the plumbing and nasty tubs.

The beds are super comfy! The breakfast was just cereal and oatmeal basically...no toast! Whatttt?! What hotel doesn't have toast.....? Nonetheless it was a great stay for the one night we were there...people were friendly at the desk and super helpful...and knowledgeable on the whole area....not just out the door area like some places I have been. Get the room! Stay here!

Staff is courteous and accommodating. Lobby is bright & modern, but the rest of the property is simple and plain. It gives a current vibe despite having older furniture and fixtures. The bed was a bit high, but super comfortable. Walls are notably thin and I could hear people/TV in at least three other rooms as well as anyone in the walkway. I was grateful that the air conditioner worked quietly and very well.

Would not stay here again! Nothing like the pictures look! The floors were gross. From the moment we walked in the room it was just sticky. The remote was held together by tape and half the time didn't work. The air conditioning vent had trash in it. The attendant when we arrived never greeted us or even gave any directions for the elevator or where the room was located. He was watching a football game on a laptop at the front desk and acted as if we interrupted. Towels in the bathroom had dark brown stains on them. Only plus was the morning attendant was more pleasant and the bed was decent.

Beds are extremely comfortable, except ours was too high for a senior to climb into easily. The room needed a few maintenance fixes, but the price of the room was very reasonable in light of those maintenance issues. Our room was adjacent to the elevator, which at first impression was concerning, but we never even heard the elevator at all! Overall, we would stay there again given the opportunity to go to Louisiana again.

We rented locally as the weather turned fiercely cold, for native Louisianians and we sold the home after Hurricane recovery and bought a big camper to live in. We were very comfortable, safe and sound. This facility is very clean, they respond quickly to your extra needs if they are equipped to do so and may go out of their way to make it happen. Quiet place. Right off the interstate so back in the interstate is a no brainer. We had a hiccup in our plans and cancelled the rest of the week with no complaints from owners at desk. Very kind management and employees. Would def do a runaway if I just needed a breather from life for a few days.

Booking on hotels. com was the worst experience. The process was easy but I did not have any options to check for discounts before checking in. Once I arrived, I found out there were no discounts and on top of the room charge and taxes, the hotel required a $100 deposit. That’s ridiculous when you provide a valid payment. Additionally if I were to use my debit card, it would have taken 2-3 days after checkout to have the deposit refunded to me. I chose to use their extortion ATM in the lobby and at check out, I actually had to request my deposit from them. They had no intention of giving it back to me unless I requested it. The room was very sparse and the only redeeming quality was the bed was pretty good. I could not even close the closet door once I put my clothes in it. They stuck out beyond the door opening. Very minimal room with very low quality finishes. The breakfast “buffet” that was stated on hotels.com was a joke. The only protein item was the yogurt. I chose to use their extortion ATM in the lobby and at check out, I actually had to request my deposit from them. They had no intention of giving it back to me unless I requested it. The room was very sparse and the only redeeming quality was the bed was pretty good. I could not even close the closet door once I put my clothes in it. They stuck out beyond the door opening. Very minimal room with very low quality finishes. The breakfast “buffet” that was stated on hotels.com was a joke. The only protein item was the yogurt. We rented locally as the weather turned fiercely cold, for native Louisianians and we sold the home after Hurricane recovery and bought a big camper to live in. We were very comfortable, safe and sound. This facility is very clean, they respond quickly to your extra needs if they are equipped to do so and may go out of their way to make it happen. Quiet place. Right off the interstate so back in the interstate is a no brainer. We had a hiccup in our plans and cancelled the rest of the week with no complaints from owners at desk. Very kind management and employees. Would def do a runaway if I just needed a breather from life for a few days.

The property overall was clean, had a good smell, but it was somewhat dated and in need of upgrades. The front desk person did not smile, but when I needed help, he came quickly so that made up from the unapproachable look. Overall for the price, it was fine. Convenient location, but needs a generator in case of bad weather.

The beds are super comfy! The breakfast was just cereal and oatmeal basically...no toast! Whatttt?! What hotel doesn't have toast.....? Nonetheless it was a great stay for the one night we were there...people were friendly at the desk and super helpful...and knowledgeable on the whole area....not just out the door area like some places I have been. Get the room! Stay here!

It was cool. The worse thing about it was the breakfast. They shouldn’t list that as breakfast. That really was the only disappointment. It’s a beautiful hotel. Clean and comfortable.

Booking on hotels. com was the worst experience. The process was easy but I did not have any options to check for discounts before checking in. Once I arrived, I found out there were no discounts and on top of the room charge and taxes, the hotel required a $100 deposit. That’s ridiculous when you provide a valid payment. My husband and I stayed one night on our way to somewhere else. I'm pretty picky about cleanliness and this place passed for me. The shower and bathroom had some corners that definitely could have been cleaner, but not a big deal. The rest was great.
