Excellent staff, delicious breakfast, convenient and quiet. Our kids loved the indoor pool. Would highly recommend.

Nous avions un peu peur des travaux mais nous n'avons pas été gêné par contre il fait utiliser Google maps car Waze ne prend pas en compte les travaux. La promenade le long de la mer est agréable (pleins d'activités pour les familles) et il y a quelques brasseries très bien proches de l'hôtel. 2 petits bémols à notre séjour, dommage que la piscine soit peu chauffée et attention à la literie qui est très très très ferme... Attention pour le parking souterrain il n'est pas gratuit mais à 20€/nuit sauf si il y a de la place pour stationner devant l'hôtel. Sinon l'hôtel est très propre,assez calme et le petit déjeuner est plutôt bien

Hotel Fanat has a freindly professional vibe toward customers, we noticed this extended amongst the staff members creating an overall enjoyable atmosphere. The quality of food and service at their restaurant is exceptional. Staying here has been an absolute pleasure.

It was a wonderful stay. The room was clean and large, access to a bar and restaurant was exactly what we needed. Perfect respite from our travels!

Hotel was very clean and rooms were very modern and nice. However the hotel is right beside a construction site and the beach that is infront of the hotel is closed due to the works. The nearest beach is a 10/15 minute walk and extremely busy and over crowded. We did not know about the construction work until arriving to the hotel it was never notified to us when we were booking the accommodation and it should be as the construction on the beach is not being finished until 2025. When asking the staff member at the reception about the beach being closed he told be the nearest beach was 2 minutes away, but that was not the case. The pool was nice but the gym was outdated the only machine that worked was the tredmill the other machines did not even have plugs so they couldn’t be turned on. The breakfast was limited and the food looked like it had been there for a few hours it did not look to be fresh. The hotel is about a 20 minute taxi ride to the old town of split which was beautiful.

Our stay was only one night. The hotel was very nice, but due to large construction works the entire area was a construction site. Closed beaches, dusty conditions and the sea view was completely ruined by construction works. None of this was communicated to us in advance. While the underground spa was beautiful, it was hampered by a lack of proper drainage, so the showers in the sauna could not be used for fear of flooding.

Ble og informert (unnskyldt) om begrenset tilgang til strand på grunn av utbyggingen i området, utbyggingen skal være ferdig i slutten av 2025. Rommet var en meget bra opplevelse. Det samme var restauranten. Treningsrommet var av dårlig kvalitet, men kan med enkle (og rimelige) grep oppgraderes. Totalt sett en god opplevelse på Hotel Fanat

The breakfast buffet had a great selection, the staff were polite and the location itself was far enough from the centre of Split to be very quiet whilst only being a leisurely hour stroll from Old Town. The cleanliness of the whole place and surrounding area was very good. Just a couple of negatives - the shower leaked onto our bathroom floor the whole time, which we raised 3 times with 2 different members of staff. Nothing was done about it the whole time we were there, with only vague promises of somebody from maintenence trying to fix it 'at some point'. Given we were in a 'deluxe suite', it didnt feel very deluxe. The area surrounding the hotel is also undergoing a lot of construction. Not a problem day-to-day, but getting public transport or taxis is doubly hard with blocked roads and this should have been something that the hotel is upfront about at check-in. The final slight plus point is that the sauna was unavailable for our entire stay. A couple of points off being a great hotel

This property is absolutely beautiful and spotless! It’s a charming boutique hotel, and our suite was so clean and comfortable that it felt like we were the very first guests to ever stay in it. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious options. The beach right across from the hotel is pristine, and with all the new amenities and restaurants opening soon, this area will quickly become one of the best places for a family vacation. We took an Uber to Split’s downtown (Riva) every evening for nightlife and shopping — just an 8-minute ride that never cost more than €15. Overall, this is the cleanest and most family-friendly area to stay in, with unbeatable beach access. We can’t wait to come back!

The room was very spacious, with everything you would need as well as nice additions such as robe, slippers, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer and extra pillows, to name a few. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good, small but with a very nice selection, and something for everyone to enjoy. (My only suggestion would be to have a toast machine) The surrounding area is beautiful, the hotel is across the road from a pebble beach (Which is very normal for Croatia) and has been under going a construction project. The majority of the work has been completed, however they are in the process of building shops/beach cafes etc. the saving grace was a local supermarket which a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Getting into town was very convenient via uber costing no more than €5, and is about a 10minute car journey from the hotel. Location wise was perfect if you want some beach days as well as evenings out in town. Can’t recommend hotel Fanat enough and hope to be back in the near future, definitely within the next year the beach front would be full developed, with something for everyone to do. Kids playgrounds, cafes, etc. can’t wait!

