Easy check in, helpful, heated spa

We loved everything about this property except one thing.. the false advertising about the studio having an electric frypan, I have it in writing in my booking, but when getting there it has everything in the kitchen except for that, when I asked the lady at reception about it (as this is the only reason we stayed there as we wanted our own kitchen space) she just told us to use the camp kitchen. I wasn’t happy about that. The camp kitchen was tiny and a struggle to cook there as there was constantly a family of about 20 people there most of the day and night .. Everything else was fine though, room was big and clean and a short walk to the esplanade .

Really liked the heated pool and spa.. enjoyed a couple of afternoons in the spa... bbq area was handy to our unit and neat and tidy area .. the unit was clean but a little bit out dated .. and I thought we were getting a cabin by the pictures on web page but got a unit instead .. but over all a nice place ..

the pool area could do with an update , place was old but kept in good condition great recreation area staff were friendly

We absolutely recommended fraser coast top tourist park for all ages and families. Great facilities best service the staff are fabulous and meet all needs and enquiries promptly beach is literally at the end of the street and the pool and spa area are nothing short of perfect 5 stars all round 😀

Was great for a 1 night stop over, we were in a studio apartment, very dated but comfortable. Bit noisy from upstairs footsteps. Mineral pool and spa is a bonus. Friendly staff

The cabin was amazing. Had everything I needed, was very spacious and clean! The pool in the complex was very nice and new. Location is perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

we love Hervey Bay, the cabin was ok, suited our purposes, could have been much cleaner, along with the camp kitchen. the kids loved the games room and the beautiful pool area. would stay there again definitely, new owners apparently, just taken over.

Comfortable bed, saucepans didn’t have matching lids, microwave dirty inside, BBQ in camp kitchen unusable due to being covered in grease. Staff happy to help, replacing electric frypan and kettle which didn’t work. Short walk to beach, cafes and shops. Staff were busy cleaning up after the floods in March.

I liked the spa and security gate at night time.

The beds were comfy and it was reasonably clean. It was quiet overnight and close enough to the beach. They were responsive to requests. But there were no power points near the main bed, the power point under the tv didn’t work at all and neither did the aircon. So they just need to check on those electrical things.

I was aware that the property was cheap was not expecting the state of the room. There was built up dust on the shelves that held the glasses and dishes. It obviously had not been cleaned for a while, yet the sign in the room stated it was thoroughly cleaned after each guest apparently no one had stayed there for a while. There were spider webs around the bedside table and my husband found some crawling on him during the night. I would recommend that they get the whole area cleaned and fumigated.

When we checked in, the floor was still wet from mopping, and the nauseating smell of chlorine/bleach was throughout. It lasted for hours. The furniture looks like it is from the Salvation Army, terribly uncomfortable, there are no bedside lights, only ceiling downlights with the switch by the door. There is no real bathroom. There is a shower and a separate toilet cubicle but the wash basin is in the hallway right next to the rear entry door with no vanity and no place to put anything on. The stay is relatively cheap compared to others but had I known what it is really like, we would have stayed elsewhere.

This accommodation is so basic. For the price its ok. Floor was gritty under foot so needed to be cleaned. No power point near the bed for my husbands sleep apnea machine. Had to ask for a long extension lead. We are not snobs but couldn't stay longer than 1 night.

Older property, good location to esplanade. If you are staying in the studio apartments the upstairs tenants are noisey and heavy footed.

The check in was good. Friendly and informative. There were no hand towels. The bedroom did not have any bedside tables or lamps. There was a small shelf on each side of the bed but they needed repair. My husband and I both use CPAP machines and there really wasn’t anywhere to put the machines as they were broken and very small. Had to get out of bed to turn the light out. It would be nice to have more bedside space with a lamp. Bed was comfortable and cosy.

The property is not set up for long stays not enough chairs crockery no where to hang clothes or unpacked suitcases No broom no hairdryer no hand towel no doona kitchen chairs very uncomfortable rusty and old Wouldn’t stay there again

Spacious and clean cabin with air conditioning, smart tv, wifi, full size fridge, basic cooking facilities, good location with beach and dining options nearby, walking distance if so inclined. Couple little annoying things, dripping shower, bathroom sliding door doesn’t quite stay shut properly, ceiling fan control knobs missing made hard to adjust Overall great place to stay and little things not change good facilities, convenient location and value for money

Close to most things, very nice Thai restraunt next door which we enjoyed for dinner. Close drive to the beach. Living area was big, bathroom small, bedroom average size. Clean property. My parking area was under a tree and next morning had animal crap all over new paintwork which I wasn’t impressed about.

Good location and price. Good size room but the room would benefit from a table or chair or somewhere to hang up things.

While we were staying there, a major flash flood event occurred in Hervey Bay. The staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating!

My family and I were traveling north and chose to pause in Harvey Bay. Since it was an unplanned stop, we were unable to reserve any motels, as they were all fully booked. Fortunately, this was the only accommodation available in the area. We stayed for just one night, and I can confidently say that the staff at this establishment are the best in Harvey Bay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome, and they even opened the door for us. The check-in process was incredibly smooth. When we entered our room, everything was prepared, including the air conditioning, which was a relief given the heat outside. Our parking spot was conveniently located next to our room, making parking very easy. We particularly appreciated the proximity of the Thai takeaway restaurant; after a long day of driving, the food was absolutely sublime. Checking out was also effortless, as we simply needed to drop the key in the designated box and leave. Finally, regarding communication, when we accidentally left something behind, we messaged the property through the Wotif app and promptly received a reply, informing us to collect the items at reception. This demonstrates their amazing service, even after check-out.

The lady that was at the desk wasn't very helpful and seemed like all she was worried about was getting home. The tv didnt work,well so we thought but she was like we'll try fix it tomorrow? Another staff member(she was in the accounts office)was more helpful and luckily she lived on site just above our room. I suppose you get what you pay for.

The reception was friendly and helpful. We had all we needed for a pleasant overnight stay.
