We could not even see out of our windows and screen because they were covered with laundry lint… there was no filter on the laundry exhaust, and there was 3 inches of lint on the ground below our window… the area that was covered by the lint was 10‘ x 10‘ minimum

The parking was good. I always felt safe would’ve liked to have had my trash emptied daily and the fact that I extended my stay, I had to keep getting my room keys upgraded that shouldn’t be necessary.

Great place to stay if you plan to visit Pismo Beach. Hot breakfast. Pool and spa. Clean property. Walking distance to dining and many stores. Definitely will stay there again.

The room was cheap for two nights. The breakfast was awesome considering the price. Lots of choices; cereal options, eggs and sausages, bagels, bread, waffles, yoghurt and juices; fabulous. The pool was heated and not too cold considering it was a cold air temp. Hot tub was perfect temp. Room was more than adequate and we made use of the sofa bed for the little one. Overall a really good stay.

Condition of the hotel not kept up. Carpets were dirty in the room and it was obvious they let this hotel go. Uses to be a great place to stay. I would not choose it again and definitely not recommend it to friends and family.

The people next to us had a dog that barked and cried endlessly. Bed cover had something brown on it (yuck) The shower was dirty. We wound up just leaving around 3 am on last night because the room just wasn't good. We normally love this hotel chain but this one was just bad.

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. I found hair in the shower and a pair of underwear underneath one of the beds—definitely not what you expect when checking in. The manager did offer a credit of 15,000 points as an apology, which I appreciated, but there’s clearly room for improvement when it comes to housekeeping. Also, the room had a strong smell of smoke and marijuana—whether it was coming from a neighboring room or through the ventilation, I’m not sure, but it was unpleasant. I guess for the price, you get what you pay for.

Mold everywhere!! I traveled with two small children and instantly found mold as soon as we entered the room. I went back to the front and told them what I saw and they told me they would get me a new room and that the reason they had mold was because the hotel was old and it was undergoing renovations. Also said he would calling cleaning, but you can’t clean mold sir. Thats a huge hazard and I couldn’t believe the amount I saw. They switched me and upon entering the new room we were greeted with staples sticking out of the box spring. At this point I went back and just asked for a refund as this hotel couldn’t accommodate us. Dirty, mold, dusty, poor customer service, needs help. DO NOT TRAVEL HERE UNLESS YOU ARE OKAY WITH MOLD*****

The carpets were very sticky. Our closet had a piece of metal sticky out we had to push down. Instead of drawers you have racks next to the refrigerator. The windows were filthy. We will not be staying here again or recommending anyone to stay.

The floor we were put on initially had an awful smell in the hallway and room. We asked to switch to anther floor and were told "yea we have had a mold problem on that floor". Shocked they would have tried to occupy the room if they had a mold problem. The floor we moved to did not smell as much.

This is our first choice when staying in the Pismo area. We were in room 211, our first time staying in this room. We think this room may be right below the cafeteria. We could hear a lot of noise early in the morning, waking us up. Chairs or something being dragged across the floor. Foot steps. Would not want to stay in this room again.

If you get assigned room 212 or any room near, ask to be moved. I got 212 and right above it is the lobby and breakfast area. It was loud till about midnight and then the noise was back in session around 0500 for breakfast. Other than that the hotel is nice.

The room was spacious. The only proble is there wasn't a fridge even though it said there would be one. Shower doors were off the track. But beds were comfortable. The ac unit is a little loud but it made for white noise. Didn't get to the breakfast because we left early to go try a breakfast spot. We would stay here again if needed.

3 main issues... 1.) mattresses were like marshmallows... way too softand bad for lower back 2.) Cold shower in the morning at 5am when nobody else was taking shower 3.) Breakfast was not great. Not many healthy options. The actual hotel was very nice and clean and otherwise very comfortable.

Not so amazing. I needed a 2 queen bed room for me and my wife and 8 year old child. I was in Rm. 211 and ants were found on wall by electrical plugs by TV. I was given alcohol spray to eliminate the ants when checking-in in the evening. When going to bed I heard loud noises on the ceiling like furnitures dragging. I woke up at 2:09am, then at 4:01am, then at 5:15am from the noise. Only to learn that our room was below the dining and kitchen area. I went down the lobby asking to be switched to another room. None available until 3pm. I was upset. Come 3pm I was moved to the top floor Rm 408 with no one above me. That was much better and caught with sleep the day after. The only good experience was coffee and hot water available at the lobby 24/7 and the breakfast was great with warm scrambled eggs and sausages with muffins, waffle makers, toasters, bread and muffins. The room I was in was not good until I was brought up to the 4th floor.

Parking and breakfast were good. We checked in around 815pm. I had to call the hotel to get anyone to come out and check us in. Then when we finally got to our room the keys didn’t work and I had to go back up. The room was very stuffy so we used the ac. It was so loud but did cool the room down. They have bottles of soap to use in the bathroom. It was clear they are supposed to be glued to the walls but they must have come off. The shower gel was empty to has to use hand soap. When we visit family this is our go to but lately it feels like this place needs a refresh.

The staff members that I checked in with were above and beyond very helpful and kind and very sweet persons. I’m sorry can’t remember there names but one had a disability in one hand and he had one of the staff lady assist us with issue in our room. They were super helpful and kind and example of excellent customer service.

Besides being drab and old looking, there was no Housekeeping! Stayed 3 days and not once did anyone come and take trash out or refresh our towels and condiments. I even asked at the front desk to have Housekeeping come and that didn't happen either! I will never stay at a Hampton Inn again!

Fantastic Service!! Excellent Location I was at the Hotel for 2 weeks on business and the service was amazing. The room was spacious and clean. It had all the amenities that one would need and front desk was very friendly. The location was close to the beach and shopping and restaurants. I will stay there again!

Hotel is squeezed in a constrained site; tricky to find the entrance with no sign near the street. Much of the hotel is below the level of the entrance and parking lot, so the view from the window is of a retaining wall.

A nice enough hotel... Everything worked. The bed was clean. The shower was hot. However, my check-in was functional, not stellar (but we had a great conversation with the office staff as we checked out). On the way from the parking lot, it was obvious that the lint vent from the laundry had spewed maybe 20 square feet of thick lint in the very front of the hotel. Ick. Two of the overhead lights in the porte corchère were burnt out. The bed had a bedspread/comforter that does NOT take the place of a blanket. The shower water was hot but the shower head seemed to have a lot of clogs and the spray was uneven. Breakfast? As to be expected and no more. Everything seemed tasteless. Not what I'd say even a Hilton lower-budget should be.

We traveled with our dog and our stay was comfortable for all of us. There was a decent area for our dog to use the bathroom and a large enough area on the lot to walk her around. The staff was pleasant from check in to check out. There was a variety of choices for breakfast of sausage, eggs, bread/bagels/muffins, oatmeal and cereal, waffles, juice and coffee.