Booked this hotel for a beach holiday. What it doesn't tell you on this site or the hotel website is there is a massive building project by the city being built all the way along the beach front in both directions it goes all along the coast. It is right across the road from the hotel & also next door. Sea view room was of the building site which has a permit to start work from 7am every day. You cannot sit on the balcony as everything gets covered in dust & is noisy. There is a tiny beach area 5 minutes up the road where you have to cross the entrance to the building site to get to & you can hear the machinery there. The other beach you can walk to is about 15 minutes walk. The beaches are man made full of chippings so you will see hardly any fish, take some swimming shoes. Suggest you buy a parasol about 15e from town as its 25e to hire 1. The hotel staff were really helpful and excellent service. We were there 8 days but not 1 of those days were the sauna switched on. Restaurant is closed Tuesday & Wednesdays but you can order food on one of the apps. We came downstairs on the Monday to get breakfast but couldn't have toast as there was no bread, not delivered yet! Strange a 4 star hotel don't bake their own bread but didn't even have a back up in the freezer. It later turned up. Breakfast is the same every day, overcooked scrambled eggs or fried or a small cold buffet, but not covered so full of flies so we didn't touch it. Hire a bike.

The hotel is brand new, the facilities and amenities are first rate. We loved the hotel. Breakfast was very good. The hotel’s personnel is just the best.

The property looks amazing online and how they advertise however not at all what it is. Major construction all the way around - rocky roads to get to hotel, view totally obstructed by construction and the noise so bad we were woken up at 8. Wifi awful and weak security. Employees not helpful and clearly don't care. I asked for managers email and was told they don't want to hear from customers. AMAZING - NOT. Do not stay here

The junior suite was fantastic for family of 3. Staff were available, respectful and very pleasant at all times. Only down side at present is construction of the beach front which limits facilities in the immediate area and everything else that comes with the work. However, long walks or very cheap Uber trips meant you could easily get around and the Hotel itself was very well soundproofed that it had limited impact on out trip. Once the beachfront is finished, looks in the latter stages, it will compliment the hotel in a lot of ways. Still glad we stayed despite the works as the suite and staff were excellent.

Hotel is beautiful, staff was very helpful especially reception. The beach across the street is under major renovation (major!) so our sea view was full of construction trucks and beach was unusable. I do not remember receiving communication about this when booking but it’s possible I missed it, either way it is good for other guests to be aware of.

We arrived late on evening, Frane at reception desk was very helpful and efficient: I made a mistake at reservation (twin beds instead of 1 arge bed) but he found immediatly a solution to fix this. Dinner, breakfast and lunch were of excellent quality.

Great hotel with excellent service! The staff at both the front desk and the restaurant were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The location is also a big plus – just a short walk to the beach and close to several nice restaurants. Perfect spot for a relaxing stay.

Hotel Fanat was fantastic! The hotel is actually way better than the pictures, it has recently been updated so it has a very modern boutique feel to the place. It is located opposite a public beach which was nice to lie on some beach towels provided by the hotel. They are really small stones so not hard on your back at all. The food here is exceptional - I have to mention the beefsteak and truffle pasta which was absolutely divine! The staff are so lovely, welcoming and friendly - they were all amazing. We asked the manager where we could get the lovely little fig snacks that were in the rooms as we wanted to bring some back, he was so generous he just gave us two boxes to take home! The location is only a 15 minute cab ride into the centre of Split, Ubers cost around 6 euro each way. There is a little supermarket next to the hotel which is handy for things like water and snacks etc. They upgraded us to a suite when we got there which was amazing! It had two massive beds with two bathrooms which had lovely Rituals shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. Overall a brilliant hotel and very fairly priced. Highly reccomend!

The property looked a little bit unfinished. For instance, the safe was not bolted to the wall. Also, there was public construction outside of the beach right in front of the hotel. Looks like there's a year-long renovation for the area. I'm sure it'll look nice after that is done before now. You basically can't use the beach outside the hotel. Even the view outside of balcony is obstructed by a bunch of construction. That was unfortunate.

O hotel se localiza longe da cidade histórica mas pela praia andando uns 5!kms se chega lá. É numa parte nova com muita obra e construção mas nada disso impediu o acesso. Acho que daqui a uns anos vai ser uma parte muito legal da cidade e totalmente à beira mar

We were incredibly disappointed that the hotel essentially sits on a construction site and there was no mention of this during the reservation process, not was it reflected in the price. $300 per night for an ocean-view room that turned out to be a dust pool of cranes and construction equipment. I understand the construction is a government project, but to charge those prices and make no concessions for upset guests is a scam at best.

I was there for a special event and specifically picked this hotel because of the ocean view and beach that was going to be steps away from our door. That was not the case. This was also not communicated before hand. I know city construction is not in the hotels control but we would have really appreciated a heads up on what would impact our stay and directions on how to get to the hotel since the road was closed.

The breakfast buffet had a great selection, the staff were polite and the location itself was far enough from the centre of Split to be very quiet whilst only being a leisurely hour stroll from Old Town. The cleanliness of the whole place and surrounding area was very good. Just a couple of negatives - the shower leaked onto our bathroom floor the whole time, which we raised 3 times with 2 different members of staff. Nothing was done about it the whole time we were there, with only vague promises of somebody from maintenence trying to fix it 'at some point'. Given we were in a 'deluxe suite', it didnt feel very deluxe. The area surrounding the hotel is also undergoing a lot of construction. Not a problem day-to-day, but getting public transport or taxis is doubly hard with blocked roads and this should have been something that the hotel is upfront about at check-in. The final slight plus point is that the sauna was unavailable for our entire stay. A couple of points off being a great hotel
