Disappointing. Room had a horrible smell and the flooring was mismatched with thresholds missing. Beds were uncomfortable. Lots of damage on walls and doors. I will say that the service was extremely friendly despite the condition of the property. The indoor pool was nice but hot tub did not work.

Great easy check in! Great room! Good parking!Quiet! Pool had to have chemicals so had to wait on that. Everything great except waffle batter tasted awful to me, but breakfast bar clean and stocked!

The motel could use an update. Bathroom mirror edges were broken. Bathtub was scratched. The pool had been closed by the county. I had to to sign a piece of paper to hold a 50 dollar damage deposit.

The overall hotel was clean, and the staff was very accommodating. The pool area needs restoration. I was looking forward to the hot tub, but I decided not to get in because of the need for cleaning and repair. The manager did ask the next morning how my stay was, and I mentioned it. She seemed very open to checking into it. Overall, the hotel was clean.

Musty mildew place hard to breathe and floor was sticky tons of black hair in the bathroom on floor counters and sink. Something on sheets had stains on them. One light was unplugged when I plugged it in it did not work.

The first thing I noticed when we arrived is it smelled nice and looked very cleaned. The man at the counter was very courteous and seemed to take pride in his job. When we got to our room it also smelled fresh and was very clean. My only issue was the bed. The bed was very tall. I'm short, I am older and walk with a cane, so for me the bed the very tall. I was afraid I wasn't going to actually be able to get onto the bed. I was looking at the sofa thinking that might be my bed for the evening. After several attempts, I finally made it into the bed. That was my only issue. The bed was as tall as the bed side tables. Other than the height of the bed, it was a perfect stay. I would definitely stay at this location again ... But for me, it would be with a step stool.

I went in the room, it smelled heavily of urine and my shoes stuck to the floor, the door frames were dirty, and the tile was cracked where the transition piece was missing, it appeared someone urinated everywhere and they used a dry mop to get it up. The whole room was sticks but worst in and by the bathroom, it was humid, and it stunk. I left within 10 minutes.

Walking in the lobby was neat & clean. When we got to our room the bed linens were dirty. We stripped the beds & asked for a replacement set plus towels because our room only had 2. They gave us sheets & no new pillows. Two pillows were heavily stained. They didn't have comforters or towels so we had to wait until the next day. All of the towels are stained to some degree. The comforters we did get are ripped. The elevator was out for a full day. The bed was less than comfortable. The breakfast is good, staff is polite & lobby is clean & updated. We usually love staying at La Quinta but this was a disappointment.

Front desk staff was so beyond helpful & friendly trying to get us checked in a little early, given the drama their day held, but their cleaning staff left much to be desired in the room, I knew I was getting a pet friendly room but man was it horrible, the smell could knock you over, there were not 1, but 2 dead roaches on the floor in on room, the amount of dust & hair from the room not being wiped down was uncalled for

From a visual appearance the property looked clean and good. But each room had a bad moldy and musty smell. We traveled with a large group and everyone had the same complaint about their room. I will not stay here again.

Front desk was helpful but the cleaning and up keep of this property is horrible. They first put us in a room which had cockroaches in the dresser, restroom tub had a black ring , the toilet was black , there was s**t on the doors, and to top it off it smelt like sewer. Second room were given was a little better. Still had an odor ,the sheets had holes , and the walls were filthy. We just made the best of our stay and made a quick run to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies and covers. We did use the pool which was surprisingly pretty clean. Avoid this place is possible!

This place should be no more then 60 a night. The bed is a old spring mattress, super uncomfortable. It’s across the street from a busy truck stop and you hear loud trucks all night long. They seriously need to update.

In town was great. The dog next door continued to bark until late. Our room smelled HORRIBLE. We were double charged for every transaction and had to wait for refund. Management reached out and was super nice and got our refund back quickly. Seemed like the staff needed a little more training for check in.

We frequently use this location. After I made a mistake on my booking date in need of an unanticipated midnight check in, Rhys was very helpful in getting things corrected with my Expedia rep. The only downside was Jessica telling us the they don’t have late check out.

I booked this for my elderly father and his brother for their brother in laws out of state funeral. I didn’t read the fine print well enough to see the cancellation time was 6 pm. I understood no cancellation fee so I booked them another LaQuinta room closer to my aunt’s house in Bridge City. However, when my 56 yo brother and I (53 yo) tried to stay in the room the front desk clerk refused to let us check in even though I had all the information to do so. I had to go get another room in Bridge City and still pay for a room no one used.

The staff was very helpful, and both the lobby and room were clean. However, the shower and shower curtain in my room weren’t functioning properly, which was a bit inconvenient. On the bright side, the breakfast offered a great variety of food, which I really enjoyed. Overall, my stay was great, and I’d definitely consider staying here again.

We got the same room as from 2 weeks before. Saw a little bit more wear and tear around the bed frames. But room was still clean. B fast was excellent. Definitely will come back again.

Clerk advised me when checking in that pool & spa closes at 9:30pm, so I had to choose dinner or spa as I checked in at 8:15pm(wanted to maximize all my beach time in the late summer) Clerk was knowledgeable about good restaurants in the area (Tia Juanitas is great!). Bed was comfortable and slept very well, which is rare for me in a hotel bed. Breakfast was average for a free continental, fruits like apples and bananas were tiny.
