Stayed 2 nights

My family and I came to the area for a weekend getaway to take our son to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City and stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights… and I could say the stay was definitely not long enough! It was a beautiful and quaint little lodge that was tucked away in the wilderness!! I had a mix up on my days and was able to call the owner directly to correct my mistake and he was so helpful and took care of it right away even though I booked through VRBO. Met him the 2nd night we were there and he was so friendly and remembered talking to me! Check in and check out was a breeze! The staff was super friendly and helpful, they were putting up Christmas stuff for the guests and were in a great mood everytime we interacted. The first night we were there they lit us a fire in the fire pit and offered complimentary s’mores! My son loved that! The room was equipped with everything you could think of, had a little mini kitchenette with a mini stove with small pots and pans to cook with, utensils, coffee maker, coffee, creamer, sugar, mini fridge, toaster and even a microwave! We didn’t cook but the attention to detail in these rooms were very well thought out! We loved how peaceful the area was and loved our experience in Bryson City and they really do it up for the Polar Express! Our son had a blast! We would love to come back to visit in the summer and maybe even the fall and we would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you again for a peaceful and lovely stay!!
