Great location which is very close and convenient to a few of the landmarks and tourist attractions. Easy access to public transports. The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and acknowledged. Enjoy the best morning and evening view from the terrace restaurant of Istanbul. The decoration of room is very out dated, on 80’s and 90’s. The hairdryer is not powerful enough and the handle got very hot after a while, very poor wall insulation that you could hear the conversation from the room next door. The electric power cut off completely when the fob leaves the holder, even the fridge in the room so not able to store anything while no one attending. The mattress is too soft from preference. For cleanliness, clean and tidy when checked in. But a few minus during the stay, either bin not get empty or towels not got replaced.

Small hotel. Elevator only enough for one person and you have to take stairs most of the time. Bathroom a little old. Location is good tho

Good: Great location! Bad: No elevator access to the rooftop (restaurant for breakfast and lunch) making it not accessible for parents who couldn't take the stairs, terrible access to a taxi, and the hotel staff couldn't help with that and had no plan to help the guests transport and as a result, we were about to miss our flights, no gym, very small rooms!

Friendly staff and 1 minute walk away from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia! The roofterrace is nice for a drink or breakfast with a view!

Rooms are clean and staff is very professional, courteous and helpful. They can arrange travel to and from local airports. They have an amazing rooftop restaurant with a great view serving food and drinks all day including a full buffet breakfast. Highly recommended.

Location Location Location Breakfast area at the terrace was excellent with the best view of the city. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Room was reasonable with its facilities. Walking distance to many places. This hotel is highly recommend.

Great hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe room called Bosphorus--Room 602 on sixth floor. We had a terrace with amazing view looking right at Hagia Sophia, Topkapi to the left, and Blue mosque to the right. Farther left amazing view of the bosphorous. Amazing! Bed was comfy, bathroom very nice and good water pressure with jacuzzi tub. The small elevator only goes to the 6th floor, then 1 flight of stairs to the restaurant/bar. Had outdoor terrace just above our room--really enjoyed drinks on the terrace, and breakfast was very large--very good! We mostly walked from hotel and almost all the good stuff was walking distance within minutes. We did finally walk down to the TI tram at Gulhane--about 7 minute walk, but pretty steep. Went over to Eminonu/walked along Galata bridge and up into spice market--which we liked much better than grand bazaar. Don't miss New Mosque (Yeni Cami) right by this. For going back to hotel on T1 we didn't get off at Gulhane as the walk uphill was steep--kept going around to Sultanahmet station--then walk through the gaps going back towards the hotel--great walk with tons of restaurants along the way--much more interesting and full of sights. This hotel was so well situated for doing everything. The staff were great, constantly offering assistance and guidance. We bought several turkish lamps and other stuff, and got if all within 100 yards of the hotel--and I priced shopped at numerous locations--best deals nearby. Would certainly stay again--thanks. Arden City hotel was amazing! We absolutely loved staying here, it's so close to major attractions like the mosques and bazaars were all walking distance and the hotel itself is very peaceful and quiet. Since it's on the corner of the street also was very easy to grab an uber or taxi. The front desk staff are so amazing and nice, we love how helpful they were! The terrace rooftop area is great for views of the city. We loved the complimentary breakfast they had so many options and all were delicious. The rooms were very spacious and clean, housekeeping was very thorough.

The rooms are slightly dated but very clean and tidy. The staff were fantastic and would help with any requests. They really are a credit to the hotel.

Everything was good, the only thing I'd like to point out is that the room could've been cleaner, not on the surface level, but more like deep cleaning, at least all the doors could be wiped (hand prints and dirt that builds up with time)

Well located in the old town, the hotel is walking distance to all major sites in that area. Very close to the Tram too. A great option for a city break. The hotel is spotlessly clean and reasonably appointed for the price. A good breakfast sets the day on the roof top terrace watching the sun rise over the city

La pulizia era inesistente in camera. Piegavano le lenzuola del letto, svuotavano il cestino e basta. Il personale di reception era molto disponibile. Ogni tanto a colazione si potevano mettere altri dolci o pietanze. Ma il personale era cordiale.

