The lady checking us in and out was exceptionally nice as well as the night lady we brought snacks from. Smelled clean when coming in. Loved the layout of the room as well. Hate the pool not open! Didn't find out until we got there. Should have been been told prior to arrival. Everything else was great!

The check in was fast and easy and the front desk was helpful. The first room they put me in had such a terrible old and misty smell I had to walk out immediately. I asked for another room and they accommodated me right away. The next room was fine but the carpets looked old and worn. The blinds didn’t close all the way but otherwise the room was quiet. It’s clear it’s an old hotel and needs some updating. The breakfast was good and the fitness center was nice as well. For the price it’s not bad but not the best.

The hotel is in serious need of a deep cleaning or renovation. The carpets were stained and emitted a strong, unpleasant odor of old carpet and pets, which lingered so heavily that I had to air out all my luggage for several days after returning home. The bathroom was extremely cramped—the toilet and shower were squeezed into a tiny space, and the door would hit the toilet when closing. The room's sofa was worn, with stained cushions, and the refrigerator barely keep anything cold. Additionally, the sink and vanity were awkwardly placed directly in front of the beds, making it impossible to use them without disturbing anyone sleeping.

The room was very clean& also very quiet. Close to tanger outlet for shopping,wal-mart,&a good variety of restaurants & fast food nearby. Very close to the convention center/performing arts center as well(almost next door)The layout of the room is great,feels almost like a mini-studio apt. My only complaint is the mini-fridge doesn't get cold enough(even after several days) to keep food,milk,etc.from spoiling. I put a thermometer in it & after 4 days on the highest setting it would only cool to 43 degrees. Otherwise,it was the best hotel for the price among the four i stayed at in the area. I will definitely stay there again.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Facility looked new. Only complaint here is the bed was hard as a rock. Just as comfortable had i slept on the floor. Also listening to the elevator machinery every morning starting at 530 and never stopping kept me up all morning hours before i needed to wake up. I could not get the fan to stay on in the room. It was only on auto apparently. Was in room 208.

However, the lighting was poor… couldn’t see to put make-up on and the cord on the brand new hair dryer was so tight that yiu coukdnt stand in front of the mirror and dry your hair. The rooms lack drawer space to place clothes for longer stays. The "queen" beds felt like doubles, and the sofa bed was too uncomfortable to be used. Just sitting on the sofa was uncomfortable. The room description states "rooms should aways feel, well, roomy." Yeah, the room appears spacious until you soon discover this is very little space to put your belongings. And the door to the bathroom is too large and you have to maneuver around the toilet to close it.

The hotel was nice, the room was very spacious with nice setup. My only complaints are the bathroom was small and the bed was a bit too much on the firm side. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good for a hotel buffet style. Location was good, we were able to get on the highway and go anywhere in town in 20minutes or less. I would come back again for sure.

Thermostat in room was not functional as I couldn’t adjust it. Room temps varied from 65 to 78 at one point and I couldn’t sleep well because I kept having to get in and out of the covers. Staff was what i expect of a Hyatt property but the room temperature issue was a big deal.

From the time I checked in till the time I checked out my expectations were exceeded. Jen checked us in. She was efficient and fast and gave us all details that we needed. We utilized the pool for a couple hours in which my children were extremely happy about. After the pool we came over to the bar area where Jen was working. I can't say enough about her hospitality and kindness to me and my daughters. When the front desk died down a little, Lizzie came over and My toddler was smitten by her. After a little while my daughters and I went up to our room. We loved the option to rotate the TV to either side of the room. I also believe having the options to use the different ports for the TV on the wall was great. Although we didn't use it, Knowing the option is there was nice. In the morning we came down for breakfast. There was many options. The scrambled eggs and frosted flakes were a hit. We will definitely be back.

Took over 1 hour waiting for my room upon arrival. Room was supposed to be ready at 3pm per the listing. I arrived at 3:15pm. Didn’t get my room until 4:30pm. Not ok. Receptionist said “I texted you”. Zero text messages. Do not promise what you can’t deliver. “Sorry” has become such a useless word and used for an excuse.

Our plane had been diverted; it was late at night and we were looking for a place to stay. We found this place, but no shuttle and no available cabs to get there. The front desk clerk called somebody he knew for us, the guy picked us up at the airport, took us through a drive thru to get something to eat, and came back early the next morning to take us back to the airport! The desk clerk was extremely helpful and good to us, and we will always appreciate and remember him

Upon arrival we were informed that the rooms wasn’t ready and that I will receive a text message when the room was ready, we decided to go to the mall and I called 2 hours later to find out that they had rooms but the front desk didn’t assign us a room. After my call, immediately we got the text, later we were check in a room that the toilet was clogged and we were changed to another room. And 3 years after the pandemic they still only give you housekeeping services every other day.

The hotel is ok. It was convenient to the venue that we attended that evening. My wife and I were celebrating her birthday with a concert nearby. Decided to have drink at there bar before we left. The bar tender was rude and you could tell she did not want to be there. After the concert we wanted to have a night cap prior to going to our room. It was about 10:40 and the same dreadful women behind the bar was still there and decided to close the bar at 10:30 rather than the actual hours of 11pm. It’s a Saturday night…really? Nonetheless we decided it wasn’t worth it and went to bed choosing not to stay there again. To top things off, our air conditioner is set on a motion sensor and would repeatedly kick off leaving the room uncomfortable. There many other good options nearby without the inconvenience and attitudes.

I am glad I chose this Hyatt Place for my stay while attending a conference at the Charleston Convention Center. The hotel is only a 5 min walk away from the Convention Center. The hotel was quiet, safe, comfortable, and tidy. They offered free breakfast. There wasn't an airport shuttle, but there did not seem to be many hotels in the area that did offer an airport shuttle. If you fly in late at night, there may not be many ride-shares available, so just get in the taxi line ($17).

Breakfast was not that good. Eggs appeared to be some kind on powdered eggs, hash browns were never cooked correct (soggy, not crispy). The meats each day must have been turkey meat, because it just didn't taste good to me and those in my party. There was some construction across the street that woke you up around 6-6:30 every morning. Need to upgrade a few plugs in the rooms to usb or usbc. Front desk staff was great and the place seemed very clean.

My overall experience was great. But I MUST WARN YOU. There is NO RESTAURANT OR LOUNGE! The staff was very nice when I told them about the restaurant. They had snakes available and gave me a discount on the food I purchased. I would definitely recommend !
