The hotel seemed almost empty this year for some reason. Now you receive your room cleaned every other day instead of everyday, I think that is a new wrinkle and they also now charge $35 for parking and it’s mandatory. I like the Pines but there are a lot of options in Beaver Creek. Their restaurant is really good. Open for dinner.

We called to say we would be arriving late and told they are staffed all night but when we got there in the middle of the night, was no staff to be found. No room refreshing when you’ve booked a two night stay and we would have liked the in-room coffee supplies to be refreshed. Would have liked to have a cocktail in the evening but bar closed at nine-thirty. On the good side, people in reception were friendly and helpful.

Large rooms with expansive windows, at level 2 views are blocked by trees; however, still enjoyed a wonderful natural light. The bedding is Frette level quality and genuine down pillows and comforter. Steam bath, well appointed gym and pool with views. 5 minute walk to gondola/town center. Overall. Excellent value for the area.

Excellent ski in/ski out hotel with super responsive transportation throughout Beaver Creek. Everything at your fingertips…ski rental, restaurant/bar, Strawberry lift. I would definitely recommend.

We have stayed here many times in the last 10 years. However our last visit was poor. Bathroom tile crumbling and stabbed my foot. No hot water one morning. Loud maintenance noises at 1am awoke us. Still waiting for the manager to reach out to address. Not the level one expects from Beaver Creek Resort.

We have been visiting pines lodge regularly since 1998 for ten to fourteen days every March. Like the location, food and the large corner rooms. The last years the hotel is starting to fall behind in maintenance and upkeep. Last year major issues with elevators and heating. This year we had real issues with hot water. The manager did everything she could but the place start to be in need of major refurbishment and upgrade.

We were there for 5 nights and supposed to get cleaning every other day. But we only had it once during the trip. There was always trash (pizza boxes, food debris, and stuff from other rooms piled on the table in the hallway outside of our room). It just seems like the hotel has gone downhill from a few years ago. Used to feel much higher end, cleaner, etc. On the positive side, the rooms are large and the valet staff was fantastic. That’s about it.

We have stayed before at this hotel and we loved it that’s why we decided to go back except that this year they decided not to clean the rooms daily as they used to and as the price we paid corresponds. Also, they decided to outsource the breakfast service which now is awful, poor selection of choices to eat and it is exactly the same every day so after 5 days you definitely don’t want to eat there. Also, since it is a different provider you are forced to take your credit card with you instead of charging it to the room as it should be in this kind of hotels. Definitely we won’t go back next year.

The bathroom smelled like smoke, it had clearly been smoked in. Low water pressure and dated shower/bath. Vending machine was broken and took my money. The food at the restaurant was subpar, not worth the money. I have stayed at several of the hotels in Beaver Creek, this would be my least favorite.

We loved everything. The staff was excellent and very accommodating to our requests: front desk, valet, bell, housekeeping. Thank you for the fresh coffee, robe, slippers. Breakfast in the patio (my favorite in BC) was excellent. The pool was quiet, clean and perfect temp. Idyllic setting.

We spent extra and booked a corner room hoping for a beautiful view of the mountains but instead looked over the pool and roof top. Our room was also not in the best condition with many cosmetic flaws. The lodge itself is beautiful and the staff are excellent. We are only disappointed in our room type for the price we paid.

Im not one to leave teviewd but this time i had to. Our corner suite was right above thre front door. Every morning by 8 trucks would pull up and for an hour all you hear is reverse beeping of the trucks and loud noises . You cant control the room temptetute so if youre hot open the windows and hope you get it right . Walked in and out of the front door over a dozen times and no one talks to you or greets you.everyonr looks upset . The phone has a button for guest services but you have to leave a message but the concierge button works and they answer but if you go to the lobby and ask for a concierge they dont have one. And to top it off when we checked out i wanted a person to ask how our stay was so i can just let them know the things that we noticed but nope , just a balance due and have a good day.

This place is way overrated! Thankfully I only booked one night so I could find other accommodations for the rest of my trip. This place is old and has had a paint job so don't let the photos fool you. Beds are terrible! Lump in the center and slide of each side kinda beds, they are very low to the ground and unsupported. I tried both of them. You can hear everything in adjoining rooms and hallway. I could hear every conversation walking down the hallway. Light comes through the doors (zero insulation). Also, you could hear the valet entrance and staff all night long! The only good thing about this place is you can walk 10min to the ski resort to find decent restaurants. I would not recommend, plenty of much better options in the area. Also, they charge an extra fee for valet parking which makes it less affordable than other places in the area.

First room was occupied by someone’s luggage and other stuff. When we came back to desk to say there must be a mistake we got pushback Finally they gave us another room — the door didnt lock and could only be shut by slamming it. The phone didn't connect to the front desk, valet or anything else. The tv would connect to apps though it had a page to do so etc etc. theres more but its boring

The talk around the pool was how odd the service was - no one greets you, staff are not helpful. At breakfast we couldn’t even find any staff to seat us - literally no one there - so we left to eat elsewhere. Just a bad scene.

Enjoyed my visit. Staff were very accommodating. Had a spacious corner room with a nice view. Hotel is a little removed from the village, but get the Beaver Creek Village Connect app and you will get fast free transportation. Beaver Creek area has a private resort feel, but you can still visit the more public Vail village only a few miles away.

The room and space around the hotel was perfect! The only thing that was a slight inconvenience was the path to get to the rest of Beaver Creek. It was a maintenance road that often got muddy, making it hard to walk without hiking shoes. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The Pines Lodge is beautifully situated in Beaver Creek with excellent village transportation. The staff is kind, thoughtful, professional and very responsive to guests of all ages. The onsite restaurant, Grouse Mountain Grille, is one of the best in the Vail Valley!

It is a great property, but this visit there was no dining available and lounge was closed. Apparently mid October many restaurants in Beaver Creek Village are closed awaiting winter weather. We drove for meals. Location was quiet & clean.

Disappointing!!! Booked their Deluxe room which show Mountain View’s in the images BUT got a room overlooking a car park. Upon requesting a room change was told to get a better view would need to downgrade the room but unfortunately non where available. Room itself was clean and comfortable BUT don’t expect hot water after 7pm. Onto breakfast OMG, we have had better at a ‘Quality inn’ on the highway, it’s somewhat unbelievable to think a resort / hotel that is 4* deliveries a breakfast such as this. Also to top breakfast off it’s zero service I mean zero! Then upon paying you are expected to tip “for what” Hotel has no coffee facilities in reception or anywhere come to mention it, there was some coffee canisters on our floor ONE morning but empty. So we went to Walmart and bought a kettle and milk…. Now for the Pros, staff -valet- reception super helpful and polite and hotel was clean and it Snowed while there, That concludes the Pros.

Coffee bar was available near the elevator on our floor so we didn’t need to go the Lobby. However, there wasn’t a dining option in the hotel that was open for breakfast and lunch so that was inconvenient.
