Me, my husband and my 2 children had great 5days stayed in the market hotel..We booked 2 rooms (602 & 404) The breakfast was nice. ..ambience is perfect..all the staffs are firendly and helpful. The hotel is very comfort and close to the parking lot (forum groningen) where we park our car there. Would love to stay there again next time.

Sehr modernes Hotel direkt am Markt gelegen. Mit dem Auto kann das Hotel nicht angefahren werden, am besten im Navi Parkhaus Forum eingeben, nur zwei Minuten zum Hotel. Sehr schöne Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit kleiner Küchenzeile. Frühstück war eher durchschnittlich aber ausreichend.

Das Hotel ist hervorragend. Wir waren während des MotoGP Rennens in Assen dort und waren von den Zimmern, dem Personal und der Lage absolut begeistert. Es war alles sehr sauber, sehr modern und das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage. Einen Stern mussten wir leider dennoch abziehen, da es abends etwas lauter draußen war (ein Studentenzentrum ist nebenan), die versprochene Dachterasse gerade umbebaut wird und das Frühstücksangebot recht klein war. Außerdem hat das Hotel keinen eigenen Pakplatz. Das nächste Parkhaus ist 3 Gehminuten entfernt. Die tollen Zimmer und der exellente Service haben dies aber fast alles kompensieren können.

Ok. Fangen wir mit der Anreise an. Diese war unkompliziert, aber nur, wenn man sich vorher mit den Parkmöglichkeiten auseinandersetzt... Leider relativ teuer. In der Unterkunft angekommen war der Check-in unkompliziert. Das Wetter war schlecht und so wollten wir in die Sauna des Full-Service-Spas. Hier wurden wir allerdings völlig enttäuscht. Wir haben das teuerste Hotel am Platz tatsächlich eben wegen dieses Angebotes ausgesucht. Doch dann mussten wir feststellen, dass die Sauna extra gebucht werden muss. Und zwar für 12,5 p.P. und Stunde, da die Sauna dann exklusiv für einen allein ist. Anders als beworben war die Sauna auch noch nicht an und dann war sie die ersten beiden Stunden bereits besetzt. Nächster Tag: Frühstück eher mittelmäßig. Präsentation der Lebensmittel in Ordnung, aber während der Stunde kam kein einziges Mal jemand der vielen Bedienungen vorbei um unsere Teller abzuräumen!? Wir hatten bestimmt 10 Teller stehen. Dann, als wir beide noch was holen waren, war plötzlich alles weg. Inklusive Besteck... Geht lieber in ein günstigeres Hotel und holt euch ein Frühstück woanders... Noch eine Sache zur Dusche. Diese ist nämlich so, dass das Glas gleichzeitig den Raum abschließt. Was macht man, wenn man mit einem Kumpel oder Kollegen ein Zimmer teilt? Wer denkt sich sowas aus?

Wir hatten bei der Buchung ein ruhiges Zimmer gewünscht. bekommen haben wir ein Zimmer zum Marktplatz, wo täglich ab 6 Uhr ein Wasserwerfer-Fahrzeug den Müll zusammen kehrt und dafür sorgt, dass ein Ausschlafen nicht möglich ist. Das Zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber. Das Personal ist super.

Grote en mooie kamer. Heel modern en schoon. We zaten aan de kant van de markt met een geweldig uitzicht. Personeel heel vriendelijk. Het enige minpuntje wat ik zou kunnen bedenken is dat de kamer wat aan de warme kant was want we kregen de airco niet lager dan 19 graden.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Sauberkeit ist mangelhaft. Toiletten waren nicht richtig sauber. Zimmer war sehr muffig. Bettwäsche hatte sehr nach Öl gerochen.

Tolles Zimmer - geräumig und geschmackvoll mit einem sehr gemütlichen Bett. Es ist rund um das Hotel allerdings auch nachts sehr laut und die Fenster offenbar nicht komplett schallisoliert. Bitte unbedingt Gehörschutz mitbringen!

Wir waren bereits mittags im Hotel und unser Zimmer war schon für uns bereit, so dass wir bereits um zwölf alles erledigt hatten und los ziehen konnten. Das Zimmer war großzügig gestaltet mit riesiger Dusche. Das Bad war offen, so dass man den Mitreisenden gut kennen sollte. Betten waren sehr bequem und das Zimmer gut klimatisiert. Das Frühstücksbüffet am nächsten Morgen war reichhaltig und immer gut gefüllt. Zum Beispiel gab es sehr viele Kaffeeautomaten welche gut verteilt waren, so dass es auch bei hohem Andrang nicht zu Wartezeiten kommt. Das einzige kritische wäre vielleicht, dass die Frühstückszeiten am Wochenende länger als bis 10.30 Uhr hätten sein können

Mooie ruime en comfortabele kamer. Alles wat je mag verwachten in een hotel van deze prijsklasse is aanwezig. De kamer trof ik schoon en netjes aan. Het was goed slapen in het aanwezige bed. Ik had een kamer aan de achterkant van het hotel met uitzicht op het Forum. Geen fraai gebouw, maar wel aan de rustige zijde.

Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en reageert snel. Onhandig dat de deur van de kledingkast slecht te sluiten was en dat je je handdoeken niet dicht bij de douche kon leggen/hangen. Verder een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Great hotel, fab location, great staaf and really modern. Cant wait to come back. One slight thing the tv in the room was supposed to have chromecast to link your phone to stream but this doesnt work. Said the wifi of the hotel was not the same as the chromecast.

It's a nice and modern hotel - but service is just not their strength. Waited for like ~15 min at the reception while she was just speaking on the phone. This is weird. No one else came, and the reception just let us stand there. In the room, the chrome casting to the LCD TV didnt work (I use this kind of service routinely at hotels). The reception had no idea and the solution was to send a technician to our room - in the evening when you're in bed is not the moment for that. Reception should be trained and educated in basic room amenities and functionality - obviously I dont expect them to be tech wizards but this was not that kind of problem. Anyway - the hotel is in good shape. No major problems but they have no real concept of real service and hospitality. That said - this is common in NL.

Felt foolish staying here. There was a fair directly in front of the hotel with spotlights directed into rooms, air raid sirens, rides, amplified screaming and pounding bass that started at noon and went on until midnight. There was a fair directly in front of the hotel with spotlights directed into rooms, air raid sirens, rides, amplified screaming and pounding bass that started at noon and went on until midnight. Sehr modernes Hotel direkt am Markt gelegen. Mit dem Auto kann das Hotel nicht angefahren werden, am besten im Navi Parkhaus Forum eingeben, nur zwei Minuten zum Hotel. Sehr schöne Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit kleiner Küchenzeile. Frühstück war eher durchschnittlich aber ausreichend.

Das Hotel ist hervorragend. Wir waren während des MotoGP Rennens in Assen dort und waren von den Zimmern, dem Personal und der Lage absolut begeistert. Es war alles sehr sauber, sehr modern und das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage. Einen Stern mussten wir leider dennoch abziehen, da es abends etwas lauter draußen war (ein Studentenzentrum ist nebenan), die versprochene Dachterasse gerade umbebaut wird und das Frühstücksangebot recht klein war. Außerdem hat das Hotel keinen eigenen Pakplatz. Das nächste Parkhaus ist 3 Gehminuten entfernt. Die tollen Zimmer und der exellente Service haben dies aber fast alles kompensieren können.

Wonderful hotel, second best I’ve stayed in while in Europe (first is the Artz in Barcelona). Very nice, clean, beautiful rooms, wonderful bar and restaurant. Breakfast was incredible. Nothing isn’t to like!

Arrived Tuesday and check in was good . Went down to the restaurant and ordered the veal and asked for well done with no red / blood whatsoever. I was very clear on this . Was in the company of two others, Food arrived and clearly cooked to medium with blood clearly visible. Food was sent back and arrived back when the other diners were finished their meal . Veal was well done on the outside but still red in the middle / centre of the meat. In addition the accompanying chips were undercooked and clearly rushed to accompany the meal . I then order a second pinot Grigio and a different wine arrived . I did not drink it and called it a night . I expesssed my disappointment on the night to the hostess who apologised but no adjustment / gesture/ etc reflected in the bill . I believe that in these situations some gesture of goodwill should be made . It resulted in me choosing not to dine there for the rest of my stay . Breakfast is good in the hotel normally but on Thursday they had no yougurt which I always choose along with the nice selection of nuts and granola. I asked for a portion of yougurt but was told that it had not been delivered that morning . Again I found this a strange proposition as would imagine that stocks would not have to be delivered on a daily basis and that some back up stock would be in store . At a minimum a few tubs from the myriad of stores beside the hotel could act as a contingency plan. Not ideal but a solution but I basically had no breakfast that day

Wir waren bereits mittags im Hotel und unser Zimmer war schon für uns bereit, so dass wir bereits um zwölf alles erledigt hatten und los ziehen konnten. Stayed here for one night while passing through Groningen. The location is ideal, right in the centre so it was easy to get everywhere on foot.
