Ramada by Wyndham Panama City

the heater was not working, i asked for another room instead i was given a space heater, some of the lights on either side of the bed did not work either. it is a convenient location, and the rooms are equipped with refrigerator, microwave and there is a laundry room on each floor. I will be back! price wise it is a deal. In our first visit there were no issues.

The lobby restrooms were out of order the whole time. The elevator was extremely slow. Breakfast was very cheap. Hardly anything to pick from. The hallways were hot and muggy. And the smell of pot was everywhere. I had to go buy Fabreeze air freshener for our room. The oder was sometime unbearable. Some staff were friendly, but others were rude and unkind. Our tv quit working twice and had to ask numerous of times for someone to come fix it.

It was a nice room for the price. Don\'t plan on using the "Fitness Center".

I booked this hotel because I was going to a graduation at the FSU Panama City location and it was located minutes from the school. Upon arrival, we realized that it is right next to a night club. It was filthy inside. Dead bugs in the light fixtures, dirty around the toilet, stains on the couch. Filthy carpets in the hallway. Mildewed pation chairs at the pool.

Room looked dirty. Dust or mold on lamp shades, black marks on ceilings, hallways hot as hell, elevator hot as hell, empty chip bags in the light fixtures in the elevator, all around just dirty, also right next to a club with loud ass music. Wouldn’t stay here again if my life depended on it.

Awful place to stay. Hotel is overall dirty. Run down on the outside. (Pics online are old pics) Hall ways were terribly hot. When u got off the elevator the heat just hits u in the face. Pool was dirty. Most definitely wasn’t worth the 90 dollars plus a 50 dollar deposit…Will NEVER book here again.

The checkin clerk was very friendly and explained policies clearly and respectfully. (The deposit thing was new to me since I had not stayed in a hotel in a while.) The room was clean and acceptable. One issue I would suggest fixing—the stairs exit door should have a better dampener to prevent it from hitting the inside wall and slamming shut. The noise shook our room (202 by the door) every time someone entered the stairs.

The hall ways were filthy. The 3rd floor hallway smelled musty. The air in the bedroom could barely keep up. The hair dryer didnt work. There were stains on the couch and pillowcases. We checked put 2 days early, 7/31 at 9am and cut our visit short

Ice makers was broken staff not the friendliest

Old hotel. Fitness room had 3 machines and smelled like garbage. Elevator was filthy, only 1 ice machine worked. Desk clerk unavailable most of the time and unpleasant

The couch that was in the room had a lot of stains, we didn’t touch it or use it- all furniture was rusty- the towels has black curly hairs on them. This was a horrible experience- very dirty.

Dirty, mold on shower curtain, lamp, under fridge and in the ice machine. Pool is very dirty. Staff is rude. Bed had blood stain on sheets.

The place is run down and dirty. The cleanliness is definitely subpar. The air conditioning didn't really work in the first room I was in. One of the lights didn't work. The 4th floor smelled heavily of marijuana constantly. The furniture was stained up. The shower curtain wasn't clean. Room smelled odd. The bed was comfortable though.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Great location. Excellent hotel for the price.

The bed was soaked with urine and had mold on it, staff refused to move me rooms or to check me out. I never got my money back either

The beds are very comfy. Lots of towels. Enough for 4 days. Two waste baskets. Big tv Nice pillows. Clean sheets. Clean floor. Updated bathroom. Hidden fridge. Nice breakfast with eggs. Waffles muffins bagels and toast. Lots of coffee lol.

Breakfast was only waffles, bread, cereal. Coffee tastes like water, apple and orange juice. No water. AC wasn't cold enough. I put the temperature at 65 and didn't work.

My two kids and I took an impromptu short trip to the beach, reservation was made last minute. The room we stayed in was on the second floor at the end of the hall, which was nice. The ceiling had a previous leak and there was a large crack and the plaster was flaking off. The couch in the room had several stains on it. The blanket on one of the beds had what looked like a blood stain on it. The microwave in the room worked, but the timer did not so you had to automatically turned the microwave off or it would just keep running. The alarm clock only read one number, so it didn't work. While we were there, a staff member was making popcorn, and the fire alarm went off at 2 in the morning. I grabbed my two kids and ran down the stairs outside, only to be told it was burnt popcorn and there was no fire. Then no one could go back to sleep. On our last night, there were 4 police cars at the building next door. I felt fairly safe for most of our stay, but after seeing the police cars next door, I was glad to be leaving the next morning since I was alone with my two kids and did not have my husband with me.

Room and Hotel was okay. Room smelt like smoke. We tried to spray with Lysol and air freshener, but the smell returned. Breakfast was nothing spectacular-waffles, eggs, cereal, coffee, muffins, juice. The heat didn't work in our room. The beach was probably 10 to 15 mins away. Other stores and eating placing were 10 mins in the opposite direction. I stayed here for the cost, but I think next time I would stay closer in to the actual beach. The counter representative (not sure if she was Hispanic or Indian) seemed to always have an attitude when you asked questions. Also, don't use the computer in the lobby. It moves really slow and the printer was out of toner.

Very loud every night, walls are thin. Place is not that clean. Our fridge wouldn’t close tight so it did not keep cold. Also, the breakfast was only waffles, eggs and to go items. I would never stay at a wyndham again.

