One wing was under construction while I was there, which is where their only ice machine is located. Because of the construction, they turned off the machine but had no alternate provisions for providing ice. I was told I could walk next door to a gas station and buy a sack of ice. The sink in my room was infested with ants. LOTS of small ants. I kept wasing them down the drain, but they kept coming back. In the morning, I found my toothbrush covered with them. Guess toothpaste residue attracted them.

Clean property and friendly staff. Only complaint, is that there is no elevator to the second floor. You need to haul all your luggage manually up a set of steps to the second floor. Seems like that would be an insurance risk.

While the room was clean but very dated and the staff was friendly, there was no elevator (none- not just out of service) and it was smokey. They need weatherstripping around the room doors. I had a non-smoking room and smoke came in around the door and through the bathroom exhaust fan. I put towels under the door but smoke still got in. I had to shower in the dark as the exhaust fan pulled smoke inside. Only had second floor rooms available and no elevator just a big staircase in the foyer. Hadn't planned on hauling luggage or I'd have used a duffle instead of a roller bag. No elevator should be noted in the listing.

not pleasant - no chair in room, no clothes rack to hang coats, no elevator only steps, no hair dryer in room, bath towels rough as sandpaper, no iron. basically just renting a bed at this hotel and not a place to enjoy travelingl

Everything was pretty nice except our rooms carpet was horrible! It needed replaced badly. There were rolls in it which made walking difficult. Pillows need replaced too. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Staff was very nice, the room was clean but our room was waaaay outdated. The carpet wasn't even tight to the floor anymore and there was spots on the carpet where it was wore down so bad that you could almost see the padding. The toilet leaked and had a shim underneath the base. Room 107

The staff were great. The room was great. The check-in and check-out process were great. I was traveling and needed to get to sleep early to take an elderly family member to a medical appointment, and they put me in a room with an adjoining door. Unfortunately, the people in that room were VERY NOISY UNTIL 2 or 3 A.M. and I barely got any sleep -- which was my entire reason for visiting the hotel. I needed to get to sleep early and it didn't happen.

Property and room were clean and there was a small hot breakfast. Staff were nice and helpful. The room itself was showing wear, carpet had bubbles and was a tripping hazard. Furniture was scaffed and wallpaper was starting to pull away at the seams.

They put me in a smoking room. I was too tired to switch. Walls are thin and you can hear everything in the hallways. The place was clean and they were doing improvements. With smoking being allowed in parts of this hotel, I would not recommend or go back.

Nice property with very good tavern and grill next door. Two issues with the room: 1) the air conditioner did not work. Checked in at 2pm and set AC low to cool room. Did not return until after 10pm. Room was still hot. Desk did not have a room fan available. Offered to change rooms but it was late and we were unpacked. Asked in the morning if a rate reduction was possible but charge had already been put thru and could not be change. 2) Sink needed rodding out, slow to drain. Would stay here again.

Offered a link for pre arrival check which we did and once we arrived at the hotel I gave them my name and was handed my room keys. Super fast and simple. Clerk was very friendly and informative about services offered. Simple room but comfortable and clean with refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise as well with something for everyone in our group.

We reserved a king size room for our 49th wedding anniversary and got a room with two full sized beds. I went and complained about it and was told that they would put us in another room but we already had our stuff in the room and fridge loaded. We didn’t want to go to all the trouble of moving everything. The clerk at the desk said that they would leave a message for the manager. That would have been Friday morning and we checked out today and never heard anything from them. They should have at least touched base with us. We reserved King and got full. We shouldn’t have been inconvenienced to have to move.

Because I have stayed at some Days Inns in the past that were not so good, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay here. Check in was easy and the person behind the desk was very helpful. We were originally put in a second floor room, but when I told her we had an elderly dog, she found a way to get us a first floor room. Breakfast was good both days we were there, and when we had a sudden change in plans, they let us cancel our last day with no charge. Overall, I was very impressed, and will definitely stay there again the next time I am in the area.

The customer service here is above and beyond! Every staff member i encountered was super friendly and made me feel extra welcome! I travel often and its a rare find to have such wonderful hospitality this far north! Breakfast had a fantastic selection as well. Next time im back in this area, ill definitely come back here! It was a breath of fresh air to be surrounded by genuinely kind people! Old fashioned hospitality! A smile , immediate warm greeting, and eye contact go such a long way with a weary traveler ! If i could rate higher than 5 stars, i definitely would!

Check-in was quick and the front desk lady was so friendly. She had tips and recommendations for restaurants, pro tips on navigating the area and parking at an event we were planning to attend near by. The hotel was very clean and it was nice. The room was up to date and clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable in our opinion. It had a weird dip in it at the top by our head. They provide breakfast and it must have been pretty good or had good options because it was busy and the space was full of guests. We would definitely stay here again.

The first night we were there the cable and internet were out. We requested service daily and left a daily tip. The second night we were there we came back to our room with tip gone and nothing else done. The third night bed made but bathroom never touched. Usually stay once or twice a year. We will stay somewhere else on our next visit. Never offered a discount. So sad.

I liked that the property was quiet and the foyer was clean, open and calm. I did not see a lot of staff around and they did not seem concerned with comings and goings at all hours. However, the first morning we were woken up and warned by the staff at around 8:30 AM that the water would be turned of at 9 AM. Not very convenient. In addition, they were out of milk at the breakfast and did not intend to get any for a couple of days - the length of our stay. Furthermore, they housed J6ers just out of jail who burst in on us at breakfast with boasts of their status and took over the shared spaces of the property. We left earlier than planned.

We were surprised that they had a breakfast. It was not in the details on Hotels.com. However, the breakfast was a little disappointing. They did not have milk but had cereal that, in my mind, needs milk. Rooms were dated and the beds were hard. The business center was not working.

Service was excellent, the room was clean, comfortable, and the large screen tv had a great picture with a LOT of available channels. The breakfast in the morning is decent, the waffles are very good. Great value, and the restaurant across the parking lot has excellent wings!
