Outstanding resort. Has everything you need and is a bit away from the hustle of Waikiki. It is a sprawling bustling resort where walking anywhere, even in the resort, is 5-10 min away. However everything here is top-tier. Price point reflects this. If you don’t want to pay $75 a night for self-parking, you can park for $24 a day a few feet away at the marina (which was safe) and was more convenient than the hotel’s parking garage

We stayed for 1 week in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. Overall the room was very nice and met our needs. We did have to call maintenance on 3 occasions, once for the icemaker not working, then the dryer wasn’t working, finally the room blew a fuse and we had several tvs/lamps not working. They came quickly to fix these items, but rather inconvenient. The biggest hassle however was the parking garage. We were told to use our room key for access in and out. This maybe worked 3x, and then we constantly got stuck as it would not work. Sometimes there was someone working the garage to help, but several times we would get stuck, holding up a large line of cars and couldn’t exit until someone came to fix the problem. This was extremely aggravating and inconvenient. I would never want to have a car in this building again. It made us want to avoid driving anywhere just to avoid the hassle.

We had a great stay! Our room was a one bedroom suite and it was perfect for us and our 1 year old. -There were plenty of places to eat or get takeout from. - the ocean is very accessible and not as crowded as Waikiki - we love the pool there. There is also a small lake that the baby can splash around before going into the ocean. We will definitely be coming back here!

This is an excellent hotel. Our room was spacious and we were happy to have a full kitchen. The hotel is immaculate, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there are multiple Hiltons all at this location all feeding to the same pools. The pools were crowded and not pleasant or restful. Luckily, the lagoon is outstanding! It’s, very large, perfect temperature water — not crowded at all. We love the lagoon. We recommend this hotel, but not if you want restful pool time.

I loved the location and how everything you needed was on property. 2 issues that weren't a huge deal 1. A few times during the day the elevators would not stop to take you down. We realized a hack that was to push the up button, ride it up then back down. We waited for more than 11 minutes one time to get down. 2. the pools are too small for that big of a property. It was next to impossible to find a pool chair. And pool service would be nice too. Othewise we had a great stay. Our room had everything we needed as it had a full kitchen. We would stay there again despite the pool and elevator situation.

Chose the Hilton Grand since we needed a room and a hotel that could accommodate our family's needs (washer dryer in the room and any pools for the baby). While the room and service were very good. we couldn't really relax during this vacation. The hotel is just MASSIVE. So many rooms all going to the 5 pools on the premises. The pools just couldn't contain the amount of guests. Pools were overflowing with people and not even one umbrella to protect them from the sun. This isn't something you expect from a Hilton (On the private beach they charged a whopping 40$ for an umbrella and chair). I would not recommend going to this hotel not for relaxing and not for anything else (since it is also a bit far from Waikiki Central)

Expensive for what it is. Because oils so many resort arms of hilton share the pools, they are very busy with guests from 5 6 hotels using pools, and no where near enough seating. Next time we'll try Sheraton.

We stayed at the Grand Waikikian twice before and were VERY disappointed this time. Paid for a 1 bedroom suite with ocean view, not very clean at all, no one slept the first 3 nights. There was a loud bang every 15 minutes coming from inside our wall. On the third night at 2:30 am I went to the front desk and asked to be moved or fix the noise. They sent maintenance up at 3 am who “confirmed the noise” but there was “nothing they could do”. The next morning we spoke to a manager and were moved but it was a downgrade. The new room hadn’t even been cleaned! There was pee all over the toilet seat, down the front, on the floor, sheets were not cleaned and smelled, the washing machine smelled so bad I refused to wash our clothes in it and had to keep it closed, the drains and toilet were clogged, the bathtub would gurgle anytime someone flushed or drained something somewhere else (bathtub is in the room, so good luck sleeping), you could hear everything the people above you were doing all the time. They sent room service up to clean, but it wasn’t done well and the pee spots on the floor remained the rest of our stay. When room service showed up at 9-9:30 am and we were still waking up, there were some that said they couldn’t come back if we didn’t leave in the next 30-60 min for them to clean the room. Spoke to a manager who didn’t help resolve any concerns and nothing was done to help us enjoy the stay. Do not recommend!

Staff we're accommodating and friendly. Came early to drop off our luggages since check in was still at 4pm. Upon reviewing our reservation the front desk was able to check us in. Such a good convenience for my family which we appreciated. Facility was well maintained and clean. Everything is near this area, a mall is also nearby. I would return to this hotel with my family.

We booked this property for the convenience. When we arrived they were able to get us a room earlier than check in time which is great since we have a baby. But then we were directed to a little area away from the lobby. I didn’t know that the property was a time share. So they tried to get us to do one of those meeting things. We declined and they respected that so that was great. The room itself was a little run down, the beds weren’t hotel quality. They could have done better by cleaning it, when we arrived there were crumbs and bathroom sink wasn’t clean. My baby crawls and I could tell the floors were not cleaned right, he’s hands and feet were brown from the dirt. The outside patio was not cleaned at all there were dead roaches and I definitely couldn’t let my baby out there because the outside floors were black. There’s no food in the property you have to walk to near by restaurants which are pretty mediocre as well. The pool waters are cold but it didn’t stop my teen from swimming. Parking was overpriced we ended up finding parking a block away for half the price. Overall we did have a pleasant experience, location was very convenient, hotel is quiet, and staff were pretty friendly.