The strip club right next door…you could hear the bass all night.

This property is older and needs some upgrades but was clean. only issue, my sheet had a grey/black stain close to the foot of the bed. It looked like hair dye. Since it was a king size bed and the stain did not run or rub off when I used a wet white rag and scrubbed it, I put a towel over it and slept on the other side. There is a nightclub next door, and my room was facing it. I thought for sure I would hear the noise, but I was surprised, it was very quiet. The elevator was 4 feet from my door, and I never heard it or the people getting on and off. One of the two ice machines did not work. I never went to breakfast so no comment other than it smelled good. My $50. deposit was returned to my credit card on the 4th day after I checked out. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice and helpful. The other staff would barely look up when I went in and out and at checkout the only conversation was that my deposit would be credited back to my card within 7 days. No question about my stay or invitation to return.

Property needs an update and maintenance. Poor water pressure and toilet needs to be fixed in the unit.

Building is old - but clean. Basic rooms - internet slow, tv didn’t get good service

The morning front desk clerk was very rude. Tried every possible way not to give me back my deposit.

The staff was friendly, the check-in/out was quick and easy. The room was very comfortable. The area was quiet. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to my friends and family.

Upon arriving, front desk lady gave no greeting, very poor attitude, and appeared to not want to even be there. Elevator smelled like marijuana and bathroom inside room smelled like urine.

They were so friendly and asked us everyday if we wanted our room cleaned or needed anything.

Next to a strip club, stinks, dirty dryer didn’t work, barely anyone at the front desk, when I first got there it took 30 minutes to checkin because the front desk lady was nowhere to be found

The morning and midday staff was quite hostile and abrasive. I informed the gentleman inquiring about my check out time that we needed a few extra minutes because my lady had a zoom meeting for her job and that we would depart immediately afterward. All the while he saw me transport our luggage from the room to our vehicle. A few minutes after 11 a.m. he came banging on the door and yelling that we needed to check out immediately. We reminded him that we informed him about our delayed check out which was a few minutes and he proceeded to raise his voice at me. I'm a 40 year old man and my lady had to restrain me because I literally came close to knocking the hell out of him. I'm born and raised in Panama City so apparently they may not be informed that I work real closely with the Bay County Chamber of Commerce so I informed them to keep an eye of their operations. The rooms weren't bad at all but the SERVICE WAS COMPLETELY GARBAGE. Be careful on how you talk to paying customers.

Check in was fast and easy. Guy who checked us in was friendly and outgoing. Upon check out lady at desk was very rude and accused us of stealing hangers. Didnt want to give deposit back until room was checked. Definitely will not be returning.

People that knows me, knows that i don't complain....unless it really reaches a high level of disrespect... Manager at front desk was rude and with no customer service skills whatsoever. I travel quiet bit for work and stayed in diferent hotels. This time I wasn't only tired but I felt a little sick, a cold getting to me. So I booked and extra night through my app on phone. And I called the front desk notifying them as well, the lady was very nice. (Usually the info gets transfered to the extra day) Around 1 or so, I resting my cold, not feeling well, at all, received a phone call from front desk, is the manager saying, that i have to come down to check out and check back in again, and do a new deposit, since is a new reservation. I was in disbelieve. Never ever heard that before. Im coughing and sneezing, running some fever.. and this man is making me do the whole process all over again. His response to this was" Well, I guess other hotels front desk people is just lazy, this is the right process, and how it should be"... I choose not to argue with him..I just observed him doing his thing..Never coming back to Ramada by Windham. Not to mention no hot water, and got 3 conditioners in the bathroom instead of, shampoo, body wash and conditioner.

We called the hotel the day of check in to see if we could check in the following day as we had to make an unplanned trip to the hospital. The front desk confirmed that wouldnt be an issue. We showed up to check in the next day, and were told we can not check in and to contact hotels.com for a refund. We contacted hotels.com, and they proceeded to contact the hotel. The manager at the hotel isn't responding to the hotels.com requests. Terrible service!

Nice quiet place to stay, close to a lot of things, beach etc

The room was clean and the hotel staff was great. Keep in mind it is adjacent to a bar that stays open late, if noise is a problem for you. It is convenient to Saint Andrews and a shot drive can get you most anywhere you need for groceries etc.

Jenny was great. The hotel was was good. The GPS location is wrong it took an hour to locate the hotel.

The breakfast and the coffee was absolute trash.... Pancake batter was old. The coffee was watered down or week as f****. Staff would always hide anytime. I walked in front of the front desk. There was never a front desk person there. They were always in the back.. polite when they are there.

The employees could be a little more friendlier. The breakfast was very limited pancakes and waffles with no bacon or sausage. The area was very clean and organized.

nothing was unique. breakfast muffins stale. housekeeping skipped my room one of the days. other days did not empty the trash or replace soap, shampoo or conditioner. orange juice was excellent.

The hotel exceeded my expectations, especially for a beach town. The hotel was nice, pretty well kept up and pretty clean. I'm very glad we stayed there and would recommend it. The only minus was the breakfast was pretty skimpy, but big deal, if anyone really plans on these as their breakfast buffet, they will have to stop at McDonalds.
