Stayed 6 nights

I was so disappointed in this hotel. I read all the reviews and have no idea why people like this hotel. The room is absolutely tiny and run down. Our room was the Temu version of the room pictured on the website. Front desk made a big fuss over this giving us a nice room on a high floor and it overlooked a parking structure. Housekeeping came only once during our 6 night stay. On several days I had to specifically ask for them to clean the room and one day they never came despite me asking the front desk TWICE during the day. When we got to the room at night we didn’t have any fresh towels or even toilet paper. When I brought it up to the manager she promised to get back to me but never called. I even left my number for her with the front desk but she never reached out. I was also so excited about the rooftop views, but couldn’t even get to that part of the hotel. One night I kept pressing the 16th floor on the elevator and it wasn’t working. When I asked the front desk they just shrugged. Another time, I was told it was only accessible with reservations and when I tried to make some, there was a $50pp fee if you don’t make it and I also couldn’t bring my son because it was 21+. The front desk staff always acted put out whenever we asked them for anything. The best part of the hotel was Gray, the fabulous bartender at the restaurant next door, which is not even affiliated with the hotel. I would never recommend it to anyone. So many better stays in NYC.
