Hampton Inn & Suites Little Rock-Downtown

Hotel was great. Parking was a little difficult to maneuver but overall good.

Parking was not ideal. Breakfast was ready early which was a welcome surprise and for me on the road earlier than expected.

Property was clean and accessible. You do have to pay for parking which I didn't see on any information while booking. The only thing that could have been better was breakfast was not ready to go by time stated. Sounds 8 breakfast was not sweet up and available. We ended up just going elsewhere to have breakfast which made getting back on the road a bit later than we wanted but overall a good experience.

Parking garage is a bit of a walk but overall the safety was worth it

The hotel was very clean and the location was safe. I loved the fitness room. The equipment was up to date and it’s located directly in front of the pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was in great shape with a surprisingly well appointed exercise room, comfortable pool area, and great breakfast. The "Bar" was absolutely lifeless, and had no atmosphere, but complimentary coffee in the lobby and a friendly and helpful staff were great. Beds were clean and comfortable, and the AC was cold, which was a welcome and needed benefit. Location is close to downtown, but quiet. Not a great walking neighborhood, but a short Uber will get you anywhere you want to be in Little Rock.

Our stay was okay. Check in was fine, nothing special but was friendly. Parking was horrible. You had to find a parking spot to check in then they sent us to parking garage once we checked in. The parking garage was so small our vehicle barely fit in a parking spot and barely could turn around (we don’t have a big truck either). We rented and paid for a suite online and once we got there they tried to charge again. I was not very happy with the room. The beds had no mattress covers, an orange stain on the floor, the lotion bottle was ripped off the wall sitting on the bathroom counter and our door looked like it was ripped of the hinge and barely fixed. The tv barely would work kept skipping and cutting in and out. On top of everything else was woke up at 7:15 in morning with the fire alarm. Probably would not stay at that location again.

The only complaint was there was not enough parking. You have to pay $15 to park in the garage, but there is no guarantee you will have a spot because there are VERY few. Other than that, it was great!

Pretty building but dirty room. Had to to either pay for parking on the street or pay to park in the parking garage. Great walking distance to restaurants and tourist attractions.

The staff was incredible but the floors had stains from the pet-friendliness which likely was the contributing factor to the overarching smell throughout. Multiple sheets in our bedding had a sort of dried blood or something similar.

I was given room 416 at first. The shower knob was glued up and I was not able to take a bath. Then the satellite tv kept messing up every two minutes. The carpet was beyond disgusting with crusty stains. I was upgraded to a new room,404. It was cleaner but very noisy. The satellite still flickered but not as much.

We were in room 601. Housekeeping worked very hard to make it scent free and I so appreciated it so much but the room had a terrible smell akin to wet dog and sweaty feet. Worse than this the air quality was so bad my lungs burned, I started coughing and lost my voice. I suspect mold in the walls. The carpet desperately needs to be removed throughout all the rooms. We went downstairs and Toni at the desk was amazing. We moved next door to 693 which had some tile and carpet and it was better. There was still a smell but not as bad. We discovered turning on the ac fan and putting the luggage in front of the door to keep it open allowed for some circulation and we did that for at least 30 minutes every day. We were able to stay in 603 that way. I can’t say enough positives about the staff. They were super kind, warm and friendly. Wonderful customer service and when there was a problem they did everything possible to help. Breakfast was great too. I understand renovations are planned for next year and they are needed.

The room was run down and the carpet was stained-definitely needs a refresh. Wouldn’t give Hilton Honors points since I booked through Expedia. Good breakfast

Was told on arrival all rooms were sold out. Had to urge the desk to make some calls, informing our rooms were already paid for. Once in the room, the bathroom was not pleasant at all. The shower and fixtures were in terrible condition, there was mold, and the trip was peeling on every corner.

This is a very average, very basic hotel. While located conveniently near the River Market district, the hotel itself left a bit to be desired. The room we stayed in had an old, uncomfortable, springy mattress and the carpet was almost absurdly threadbare with stains all over it. I feel like a minimal investment on the part of ownership could make an immediate positive impact. Until then, it's best to expect a very basic, average stay.

The room was very outdated and dingy. There was mold above the shower and brown stains through the bathroom. The curtain was tattered and the carpet torn. Was not worth the money at all. The only redeeming was the location.

