Stayed 2 nights

Definitely no where close to a 5 star Riad more like a 2 star. The rooms smelled putrid. Food was terrible and not prepared by someone who knows how to cook. Construction going on in main courtyard right below our room for hours including drilling, sawing, and banging - we could not nap. Night before was soccer game where locals came to watch Morocco play in African Cup - TV was in main courtyard of Riad and right below our room so again unable to rest/sleep due to screaming and tons of cigarette smoke. Reception never answered the phone - no one was in charge at the hotel. General Manger was not available despite repeated requests. Owner coincidentally was there one evening and told us that he couldn’t do anything because the general manager is in charge. This place is an absolute scam and should never be billed as a 5 star hotel when there is no service whatsoever. We couldn’t even get extra hangers. Towels and Linens are old and smelly and there are no feather pillows. We want our money back!”

Good location, pleasant and helpful Staff, clean. Rooms are a bit sterile feeling, not cozy. Had some water leaking from the ceiling. Breakfast was just ok. Had a nice rooftop bar

The staff was friendly and the Riad itself is extremely beautiful and decorated with great taste. Now, as it is the case in these types of old buildings, the acoustics makes in VERY echo. But this is normal.
