Hilton Downtown was a pleasant experience while enjoying the Richmond area. It was very comfortable and clean. The on-site restaurant and bar are delicious and make great drinks. Will stay here again!

Upon check in the front desk didn’t even know there was a fine ding restaurant (La Grotta) within the hotel. Once in our room, we did not have bedding for the sofa bed. The phone in our room did not work. The shower was subpar. In the morning, housekeeping was knocking on our door before 9am and then 20minutes later waking our daughter. Then again until my husband told them to leave us alone as check out was 11am. The noise from the HVAC kept us awake throughout the night with a loud whistling noise when kicking on. Do not recommend.

The room was clean but rather dark—lack of lights. Staff was nice but not well informed, asked for directions to the National (a five minutes walk from the hotel) and the reception had no idea where it was located. Did not try to find out either. The bottle of soap in the shower was empty. The forgot the room was difficult to open and close. In short, somewhat expensive for what you get.

The room was lovely. High ceilings and enough space for a king size bed, and to walk around. very nice. clearly there was some water leakage in the ceiling at some point in the. We could see the dried water stains. Also, it would be helpful to have more ceiling light or overhead light. There’s a light in the entrance and then some smaller lights along the walls, but the room is big enough to need more. Additional, the shower gel container was empty. We used the bar soap so that was fine. Just letting you know. Thank you, Hilton for a lovely stay. The lobby area and front desk associates were very warm and welcoming. I appreciate the level of service they provided. Thank you again Erin
