Pool not real clean ! Had 4 mysterious bites on my body ? Called and reported it, the manager still hadn’t responded by the following afternoon so I called them again . I was told they did a thorough investigation and found no trace of bedbugs. I sent pictures of the bites , it’s been a week and they are not completely healed .

We had a good time. However we booked the hotel for the pool and the space. We stayed from wed to sun. On saturday we were informed we couldnt use the pool because some staff members didnt keep up with the chemicals and it wont be ready until at least sunday night. My kids were very disappointed since we wanted to swim the entire time. The bathtub and batbroom had some issues that you could tell they tried to fix but didnt. For example the bathtub had a small shelf that was recaulked on and it wasnt level so we couldnt put anything on it because it would fall. There was only one person running breakfast and was in the back mist of breakfast amd when pancake mix needed to be refilled we had to find her after waiting awhile to get it filled.

The Bed could have been more comfortable. Room very big. Very clean Hotel. Breakfast had lots of options. Omelettes could have had more than just cheese in them. Lots of parking.

MOD was not very pleasant on welcoming guest nor accommodating at check in. Did not smile and was very discreet like she did not want to be at work. Pool water quality was very dirty and could not see bottom of pool where drain filters were located. Kids were not happy about not being able to swim due to bad water quality. Not seeing bottom filters and keeping pool open to guest is a safety issue and against health department code. Would not recommend staying at this location due to uncleanliness and unprofessional staff.

We were happy with our stay here! The property was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly! Everyone was happy with breakfast. Didn’t even have a little time to swim in the pool. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

The room was clean, updated and spacious and the breakfast they offer is very good! The only thing we didn’t like was being able to hear the room above us walking around at 6am. I would recommend staying here to others.

Very quiet which is nice thru the night. A fan would be welcome in any guest room as we had the ac running as the room was very warm..( in mid October) and it is loud coming on each time. Just an idea

You had a very large, noisy group of guests (at least 6) on the floor above us, after a sleepless night, they made us move instead of moving the large noisy group! We will not stay in Bay City Holiday Inn Express again. We were made to feel like it was our fault. The noise was ridiculously loud stomping all night long on the 3rd floor while we were on the second. The manager's answer was "You know how kids are". Then put them in a room with no one below them!! Not happy that I spent $700!!!