Not impressed. I booked a room with a tub. Did not get the room I requested. The room I stayed in was not very clean. There was a piece of dental floss hanging in the standup shower and there were questionable stains on the carpet. The shower door handle was broken off leaving sharp bits exposed. I only stayed one night, thank goodness. Also, the toilet wouldn’t flush. And one more thing, why would you put the coffee maker on a shelf in the bathroom??? Why??

Staff was outstanding very helpful answered all our questions about area and hotel. Room (king) was spacious and clean & quiet.Breakfast was Delicious and filling. We did not see much of area because of arriving Late,but view outside was beautiful with all buildings lit up.(6 floor)

The room I was assigned for me and my Family was very spacious, very good conditioned furniture and bathroom accessories. Personnel very friendly and helpful. The only but was with breakfast, perhaps that same day the amount of people was overwhelming and food didn't stay hot nor was there enough food.

Terrific location. It was near the airport and major highways, and we could walk to the Clinton Library and River Walk. Restaurants were close. The room was spacious and had everyhing we needed. I especially appreciated the bathroom having a traditional door rather than a slider like a barn - more privacy.

Great location with parking so you can get in and out of downtown easily. Clean comfortable rooms and friendly service.

Noise from the streets woke me up. Bathroom kind of outdated but not bad. Comfortable beds! Close to the river and walking path; close to restaurants.

Super friendly and helpful staff. One of the pools is being remodeled so a bit of sore eye but the second one looks great and peaceful. We had a room facing the street (3rd floor) and we could hear the train going by and street noise loudly.

Suite Room large enough

This was a very nicely designed hotel room with plenty of space and comfort. The bathroom tu/shower area was the best I’ve ever experienced in past 30 years! Beds comfortable and great TV service!

When we checked in, the girl at the front was rude and snippy, when we got to the 7th floor it was freezing and smelled. We got to our room it felt like a furnace and couldn’t turn the heat down. Our room smelled old and musty. The walls were gross, all the tables had chips, the door was broke.. Over all would not stay again.

Staff wasn’t friendly and made an error at check-in. Put us in the wrong room and then made me come down and wait while they “figured it out” Was told I didn’t even have a reservation even though I had confirmation emails and texts. Icing on the cake? Biggest roach I’ve ever seen was waiting on us right when we walked in our room. I have currently been double charged for the room, we shall see how that plays out.

When we returned from dinner around 8:30 pm, the hotel had locked us out. Another group that was just arriving to check in was also locked out. The phone app that was supposed to allow me in did not work. The doors had been locked to forbid anyone from entering. No one answered the phone, either. Banging on the doors did not bring anyone over. A small child could be seen inside the lobby seeking to communicate with an unseen adult, presumably the person in charge of the front desk. A member of the party who had previously checked in had to run around the building and access the back parking garage using the physical key card. Then ran through to the front of the hotel to let us in. It is a very bad look for the hotel.

The hotel is an older building but it is kept up nicely. The part that makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone was kind and courteous. Amber was working the desk when we arrived and despite several people waiting and a phone call that sounded difficult she handled everything with a calm and kind demeanor. Truly, everyone we met was just wonderful. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

I was here for 4 nights… to have been in 3 rooms proves there’s something wrong. Worst hotel experience ever! My god, y’all need to send a good manager here. Customer service is HORRIBLE! Upon arrival after traveling and working all day, I had to wait 45 minutes to check in. Mainly because people checking in before me kept coming back as they were assigned to rooms that already had patrons in them. I witnessed it multiple times. After my first room was musty-smelling and I woke up with some substance in the room leaking all over my foot and sock from the wet bed skirt, I was given keys to a new room for the following night. When I took my new key and moved to that room, it had a patron in it with a very scary pittbull that charged at me! Once I was put into a third room, there’s was used tissue with blood on it in the bathroom and hair in the bed. At that point I gave up and slept in the other bed. The next day I was called while working to find out why my stuff was still in the room. They admitted they checked me out prematurely, because a patron who left misspoke the number of their hotel room (mine) and the front desk had not confirmed said patrons last name, which was of course different than mine. So they thought I had checked out, which clearly was not accurate with my reservation. Additionally, the elevator call button was broken, meaning you had to just stand around and wait quite a while for it to make its way down. Do not stay here!

