A wonderful place with amazing staff. I was already expecting a lot of noise in the inner yard and it was ok except that they started moving metal furniture and stuff outdoors etc. after 1am making extra noise which was completely unnecessary. I do not mind loud people outside but this was just not needed. Overall I enjoyed my stay a lot in this lovely hotel.

If you want to go to sleep before 1am don’t stay here. The bar by the same name but operated by others keeps the music loud until midnight or 1am then you can listen to them clean up and put all the bottles away. Otherwise a nice clean hotel, know before you go!

Wir waren mit sechs Mädels da. Und das Hotel ist einfach so toll gestaltet und hat ein wirklich besonderes Design. Alle Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich, die Zimmer geräumig und die Badezimmer groß. Bis 01:00 Uhr ist es nach hinten raus sehr laut, hat uns aber nicht gestört und es gibt Ohropax auf den Zimmern. Auch die gesellige Rooftopbar ist einen Besuch wert. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder ♥️

Excellent hotel! Very charming and situated in a very nice area. Room had fridge, espresso machine, water boiler, tea, ironing board and so on. Roof bar and reception bar are super nice. Love it!

Sehr schöne und zentrale Unterkunft, aber schwer mit dem Auto zu erreichen! Restauration im Innenhof, von daher sehr lange, sehr laut in der KEI-Week! ;) Trotzdem absolut empfehlenswert!

It's a centric hotel, confortable and very nice decorated as preparing a trip. They also have a rooftop that I couldn't experieinced but seems to be amazing, only open from Thursday to Sunday.

The room we had was really nice, but a bit cramped. The patio was nice to relax on. Having the kitchen was nice to do some actual cooking for ourselves instead of having to eat out. The bathroom was quite small and dim (which was the only major downside) - and the mirror/light was rotated 90 degrees from what it should have been. Having a clothes washer to use was nice as well, but some instructions would have been nice since we weren't Dutch and are used to a different style

Wat een leuk hotel! De inrichting is zo origineel! Het personeel is zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam, er wordt heel hard gewerkt om het iedereen naar de zin te maken. Ik had een leuk ingerichte kamer, met zelfs een klein keukentje er in. En zeer schoon ook. Het hotel ligt midden in het centrum van Groningen, op 10 minuten lopen van het station. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, en zeer gevarieerd, evt. buiten op het terras te nuttigen. Als ik weer naar Groningen ga, logeer ik hier weer!

fijn hotel met goede kamers en erg vriendelijk personeel. Wel lawaai van de straat door ligging binnenstad dus neem oordoppen mee. Maar door goede centrale ligging heel goed om de stad te verkennen. Geen normale tv zenders, alleen apps om met je eigen account in te loggen op netflix etc.

Besonderes Hotel mitten im Zentrum von Groningen. Dennoch ruhige Zimmer, die bestens eingerichtet sind. Leckeres Frühstück und viele Möglichkeiten drum herum. Sehr empfehlenswert !!!

A terrible noise from several hundred young people partying two meter from our window, music hammering until two in the night and noise from the clean up until four in the morning. Smoke from sigaretts and mariuana from people one meter from the window in the room. It is a scandal that we have to pay 130 Euro for this nightmare.

Ligt mooi centraal in groningen. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Roof top erg leuk en relaxed. Als ik weer naar groningen ga, boek ik hier zeker. Ontbijt was ook lekker. Variatie genoeg.

Ligt mooi centraal in groningen. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Roof top erg leuk en relaxed. Als ik weer naar groningen ga, boek ik hier zeker. Ontbijt was ook lekker. Variatie genoeg.

Excellent hotel! Very charming and situated in a very nice area. Room had fridge, espresso machine, water boiler, tea, ironing board and so on. Roof bar and reception bar are super nice. Love it!

The good - I had a great price for a room with a balcony (the balcony was awesome). All but 1 of the wait staff were excellent. Location was perfect. The not so good. Breakfast, cheese old, bread loaf (yesterday's bread), coffee machine for breakfast - also not so good, paying a pretty good price for not so great food. Also the roof top deck that was raved about wasn't open for the two days I was there - no reason, just not open. I'd give it 3.6 stars - for me is a pretty good rating.

Fun travel themed hotel with everything you need. Was quiet when we stayed (winter) but they warn it can get noisy with the bars around the hotel in season. Windows have hard shutters with acoustic foam on to counter this, plus ensure a good blackout! Would go back - better than other hotels I’ve stayed at in Groningen.