Gefallen: - Freundlichkeit der Personal, insbesondere die von der Gastronomie - Räumliche Nähe zur Sehenswürdigkeiten und attraktive Touristenstätte Nicht Gefallen: - Zimmerreinigung- und Service bestand lediglich darin den Mülleimer zu leeren, ansonsten hat es keinerlei Reinigung innerhalb des Zimmers stattgefunden. - Bei Flughafenbringdienst, welcher auf Anfrage vom Rezeprion bestellt wurde, hat es Unstimmigkeit wegen der Bezahlung gegeben. Daher meine Empfehlung, lieber solche Dienste selber organisieren.

Its a nice hotel and hardly 10 minutes walk to main attractions in Sultanahmet .plenty of dinning options around. Staff during breakfast specially Mehmet was amazing. Also young waiter Ege was very helpful. Managers lack communication and good customer services skills though. Condition of property is average and not too clean . Cleaner is around every morning but i guess she just makes the bed and nothing else. Overall a good experience but they can improve on cleaning.

The hotel is very welcoming, we felt very safe and comfortable. It's spotlessly clean, the staff were lovely and very helpful. We slept well on comfy beds, had a great view and had all the amenities we needed. The restaurant had an amazing view and delicious food I highly recommend. The hotel organised airport transfers which was efficiently done and very helpful. Reception staff were knowledgeable and able to recommend and organise excellent trips. The area in which the hotel is located is good for transport, for sightseeing, for shopping and felt very safe. We would definitely stay again.

Staff were helpful and very courteous. Very little soundproofing in rooms...you could easily hear tv and voices from next room. Also, open stairway added to very loud noise created by returning guests, who in the main, were quite inconsiderate of other guests, sometimes at 2am! Beds were extrely hard!

Very close to many important sights, like blue mosque, hagia sophia, etc. It was clean, but the room was super small. The staff was nice and organized a boat trip for us. The restaurant was nice and had a beautiful rooftop view. The breakfast was so-so.

The view over the city from the rooftop restaurant is fabulous and the location is great. Shame about the terrible noise insulation between rooms.

The hotel is in a great place, very close to the Blue Mosque and many shops bars and restaurants. It has a wonderful roof top restaurant with fantastic views across the city - lovely view whilst eating your breakfast. Great food served too. My only criticism is our double room was very very small, there was only one bedside cabinet - no room for two and only one chair at the tiny table.

The hotel location is great. 5 minute walk to two tram stops (Gulhane or Sultanahmet) and also a 5min walk to the iconic Hagia Sophia. The staff are fantastic and the hotel has an amazing terrace where you can see most of Istanbul’s landmarks from. The only let down for the hotel is sound proofing - you can hear people next door and above you like they are close to you. Luckily other guests weren’t too loud so it was bearable but still a let down for the hotel. Other than that the rest the hotel has to offer was great - overall would recommend!

I have booking superior room, in fact the superior room is slightly smaller than what I expect. Superior rooms, supposedly larger than standard rooms. Don't trust the picture you see on their website, Very disappointed

Nice hotel Friendly staff Only down side to this hotel is the location I thought rooms were sound proof but the balcony doors were not sealed they seemed a bit old and not fitted, if it was maybe the noise wouldn’t have been so bad. It was in the heart of the busy tourist area, when booking I thought we were a bit far but it was still busy area. traffic noise, car horns blaring, this would go on until early hours and then people going in and out of rooms slamming doors. I did not sleep for more than 3 hours a night, which were disturbed by some sort of noise on my 4 night stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and staff are great. For guest looking for a peaceful night sleep need to be away from the blue mosque or Sofia by at least a mile or so. Otherwise no complaints with the hotel.

Great staff. Omer at the reception was extremely helpful and made the check in fast and easy. Would be happy in every hotel around the world to have someone like Omer. Fantastic guy, fantastic hospitality. Than you Omer ! Big time ! If we are comeback would be because Omer and location .

The staff and management of this property is first class. From the front desk to concierge to the room maids , to management, the service of this property is phenomenal. It is in the heart of everything and is walking distance to anything you would want to see or do in Sultanahmet. Highly recommend

Very good property with the best managers I ever met. Emre and Baris went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. They gave us free room upgrade, early checkin, free breakfast when we checked in early, held our luggage before and after our stay, and much more. I will definitely book this hotel and recommend it to others.