Our room was never able to connect to the wifi to watch any of our streaming services. While we only stayed here for 3 nights and did not spend a ton of time in our room, it was rather inconvenient to not have streaming services available in our resort suite in the evenings. Despite two visits from their IT department, they were never able to figure out why none of the TVs in our room would connect to the wifi. Our ice machine in our fridge was missing completely, although the room service attendant quickly brought 3 bags of ice for us once he realized that we did not have a working ice machine. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I'd say the hotel itself was lacking in some essential resources to be able to fully support the staff and guests.

The room is not the same as pictures. I booked a room with bathtub in bedroom, but got a room where the tub is in washroom, not in bedroom. Also the room is at 5th floor and close to intersection so it’s noisy in balcony, without view. It’s disappointing overall.

we had a wonderful time during our stay. We had a beautiful ocean view. Our room had two bedrooms and a pull out bed, which fit our family of six. The kitchen and washer/dryer was nice to have. The Hilton village had a variety of restaurants and shops so we didn’t have to go far when we needed a quick bite to eat or needed to grab something from the grocery store. Everything was easily accessible.

We loved our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Grand Waikikian tower room 2602 in February 2024. Our room was gorgeous- 2 bedrooms & 2 bathroom ocean view room. We had ocean views from both balconies, one facing forward and the other towards Diamond Head. We did have buildings in front of us but we still could see the ocean and the fireworks on Friday. The room was luxurious. We liked the Kitchen. The room was ready for check in 2 hours earlier than expected. If I stayed in Waikiki again I would stay at the other end of the Waikiki beach as there is more restaurants and things to do down that end. The HV was beautiful but the food and drinks were very expensive on the property and not many other restaurants near by. Goofys cafe outside the HV property had wait times of 1 1/2 hours in the mornings.

Not happy with the service from the beginning upon checking in. I had booked a 2-bedroom suite with a King and 2 double beds; also called four days prior to arrival to confirm room type. Upon arrival, they were unable to accommodate the preferred room and was put into an ADA room with no way of changing anything. Not happy with the service from the front desk unfortunately.

Nice location, close to the beach and restaurants. Check in was disappointing, initially didn’t get the room I booked. Took over an hour to get it straightened out. Check in staff and manager had poor customer service. The hotel room was clean and spacious but is in need of upgrades

My family and I had a wonderful stay on property. The staff was very welcoming. The only issue i had was with check in. The wait time and how long it took to bring up my reservation. Also, when i called housekeeping for more dish washer soap and towels it took a long time and i had to call back a second time, which was when they sent it. Ither than that it's a great place to stay and I would definitely go back.

The rooms are spacious and the location are views are breathtaking. But the facilities and staff left a lot to be desired. - We reached on a chilly day. The rooms have no heating and there are no space heaters. - First morning there was no hot water. Took multiple calls with maintenance to get an update on repair. - Elevators are always backed up and there is a queue during peak hours. We had to budget 5-10 minutes extra to just to get from our room to the lobby. - Our bathroom had a slight but distinct sewer smell. Overall communication with the staff was a bit poor and showed a lack of care on their part. I will look for a different property for our next Honolulu vacation.

Horrible service at check in, front desk. Keanu really did not care. He kept on saying because we booked with a third party we have no priority. Therefore they gave us the worst possible room on the lowest possible floor. No effort was made to try to accommodate us. We will not stay at Hilton again.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. This property is big..but you get used to it. Loved the beach and most of the pools . Restaurants were good...oceanfront restaurant was the best! Food, drinks and service amazing! But expensive. We loved the comfortable bed and squirt toilet! We didn't even leave Property it's like its own city

We thouroughly enjoyed our staycation. There was plenty of space and everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the restaurants, shopping and of course the pool/beach.

Hotel rooms and resort property are beautiful. Quick access to beach, pools, and shopping. Dining options are limited with long lines and wait times. Small grocery store is very expensive and overpriced. Staff are friendly, however, be careful as they try to get to you to your timeshares for alleged discounted rates on activities, ie., Luau and boat excursions. I am still waiting on my refund for the luau.

Room was dirty, Parking fee of $72.25 a day is ridiculous. Could never find a chair at the pool due to many people sneaking in off the beach. The Luau show is a joke, Everyone by the lagoon has a better view for free then you who paid over a $100 a ticket. Won’t ever stay here again.

Room was clean and quiet. Needs some minor TLC. It was lovely to discover a washer & dryer in the room. Didn't really use the amenities (pool) as we were too busy doing other things. Lovely resort.

First time in Hawaii. Hotel was great. Very roomy, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The fact that it had a kitchen was great. Close to everything shopping centers walking distance. Driving distance for the north shore and east shore (30-45 minutes).