This Hampton inn is the best one I’ve stayed at in a long long time. EVERY staff member has been extremely nice and it’s been a great end to my week vacation. Where do you go nowadays and every staff member is extremely nice and accommodating? It’s rare. The place is extremely clean and the breakfast is good. This is my new permanent choice of lodging in Little Rock

The staff was terrific, from checking us in with a smile at 3am to letting us hang out in the lobby after checkout (both because of train arrival and departure times) and also being helpful and friendly with suggestions and directions. The room was good - very clean and comfortable though needing a little rehabbing. The location is great for getting to places in downtown Little Rock.

The hotel charged me the reservation fee, and I drove 8 hours with my family to get there. We arrived at 4 a.m., but the front desk person refused to give us our room, claiming check-in ended at 11 p.m. and marking us as a "no-show." I explained that I was here now, needed to get some sleep and that the hotel had already charged me for the stay. We were all exhausted, but she insisted that if I wanted to stay, I would have to pay again. Otherwise, I could not access the room from my original reservation. I told her that in this case, we would have to sleep in the car, which was unacceptable, but she said there was nothing she could do. This was the worst and most terrible trip I have ever experienced, with horrendous customer service from the hotel. To make matters worse, Expedia told me that since the hotel marked me as a "no-show," they could do nothing except request a refund on my behalf. It was truly a nightmare.

It’s a great location and nice staff. I love the outdoor patio. The floor needed to be vacuumed, tile and elevator floors were sticky, moldy caulking in the shower, scuffed walls and peeling paint, peeling ceiling in room above bed. It just needs better cleaning and attention to detail.

Restaurants bars and river all a few blocks away

It’s off the Main Street in the downtown area, easy to walk to everything. The staff is very friendly and hospitable.

This hotel is close to the streetcar stop as well as many dining options. Hot breakfast is a nice amenity. Hotel is clean and staff is helpful .

There’s a park across the street, and there was a man, obviously on drugs, outside right by the door when we arrived. He was cussing and yelling loudly at himself! Then at 11 or 12, an ambulance and police car were outside by the park and by our window and someone else was yelling and moaning and screaming and left in an ambulance. The girl working at night was not very friendly. She seemed annoyed that I told her about the man outside. She went out and looked and came back inside. I don’t think she said anything but she might have. The parking garage is not very convenient to the lobby. Breakfast was really good, and the lady in the kitchen was so sweet!

Great location

This was a nice, quiet hotel in the center of downtown. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was average for a hotel breakfast. It is in a good location with the river just a short walk away. We also tried the restaurant next door called Dizzy's and it was fantastic. I highly recommend their cheese dip! The parking was a little confusing as it in around the block in the back of the hotel, but there was a pathway that lead straight to the hotel. We just had to find street parking to check in before we could go into the parking garage. Overall, this was a nice hotel in a good location.

Super nice and friendly front desk agent last night when we arrived. Loved that there’s always tea and coffee and snacks options (like our case, arriving late, tired and hungry) Breakfast was great! Good variety and options for everyone Nice hotel and location Perfect to go out for a walk with my dog The only small thing I didn’t love the mattress. Felt a bit old and too soft, would sink in the middle. But everything else was great! Would come back for sure!

Not impressed…Stuff was unprofessional and a bit rude… room was ok, but breakfast was quite disappointing - small selection, tasteless eggs, old fruit… would not come back..

Our stay was mildly disappointing. Breakfast each day was a bummer - cold food and slow to restock. Our room keys seldom worked and we often had to return to front desk for assistance. The hotel was our of conditioner. It was several little things that added up to a disappointment.

Location being downtown inconvenient and average rooms and breakfast empty at 8:00

Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room and amenities were excellent and breakfast was superb with a variety of vegetarian options. Lastly, I enjoyed how secure the hotel it is

All good about the venue, however the breakfast was not up to the same standard, not that American hotel breakfasts have a high standard, but still, for the price I would have expected better quality and more variety.

Great place for a stay. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve ever seen!!

Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk and we waited for 10 minutes to check in. There was hair on our bathroom floor. The breakfast was less than impressive; no waffle batter, minimal options as many things were not refilled on day 1 and on day 2 safely there was even less. The room next to us was up until 4am making loud noise with voices, music, and banging around rattling our walls.