We had a very pleasant stay at Arden City hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The manger was very helpful in arranging our airport transfers from and to the airport. Upon arrival, we requested some room adjustments as we had an extra guest, and they quickly accommodated us with a fair and competitive price. The breakfast and view on the terrace was breathtaking and definitely something to look forward to. Very prime location, would highly recommend!

Emre at front desk was the most helpful person we have ever seen. He goes so far to help the guests . He even booked transfer for us in Bodrum and shopped around to get the best deal for us at half price.

Staff was amazing, everyone was smiling and happy to help. Our room was excellent, breakfast was good and staff was happy to make you fresh omelettes etc. Amazing view for breakfast. Thank you all for an excellent service.

5 Sterne – Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt dank Herrn Emre! Ich hatte das große Vergnügen, einige Tage in diesem wunderbaren Hotel zu verbringen, und kann meinen Aufenthalt nur in den höchsten Tönen loben. Schon beim Check-in wurde ich äußerst herzlich empfangen – ein besonderer Dank gilt hierbei Herrn Emre an der Rezeption. Herr Emre zeichnet sich durch seine außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit, Professionalität und Hilfsbereitschaft aus. Er nahm sich Zeit, beantwortete geduldig all meine Fragen und hatte stets ein offenes Ohr für individuelle Wünsche. Durch seine zuvorkommende Art fühlte ich mich vom ersten Moment an bestens aufgehoben. Auch bei Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Ausflüge zeigte er hervorragende Ortskenntnisse und traf immer genau meinen Geschmack. Das Hotel selbst ist makellos gepflegt, die Zimmer sind komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Doch der besondere Unterschied zu anderen Hotels ist ganz klar das engagierte Team – allen voran Herr Emre, der jedem Gast mit ehrlicher Herzlichkeit begegnet. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen. Everyone was excellent in particular Omer. He was always eager to help and even suggested our dinner cruise. Omer was key in helping us get around everywhere as he explained to us in detail exactly how to get to places. I am looking forward to coming back to Turkey and I would not stay anywhere else but this hotel.

The location is great with good view of Hagia Sophia, Tokapi palace and Blue moque. Besides it is walking distance to the tram line.

Nicely located boutique hotel near main attractions (in the Old Town, Sultanahmet) and transportation. Everything is within walking distance, 5-10 min. Hotel staff did their best to keep us comfortable and fed, the breakfast servers were excellent, the food was very good and healthy. Would definitely return.

Super area short walk to the historic centre,& great choice of restaurants

A nice hotel that’s closely located to many of Istanbul’s attractions. Plus shops, the tram, restaurants, and baths are all nearby too. The staff were pleasant and helpful. And although my room was small it was clean and functional. The rooftop restaurant was certainly a bonus and the food was good too. The included breakfast was basic but the surrounding views made up for it. If I ever return to Istanbul, I’d stay here again.

Das Frühstück war keine 4 Sterne wert… Wenn überhaupt 2 Sterne. Das war das schlechteste Frühstück was wir bisher hatten. (Info: gegenüber vom Hotel, direkt an der Ecke, befindet sich ein schickes Restaurant… dort kann man sehr gut frühstücken). Das Personal war an dem ganzen Hotel am besten. Sehr freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war immer sauber, hatten aber leider Schimmel an einer Ecke.

Great position with views over Hagia Sophia and the Bosporus. Staff were all exceptional and pleasant. Our room although small , was well equipped. The room was unfortunately overlooking the road and the cars constantly blew horns every evening till late. The bed was a little hard for our liking, but the sheets and pillows were really good quality and bed was made every day. Breakfast on the roof terrace was limited , but the views made it worth it. We really enjoyed our stay ! Road noise excluded. With a few small improvements it could be sensational.

Die Lage ist super zentral wobei man sagen muss es ist extrem laut auch die Wände sind aus Pappe man hört alles und jede Kleinigkeit. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war so naja könnte bißchen mehr zu Auswahl geben.

Stayed from 4/3-4/11. The hotel was beautiful and within walking distance to everything. The staff was exemplary! As well, their terrace has breathtaking views and restaurant is 5 star!! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul. Wanda
