I liked the nightly cost which was more than $50 less than our other option. Plus, they are pet friendly and only charged $25 per night per pet, which is exactly half what the other option charged on a previous visit. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool area could use a little attention. Some customers thought it was somehow appropriate to toss chewed up gum all over the deck. Another customer did the same their cigarette butts.

I liked the room. It was very comfortable, clean and fresh. The breakfast was average hotel diy. The parking was a problem. A company had multiple workers staying at the hotel with large dump trucks and big rigs. The trucks took up all the parking (4-5 spaces a truck.) We had to park at a neighboring hotel and walk to the hotel. The staff of the hotel did not try to do anything to make up for the inconvenience. I was lucky that my sons were with me. I would not have walked the distance in the dark alone. I would stay there again if I was assured parking.

We requested an ACCESIBLE room and were given one on the 3rd floor. Almost brand new building. The issue was that because of an early storm, the building lost all power and there was no emergency generator. Elevators were not functional placing a hardship for a person with limited mobility to come down three flights of stairs. Furthermore, the personnel, specifically the night shift manager, was at a total loss on how to proceed. He informed me that even after he had called the GM, the GM said he would stay at home and do nothing. How is it that this property was allowed to operate without the emergency generator? Where is the building inspection certificate and how did the county or city allowed this to happen? Clearly a corrupt and inept team all along What is the responsibility of Wyndham when overseeing commitment to safety?

The young woman who checked us in was most helpful. She was very courteous. We are an elderly couple and when she found out the ice machine on our floor did not work she went to another floor to fill our ice bucket herself. She was just lovely and went beyond what we expected. She helped make our stay delightful.

I booked this hotel for a stop on our cross country road trip for my family of 4 and a small dog. The reviews from other travelers made it sound like a nice place. When we arrived, it took a few minutes before front desk staff came to check us in. Our room was not clean. Pet hair from previous visitors made it clear that the pet fee they charge is not for ‘extra cleaning’. They don’t appear to vacuum, clean under the beds or wipe down surfaces. During breakfast, a large group of men who appear to work in the oil industry held a morning meeting in the breakfast area. The men came in from outside where they parked their trucks, leading me to believe they were not hotel guests. It made my daughters and I uncomfortable to be surrounded by so many men who were loud and using bad language.

Elevator areas had an unpleasant smell and my room reeked of bacon. Ants in the sink of my room and the sliding barn door leading into the bathroom needs adjusting because it was almost impossible to get open from inside the bathroom.

The room was really disgusting. There was hair and stains on the bedsheets. The bathroom had red stains on the wall that appeared to be blood. The shower had almost no water pressure and lastly, the room smelled like it was just bug bombed with pesticide. I honestly can’t think of a single positive thing about this property or the experience I had here.

I’ve stayed at LaQuinta property in Sulphur, LA before but this wasn’t up to their standards. Entered into a musty smell lobby. Our room didn’t have a hairdryer or any hand towels. I went and asked for a hairdryer but nobody knew where any were and didn’t have or offer me a shower cap. So unable to take a shower. Not a happy visit. Will try another LaQuinta, next time in Lake Charles.

I have stayed here several times. I always enjoyed my stay. As I mentioned in a review of a LaQuinta in Conroe, the pillows are too small & too soft. I have one suggestion specifically for rm 121 I stayed in. The upholstered chair & lamp should be moved to the other corner so you can see the TV. The walk way between the bed & a/c unit is too small for me to move it myself. I like to read & prefer to sit in a chair.

I requested that the rooms be changed to queen beds. Hotel told me ahead of time that there would be no issue. However it was a major issue. I got 2 king rooms. So I then asked for a roll away bed in one of the rooms. I was assured the bed would be sent to my room. When I arrived back to the hotel later that night, bed was not there . Also, the entire hotel had a musty smell to it. Rooms themselves were very spacious and clean.

The hotel was nice enough. When we got there to check in we had to wait probably close to 10 minutes to check in due to 1 lady outside smoking and the other lady watching tv and not paying attention. Second we booked through a 3rd party we were charged a different amount at the hotel. Never have I ran into this. Everything else was great

The staff checking us in was very nice. Unfortunately we arrived after the storm of the century where they had gotten 6 inches of snow which never happens. The hot water was not working at the hotel- as well as other places in Sulphur due to the storm. The breakfast was amazing though- lots of great choices. One of the best La Quinta spreads we have seen.

This stay was on our way out west. It was clean, neat and offered a hot breakfast in the morning. A great value! My less than perfect score was because of dog walking in mud around the hotel, as one comes back in.

The only think I could possibly say is that the mattresses need to be replaced. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They readily answered our questions and we’re all so pleasant. Hotel was very clean and the hot breakfast was great!
