My stay at the Baymont by Wyndham in Bay City, Michigan, was absolutely terrible. The room was in very poor condition, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The jacuzzi in our room had a broken drain plug, meaning you could spend all that time filling it up only for the water to start draining if you accidentally moved the plug while sitting in it. There was also a large opening at the bottom of the jacuzzi where the paneling was missing, making it look damaged, poorly maintained, and unkept. The bed was extremely noisy, making it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay. On top of that, there was a couple fighting right outside our room near the private exterior exit. With our sliding glass door open, we could hear the entire argument, which was ridiculous and made the experience even more unpleasant. The hotel and surrounding area both appeared run-down, and the overall condition of the property left a lot to be desired. For what I was charged, I expected a much better experience and a room that was properly maintained. Instead, I felt completely overcharged for what turned out to be a terrible stay.

First red flag was no ADA rooms Should've scrolled past, but the pictures and descriptions seemed okay. Except they didn't match real life. Kiki at front desk was so nice and sweet, bless her heart, I hope she still has a job although I wouldn't want to work there. So we get in our room and immediately something is not right. The smell is weird, cant identify it. The bathroom will beat you up its tiny and everything close together and very tiny counter space. So checked the mattress and figured out the odor.. bed bugs all in the sewing of the mattresses.. dead and alive. You could tell some were killed by heat so we asked for refund which we got denied and we left and went to bay vally resort right down the road.. only a few dollars more a night. Dont stay here.. run from this place! Its dark and shady and mostly looks like a by the hour kinda thing. No ada so wheelchairs are not accessible and no elevator either. Your breakfast is a small counter with a few muffins and a waffle maker. If you dare venture in.. leave everything in your car and sit on nothing!

Appears that they gave up on renovations. Had to unplug the microwave to watch TV. Slept on top of the covers. Won't return.
